Hi! I just downloaded the emulator "Pcsx2 0.9.4" and i have a problem! I can't play any games! Idk if it's my configuration or what but when ever i click play and then run it brings up a screen that has a picture of some orange thing, which doesn't change, and the black thing in the background just goes on and on with these code things! Now i came here because i know some of you have emulators...and i need help. so if you could help that would be great!

    1) your asking on the wrong forum

    2) you need your PS2's BIOS in order for the emulator to run anything. along with a beast of a computer to play the games that are capatible

    because emulators are illegal.

edit: I'm sorry, the actual emulators are not illegal. The downloads of copyrighted games are. Sorry... so if you're not using it for that, OPENED.

Before you download a BIOS, find out what model your PS2 is. Then you have to find the EXACT SAME BIOS that your PS2 has. The name of the BIOS should be on the back of your PS2. SCPH and then a bunch of numbers. If you just download any PS2 BIOS you find on the [bigvoice]Internet[/bigvoice] then it might be illegal.

your not suppose to download them at all.
they made BIOS dumpers avalible to the public so you could dump it from your legally bought console

    but noone does that....

Oh. Well, I didn't know about BIOS dumpers, so I just used my method. Also, does anyone think it would be possible to make an external graphics card? I have a laptop with a graphics card that is slightly shy of excellent. :/

Can you put a link to it? I'll look for it in the meantime.

its hard to find since it WAY outdated
but the plugin is called "gsdx9 0.9.0"

all of your games will have color corruption though (since it doesn't support pixel shaders)
