Ever come close to dying?

I was on a pink thing in the pool when i was littile on the deep end i didn't have my water wings so my brother jumped in and the pink thing flipped and i was drowning lucky my bro saved me.

 

when i was 2 i hit my head on the corner of a wall and split my head iwas rushed to the hospital and was in the waiting room for an hour while my head was bleeding and ended up getting 16 stitches in my forehead then this other time i was seeing how long i could hold my breath i was 12 or 13 i passed out and had a seisure and my brother almost died choking on a piece of bacon when he was 10 11 but our step dad gave him the himelic monuver or what ever its called

 

I've almost died at least like five times in my life, but I remember two of them very clearly. the rest of the times were kind of randomized and I don't really remember what happened.

okay first time, I was like seven, and we were at some water park. I was sitting in the front of this giant tube that went down this flume into a little pool of water. we had too many people in the tube, and all the little handles were taken, so when the tube stopped short I flew out. well then the tube kept going and it ran me over so I was pinned underneath it, face down, in the water. I actually started blacking out because I panicked and kept inhaling really quick (thus filling my lungs with yucky water park water), but someone pulled me out from underneath and I was okay in like five minutes. o_O

second time, I was in the car, and we were driving down a one-way street (northbound). we were going past a parking lot for a plaza of stores (the exit side), and some guy was coming towards us in a truck in the southbound lane. he decided to be extremely stupid and cut across a one-way street and try to go into the parking lot through the exit. -___- moron. anyway, since the traffic in our lane isn't supposed to interact with traffic from the lane he came from, we slammed into the side of the truck. nobody got hurt, but the passenger airbag exploded (no one was sitting there) and the dust from inside got everywhere. I inhaled a bunch of it and was coughing my head off, plus I had pretty bad whiplash and my upper torso KILLED from being jerked by the seatbelt. thank god I was wearing it, or I definitely would have gone through the windshield, seeing as I was sitting in the middle seat in the back.

but I literally saw my life flash before my eyes. o_o it was creepy. I was pretty shaken up, too, and still am--any time we come to an intersection of some sort, where either we're pulling out or someone pulls out in front of us, I kind of jerk backwards in my seat and twitch.

 

One time, I put a metal hair-pin in an electric outlet. Then sparks came out and was all 'Kewl! *o*' lol.

 

On December 4 2006, at 5:33 PM.

My little brother was torturing my sister because she threatened to kill our dog. Don't ask why. My friend was over at the time, so I told her to hold on so I could see what was wrong. When I walked in my brother was holding my sister down to the couch, a five to ten- pound flashlight in his hand. He looked like he was about to bash out her brains. >>

I acted, and pinned him down, letting my sister leave. When my friend came in, I got off, and he called me a name. Which, he shouldn't have, cause he was only 10. >>

I called my mom and told her to come get him. She said okay, and we hung up. My friend and I started to walk out of the room, when my brother grabbed a hard, plastic, YES PLASTIC, THE HARD KIND OF PLASTIC, cup and threw it.

Get this: It hit my head. I fell down, and felt the pain. My friend asked me if I was okay, then she started to freak out. I was wondering why, so I looked at my hand. Blood.

I freak out, then my mom comes home. She takes me to an urgency care place, where I get stitches.

Damage?

Cut artery, with a cut on my right temple an inch long. I had to get ten stitches: 8 on my head, 2 on my artery.I think the ones on my artery are still there.

So,yups. I almost died. Lost a lot of blood. And the scary part was that he had the flashlight in his OTHER hand. If he had thrown that instead.... I wouldn't even be here.

There's my near-death story for you.

 

Some of them don't qualify as near-death experiences but:
1. 105.5 2x
2. Split back of head open (wasn't fun)
3. Broke wrist
4. Got hit in leg by discuss (didn't feel a thing...until 2 minutes later that is)
5. Dislocated left shoulder when a baby.
6. Several ear infections as a baby (also not fun)

 

I nearly died a lot...lol. When I was little I was outside and this car crashes into the fence and nearly hits me, but didn't because the fence blocked it, but it came close to tearing out the fence.

Then I nearly drowned in a pool in that same year because I slipped on a step (one of my frist times in a pool, I was three.) and my mom actually dove in with all her clothes on and saved me.

Then when I was six I got this crazy idea having to do with a hula hoop and a hair tye...don't ask how but the hair tye got around my neck and started choking me, I tried to get my dad's attention but there were three probablems. He was BLASTING the TV, he's on medicine because of his broken back so he dosn't notice things as easy as he would've if he wasn't on it, and I was choking so I could barely talk. I ended up having to pull as hard as I could to get the tye off of my throat, but I did.

