Fairy Tail: Eight Gates OOC&SU

The Kingdom or Fiore... A neutral country of 17 million people. It is a world of magic. Magic is bought and sold there every day. It is an integral part of people's lives. And there are those who use magic as their occupation. Those people are referred to as wizards. The wizards belong to various guilds, and perform jobs on commission. There are a large number of guilds within the country. And in a certain city there lies a certain guild. A guild from which various legends were once born... Or rather, will continue to be born long into the future... And it's name is: Fairy Tail!

Among the time Natsu, Erza, Grey, Lucy and Happy started their time as a team in Fairy Tail, other groups within the guild held just as exciting tales as them.

Within any tale lies a hero...or something like that. There's an old legend within Magnolia Town of a trial called the Eight Gates that wizards pass through to obtain the most powerful magic known as Shimihada, a magic of unknown properties. The legend states that each Gate is a trial within itself, one forcing before you the most feared thing in your heart, another facing you against impossible odds of magic samurai and so on.

Our story lies within those wizards that are willingly placed on the search for Shimihada and the Eight Gates.

Magic these days comes from anything and everything. Different kinds of magic exist from each corner of the world. Fire magic, Ice magic, Doll magic, and so on. In fact...there are simply too many to list.

Rules:
1. No Powerplaying, Godmodding, etc.
2. Follow the Roleplaying arena's rules
3. Unless it's Charm magic, only one type per person.
4. At least write a paragraph (four to five sentences) just to keep consistency.
5. I reserve the right to add or change any of these rules.
6. Each magic has a weakness (elemental magic is the most obvious in weakness)
7. There can only be ONE Dragon Slayer per element. Dragons only teach one person their magic. Natsu has Fire, Gajeel has Steel, Wendy has Air.
8. This doesn't necessarily follow the anime/manga.
9. I'm not allowing people to rp as the characters from the anime/manga. This isn't their story.
10. Large scale magic takes more stamina, the more powerful the magic, the more stamina. Once you run out of stamina, you will collapse.

Bio: Ayumi rules with an iron fist...or rather an electric whip. Ayumi is an ex-commander in the military of Mangolia Town. After a long and hard decision, she resigned her position to become a member of a guild. Having a wizard as their commander put more pressure on her than needed, especially when it came to cleaning up after Fairy Tail's destructive habits. Despite her loathing for absolute destruction, she probably causes most of it right next to Natsu.

Other: Her least favorite word in the world is 'no' and she will pulverize anyone who utters it near her.

Bio: Kimi is the Dragon Slayer of the Water Dragon, Aquaniitanica. Taught by the Water Dragon herself. Like all the other Dragon Slayers, she was raised by Aquaniitanica and taught Dragon Slayer magic. Seven years ago, her Dragon also disappeared, but Kimi hides her fears well behind a smile and a childish blush. Kimi joined Fairy Tail in hopes of making friends and to find her foster parent.

Bio: Due to being lost in the cold mountain range when he was a kid he was found and raised the the Ice dragon that lived there, Ickseel. For 6 years he trained with him, learning dragon slayer magic up until the day where his dragon vanished. It wasn’t long after that before he headed down to Magnolia and joined Fairy Tail

Bio: Being a wander, Kai never had a true home to stay at. He mainly just moved from place to place doing odd jobs before he eventually left. That changed though when he arrived in Magnolia. Throughout his journey, he’d heard talk about guilds and became interested in them so he ended up joining the most popular guild in Magnolia, Fairy Tail.

Other: Evethough he’s quiet on the outside, he’s protective of his friends on the inside.

 

You're in. I haven't actually finished Fairy Tail...they have a lot of episodes. I finished the first season, so I'm still kinda learning more about the other guilds and such. (Ignore that...I'm rambling again)

Personality: friendly to those he is acquainted with, however, he doesn't think ahead when he is faced with opposition
Bio: with the death of his parents on the eve of his twelfth birthday, Itsuki worked hard to survive on his own. He found Fairy Tail when he was sixteen years old, happy to do missions to help pay his food and board. He uses his fire magic mostly during long range combat or with multiple enemies.

Personality: She has a rather short temper. She keeps everyone in line. Not afraid to fight.
Bio: Monet was found as child by an unkown Poison Dargon. It taught her how to use poison dragon slayer magic, But when the dragon mysteriously dissapeared she was left alone. She was found by a dark guild where they placed a dragon lacrima inside of her and locked her up. When a team from Fairy Tail destroyed the guild, they took Monet in.

Bio: For as long as he can remember, Xavier has always been someone to take risks, while sometimes the result wasn't good, there were sometimes where the result ended very well. Basically he's someone to take risk no matter the situation before him.
