Ever come close to dying?

seriously! HAs any of you ever come close to dying? If you have I wanna know! I'm doing a paper in my english class about Kids dying at early ages...I need to know...I have to use 5 examples and I'm using mine as one...


*I ate a whole bottle of tylonol when i was 3...I had a tube go down my throat..which was hard to breath out of...yuck*

I once almost got hit by a motorcycle. Don't ask how. Unless you really want to know.

 

Hmm... last year in august. I was on my way home from a anime convention which is a 4 hour drive to the thing and nearly 5 hours to get home. I was just driving when all of a sudden a car with a small trailer attached to it on the back with another car ran into the side of my explorer. it spinned twice and it actually almost flipped, I saw the street really close from my window but thankfully it didn't. The wreck really messed up the front bumper and side of my ride. When I got out to check the damage, I instantly started crying and shaking. I was in shock. I even had my two friends with me and it made me cry some more. I could have killed them, when the tow truck came and the police made a report, I just couldn't speak or do anything. I was standing there, still crying and shaking and not listening to anybody.

When we got home, all week I was feeling really sick and my parents told me it was just nerves or I was still in shock. But I've been feeling loads better, my closest friend who was with me in the accident was really supportive and kept hugging me and telling me it was all right. Even thought I kept saying I could've killed us, she said it was all right, we're okay and that's what matters.

See it's real easy to recover from something like that when you have really good friends to cheer you up.

 

That's really what i need to know HOW!?! besides...I'm bored and I have this paper due within the week...so I'm listening, or readin....lol...which ever

 

I almost got ran over 6 times so far in my life. The last one was a police car. The only car who didnt start bi***ing at me for not being careful xD.

 

well I was 10 or 9, I forgot but anyway my dad takes me, my brother, and my cousin with my uncle to go ride a motorcyce.......but I was to little. :( So anyway I start walking around board and at one point I walked in the path of the motorcycle. Now I turned my head to see the motorcycle and I didn't move like a deer in the headlights, and before the motorcycle hit me it turned just missing me......and I start walking aimlessly again like it didn't happen. It sounds hard to beleave but it did happen.

 

I was ABOUT to suffocate to death due to a moon bouncer. O_o

There was this huge moon bouncer and ALOT of kids were in it. I was really young and didn't want to go in to the bouncer cause of the crowd. I leaned on the side of it (Don't ask) then suddenly all of the kids went over to the side I was leaning on and the bouncer folded over me. (Hard to explain) I was cramped and could hardly breathe. My brother saved me by yelling to all of the kids to move to the over side and then I was freed.

 

Ive had a 104 fever three times and my friend has had a 105.5 fever once, which can cause brain damage, but shes fine, a little craxy, but fine.........

 

I nearly drowned... Twice. o.o

The first time, I was 4 or 5, and I didn't put on my water wings and hopped into my grandparent's old pool. My mom saved me. =3

The second time, I was about 6 or 7 and I got pulled out into the ocean... I couldn't get up for a breath. My sister helped me out that time.

 

Near death experiences scare me o.o

some were drowning others car accidents o-o eep!

 

I almost got run over by a truck...

 

Idk?

Umm.....Kansas+tornado= a close encounter with a tornado!

About 4 times in my life time!

I won't mention any names, so no one will feel left out...but you all are helping me ALOT! thanks...At first, I made this poll to help me..but I think it's fun to learn about other's peoples mishaps! please tell me more near-death experiences, so I can write an artical... lol not really...but i think it's fun to read...

 

I almost drowned, but then there was the time I fell from the monkeybars.

Don't recall ages, but:

- brick pillar fell on me when I was very young, and would've proceeded to crush me if people didn't come and roll it over.
- almost fell off a building roof

 

Hmm...let's see

- Almost run down by a boat
- got dragged underwater for over a minute
- Almost hit by a semi
- Car's been forced into on-coming traffic

and...

- almost crushed by a TV

(Wow...now that I read these...they just seemed to get lamer and lamer XD)

 

OOOOO and one time my brother nearly drowned because his friend got mad at him, so he pushed him under the water and he nearly drowned (he was under for over a mintue) , he saved himself my bitting the kid and they were never friends again
