Eternal Slumber: the dream world

Kaitlyn heard something. She stopped and listened, "Do you hear that?"

 

"No..." Daisuke said trying to listen

 

"It might just be me...." Kaitlyn replied lowly.

 

At that moment when she felt Kaitlyn freeze and ask if Daisuke had heard anything, Angel had held her breath in and did not move.

 

Kaitlyn sighed, "Never mind" she walked away from the tree, knowing Angel was there.

 

Norah watched as Angel ran away into the forest. She smiled and leaped into the treetops of the forest, using the wind to help her. She landed silently on one of the branches of the tree Angel was behind. She looked down and waved smugly at Angel, but didn't make a sound.

 

Kaitlyn walked away from the tree silently.

 

Daisuke walked further into the forrest, I was planning on going through here anyway.

 

Angel saw Norah and smiled and gave a small thumbs up barely moving her arm. She still stayed still unaware that Kaitlyn knew her whereabouts.

 

"By the way, what's your name anyway?" Kaitlyn asked Diasuke.

 

"Daisuke. And you?" Daisuke asked back after answering

 

"Kaitlyn" she answered, "Do you have a weird feeling that something is going on?"

 

Angel slowly peeked around the tree after 5 minutes had gone by. A very patient wait. She didn't see anyone nor hear anyone. "So.....how's it going?" She asked the other person in the tree.

 

"Can't complain," Norah replied. "Why were you hiding?"

 

"Well.......why wouldn't you?.....if you saw some strangers and they started chasing you....wouldn't you hide as well?......maybe?" Angel replied back.

 

Kaitlyn sighed and was lost in thought, I wonder what's going on.

 

Daisuke walked out the other side of the forrest after not answering Kaitlyn's question.

 

Norah jumped down from the tree, landing lightly on the ground. "Well, you probably wouldn't of had that problem if you didn't start running," she laughed. "I think they're good people."

 

Daisuke could see one of the technology cities, It's too normal to be here he thought over in his head, Maybe I should avoid it... for now

 

"Hmmm....maybe...." She shrugged. "I sort of have a strange way of making friends. So...what are you doing here? Just hanging out?"
