But I AM here with you :D
I'm glad you're enjoying yourself here! And I have seriously never heard of this English stereotype before. o.O Most of the food I've ever eaten has been wonderful! Fish & chips, Toad in the hole, Bangers & mash, Cornish pasties. Heck, even the Chicken Korma, Balti and madras were made in Britain! (Facepalm for nearly mentioning lasagne as a traditional British dish)
I don't get that bad teeth stereotype either. We get free health and dental care for all, which would surely mean we have better teeth than Americans right?

*cough cough* Limies. Oh, and I am glad to say that I get along quite well with my Canadian neighbors. Figuratively. We are the best of friends, we are.

I, however, cannot say the same of the two Britishers above...

Don't worry, we get by with our casual racism against each other all the time, I don't hink any of us take it harsh.
You've got sheep shagging Welsh, Skirt wearing scots, and scone eating English.
Don't even get me started with Southerners and Northerners, not enough time to explain that.

    It's all banter...

Do hope you are having a rather dandy time in England, the place is marvellous!

English food in itself is rather grand but a stereotype of it being rather unappealing has existed for a good while, primarily, I would presume, due to the ingredients it utilises. That in itself is amusing considering many other European cuisines use similar ingredients or make similar dishes, but usually hold a sort of twist on them that differentiates them from the aforementioned. It also is, I believe, fuelled from a general idea that English cuisine is "bland" in comparison to a few others. Personally, I find traditional English foodstuffs to be lovely. We can never find lovely fish and chips in this area however. Maledictions, Canada.

You are implying Ireland is not currently developing a very vibrant cuisine scene, vite!

And thus began the First and Second Wars of Scottish Independence.

As long as it is not 1812 I dare say Canadians and Americans shall forever be dandy friends.

As long as you do not talk about hockey.

Please stay away from discussing hockey, or, for that matter, staying out on the streets of any large Canadian city when there is a major playoff game occurring, especially with an American team.
