Also, I hate this "IT'S NOT ON THE SYSTEM I CHOSE SO MUST GET MAD GRRR" mentality. Exclusives are very healthy for the industry and the community. You don't see me getting mad that Bloodborne is a PS4 exclusive. You see me going "Oh, a game I want on PS4. That's good. I now have reason to get a PS4 someday."

 

Not when the direct sequel is "exclusive" on a single console, and on the weaker of the two consoles. Didn't Tomb Raider on the PS4 sell almost twice as much as the xbone version? It doesn't make any sense other than Microsoft saying, 'HELLO, BOYS! WHO WANTS SOME MONEY?'

 

It's a timed exlusive lol. Microsoft are still getting it first, and it's a biT shameless on both's part, but it will come to PS4/PC eventually. I don't necessarily agree with it, but eh :X

 

I know its a timed exclusive but it's still a poor move on CD/SE's part. Why sell it first on a console with weaker sales other than getting money from the big guy?

 

Who cares if it's "weaker"? That's not a point, just a shot.

I mean, Sony secured Transistor and that was made by a former XNA developer. You can't cherry pick when to be mad about this stuff and when not to be. Splinter Cell: Conviction was console exclusive to Xbox. And?

If a company decides to go one way with their product and increase competition, then that's a good thing. Competition is healthy. I bought Dark Souls and Dark Souls II on Xbox and now Bloodborne is on PS4. Oh well for me? The PS4, a system I wasn't interested in, is getting games I want to play and that's a good thing. It creates a want for me where one simply didn't exist. Should be the same with Xbox for other people.[DOUBLEPOST=1407883532][/DOUBLEPOST]

Because it's a business decision to increase Xbox sales...? Like, just because there's a three million system lead doesn't mean the Xbox should bow out. Ask the Dreamcast about how much sales leads matter.

God these console wars are silly... I mean, you're basically saying "I'M SO MAD THIS CONSOLE THAT I DON'T WANT HAS GAMES I WANT! HOW INSULTING TO ME!"

Yeah, I'm the fanboy.

 

Obviously, but all CD/SE have achieved is annoying fans of the series. Do you honestly think those fans, fans that are miffed at MS for stalling their game, will now pay them to play a game that will eventually come out on the PS4? It will give MS sales, sure, but I can see it hurting CD/SE's reputation more than anything.