THEN I was getting into a pool at summer camp and I hit a floating foam baseball thingy and went flying under again. I'm not a good swimmer so I nearly drowned again but didn't because I relized that I was in the shallow end and could stand up. XD

Then I was in a car accdient. My mom was driving me to shcool and were were crossing a bridge. A person in another car (talking on her cell phone -_-) starts trying to cross ALL FOUR lanes. Of couse, she hits us and nearly kills us, but we were lucky and only had a few scratches. But...when people got there...they lady was STILL talking on the phone! She didn't even say a WORD to us!

And I was born three months premature, they thought I wouldn't make it and said if I DID make it, I would be really small and probably die...THEY WERE WRONG! XD

Wow....I nearly died a lot, didn't I? O_o This and all the times I can't remember....

 

When I was 2 weeks old, I had this sickness...it starts with a P...oh well.

To make a long story short, I couldn't eat anything since all the food I ate couldn't be digested, so I'd puke it all up. It came to the point where I was starving to death, and I was pretty dehydrated too. T_T It even came to the point where I was throwing up blood. If I didn't get the surgery I needed...well...

 

Damn...you have an evil little brother!

 

...My gosh. How do you find these conditions and/or people to nearly die from?

 

Pssh. You're telling me.

Before that, like less than 2 months before that, he got mad at me and my friend for what we did to him. Only cause he wouldn't leave us alone. (We tried giving him a make-over. >>)

He threw a D BATTERY at my HEAD. It hit the back of my head. HARD. >.<

Not to mention that NOW, my grades are lower, my memory is worse, I have more trouble thinking, AND I have an inch-long scar on my head. NOT. FUN. >>

 

You should pretend you have a psychotic split personality to get back at them. Say a few random things (ex.Your brain would look good as a Christmas tree ornament) and act like you don't know what he's talking about when he asks why you said that.

 

Let's see... When I was thirteen I had to have an operation performed on my heart, and I had to stay in the hospital a few days afterward. During the second day, a tube that was emptying bad stuff out of me got backed up, and half of me turned lobster red and the other half turned white. The nurses didn't realize it, but my mom pointed it out to them and they fixed the problem. But nobody had noticed, I would have died.
So there it is. Not nearly as traumatic as some people's but it was still scary for me.

 

I have a bad memory too. It's like one second I put my pencil case on a hook (it had holes so it could do that) and another second I cant find it, and I blamed my friends because I thought they stole it just to piss me off. XD

lol. Reminds me of a time I was about to get a detention for a month-late library book.

It was called 'Aphrodite's Blessing'. I needed ideas for roleplays and such.Well, she gives me a detention slip after warning me MULTIPLE times to get in turned in. I swear, I looked EVERYWHERE for it.

The night before the day I was to go to detention, I found it. Buried under a pile of crap. In my closet. I didn't even put it there. I swear, it crawled there on its own! And I turned it in after much celebration the next day.

And get this:

I still got the detention. >.>

Ah, well. I guess things just go *POOF*. >>

 

Oh yeah, I forgot, and also, when I was like IDK 7, there was this big hill (and when i say big I mean BIG) and my friend's house was on the bottom of the hill and they had a bike, but the bike was bigger than me and had no brakes. So I was thinking 'Bike+big hill=An awesome bike ride' so I go all the way to the top of the hill, ride down, but thing is, the bike falls and so do I right on my head too! >.< I start crying and go to my mom and fall asleep. After I wake up I cant remeber what happend and stuff. That's why I have a bad memory! ^o^ (But it's sorta weird how I remeber that but not alot of other things.) O.o

 

Yeah (sorry, forgot to quote). Do that about 2-3X a week. That will convince him that you are not playing around and he will get scared of you (evil laugh)...until he figures out that you're faking, then you might have a problem.

 

:( that almost happend to me but my father was underway to home so he was little earier home. I damaged my head a little Not so hard as you. But i know how it is to feel that :(

 

when i was 6 a wild animal got into my house (it wwas either a wild dog or wolf, can't quite remember) and it chased me around the entire place. It eventually caught me and....messed me up pretty badly. I got cuts all over my body (13 of them became scars) and i also lost ALOT of blood. I also broke my arm when the dog/wolf tackled me.

Yup, that's my story.

 

Same thing here.

Once, at a friends b day pool party, i went into the deep end when my mom wasnt there, and i almost drowned. the dad of a friend of mine saved me.

I sorta wonder now....what would it be like if i had drowned?
