Eternal Slumber: the dream world

"I guess," she replied. "Actually, I came here to investigate one of those cities I've heard about."

 

Daisuke was walking back through the forrest the same way he came before, except this time he could hear people talking and as he came closer he could make out the people in the distance.

 

".....what kind of cities?" She asked. I have a clue...but...

 

"I don't know too much about them," Norah admitted. "I heard that there are cities with loads of new technologic stuff, created by.... people.... that aren't exactly human. I'm not sure where to start, really."

 

"....really?.....I've heard about that too.....sort of...." Angel pondered over this information. It's not really new news...since there've been many rumors about it already....except no one ever believed the guy...but....this would support those rumors....interesting...

 

Daisuke came closer seeing the two of them clearly and being able to hear their voices clearly, but this also meant they could see him just as clearly.

 

Norah saw something move from the corner of her eye. She jerked her head in that direction, and saw Daisuke. She waved at him enthusiastically.

 

Daisuke paused for a second then waved back simply, "So I hear you two know about the cities" Daisuke said getting closer to them

 

Angel tensed up just a bit. She felt insecure but she ignored the feeling. There's probably nothing wrong.....and you've been wrong about that feeling before too....

 

Kaitlyn looked around, "Where did he go?" she shrugged and walked alone into a technology city.

 

"Yeah, we were," she replied, feeling a little cautious. "Do you happen to know anything about them?"

 

"I know that human shaped monsters made them and that they have technology greater than the real world. But apparently thoses coma incidents on the news there somehow connected with the cities" Daisuke said.

 

Comas?......I think I've heard of that..... "Really?....how would you know?" Angel asked him. She was fully aware that he's the guy that was chasing her....but maybe he wouldn't know that.

 

"I knew someone who went into the city and when he didn't come out he ended up in a coma" Daisuke said, These people can't be the person I thought I saw and the other one who ran into the forrest, or are they

 

"...really?.....I'm sorry." Well....seems the rumors are true....and if that's the case....well....someone has to go in there and find them....I'll pass. Angel wondered if she should've tried exploring further. A while ago she almost came upon one of those cities, but decided she shouldn't go check it out. Well...if I did I probably would be in a coma.

 

"It doesn't matter" Daisuke said, "I wouldn't go near the one up the path, it's heavly guarded by machines like something from a sci-fi movie" he said pointing up the path he came down from.

 

Angel looked in the direction he pointed. "Is that so?" Nah...I'm not going to bother taking a look.

 

I wonder how many people are trapped there, Norah thought to herself. "Are there more cities like that that one?"

 

"Yes, so far i've found three just like it" Daisuke said

 

Huh....even in the dream world I like to keep my boundaries. I should explore more....then again....maybe not.... Angel thought to herself, and figured it'd be best to just not bother the cities. Yes, it would be intersting to see what kind of tecnological stuff they have, but no it wouldn't be cool to be in a coma and have everyone worry.
