Everyone with a microphone

even if i did have a mic, i would not want everyone hearing my voice, it sounds like a prepubescent boy xD

 

Isn't that a reason to let us hear it?

I am hiding behind the pretense that my microphone is not working when in fact it is working perfectly.

I would consider it amusing how many people may be nervous over the fact that they believe their voice sounds like that of the Grinch.

I would find it amusing if it wasn't for the fact I am overcome with huge nerves every single time I put my mic on incase people actually hate my voice and just say that they don't so that they don't hurt my feelings.

When I sang the other night I was shaking for nearly an hour even afterwards.

Allowing other people to hear your voice is like allowing them to know you to another new level as opposed to just text.

 

Hence why I would not see why people would be nervous of it as such.

Quite understandable. Although I always did think of text as a relay of mental information through reading; it certainly does not hold the qualities of voice but it can essentially speak to you in the figure of personality.

In my case I find it easy to talk via typing to most people, however when it comes to my voice I feel uncomfortable using it unless it is around people I am comfortable with. Which explains why I keep getting really random bursts of shyness etc depending on who is on skype/voxli. I find that I can't speak in front of some people through a fear of being judged or looked down on.
