Eclipse : The War of Nickidea

"I can only think of one place. Go to Nickidea.... none of the guards know that place.... It's around the corner, then through the forest patch. There is a path you take down there and then behind a very large bush ia another path. Follow that until you hit the gray path, which leads to Neckidea. That's where i am trying to build up resistors against the war Kiara's sister is unleashing," she said. Her heart thudded again as he looked at that sword. Was that a gift she gave him before she died or somethin?
"If you don't mind me asking. Do you know how Kiara died?" she asked softly, hoping he wouldn't get too emotional over that question

Bio: He came with his mother when he was very little. His mother was killed when a gang member robbed their house. He has lived there by himself for 5 years. Sometimes he still has nightmares of when she was killed, trying to save him. After his adventures with Kiara and Jecht he returned to his rooftop house and continued living there, occasionally having a dream about Kiara dying and Jecht's rage(assuming that based on your characters). When he was old enough he started helping build houses and thats what he does now.

Carli's words became silent as they reached the place. Her eyes tittered with the passion of the street.
"I can quite well remember this place. Yes this is it," she said. She jumped off his back softly and ran towards a stone, and climbed on it, seeing over a large fence which was the palace.
"This is where i come to spy on her royal majesty. If i am caught, there is a million dollar reward. If I'm caught dead, a half million," she said frowning. Her eyes caught on towards the royal palace.

 

Laith stood atop the half finished roof of one of the buildings that lined Lexicon street. Last winter a storm had damaged the roof, making a nasty gash in it and this summer Laith's team was called to fix it. He had been working for about two hours, spreading tar on the hot roof. As if it wasn't hot enough on its own, the tar seemed to take the sun's energy and push it right back at him. Sweat made his hair stick to his face and he removed his shirt and tied it around his waist, revealing his strong torso. A lot had changed since he had been with Kiara and Jecht. He had grown much taller and he was very lanky now. His dark black hair stuck out in all directions and, no matter how hard he tried, remained just as spiky and crazy as ever. As he push his mop of hair out of his face he saw a boy running down the street with a girl on his back. As they turned to go into the hidden street, the boy slowed and he could really see them better. He couldn't believe his eyes and jumped off the roof, his sneakers sending clouds of dust up as he rushed to catch up with them. The finally stopped and the girl hopped agilely off his back, boy she was kinda pretty but he put that in the back of his mind as he walked up to Jecht who stood facing away from him at the moment.
"Jecht? Is that you," he said, approaching him cautiously."

 

Carli was all caught up in her mind, that she hadn't even noticed a newer person come in. Her eyes only stayed focused on the palace. She saw guards, mostly, which meant that the Queen was near there. Her feet shuffled slightly on the rock. A single sweat drop, rolled down the side of her face. She was too nervous to actually barge in there and kill the queen herself, and risk getting caught and beheaded more than likely. She saw a guard look straight at her. Her eyes dilated and then went small. Horror on her face. The guard yelled out something and they all started running back outside. She heard a titanium door open, which sounded on the other side of the large fence. She let out a stiffed gasp and lost her foot, falling back off the large rock.
"ah!" she screamed out, falling off, and towards the dirt ground.

 

Almost unconsciously Laith side stepped and moved forward to catch her. She was light and with his muscles now, he could even lift Jecht if he had to, a feat that would have been impossible when he was younger. He moved with the motion of her fall and caught her smoothly. He gave a quirky grin as he looked down at her.
"I don't think we've met before, miss. I'm Laith. Well seeing as the present circumstances are dangerous, I think we should keep this meeting short, sweet, and to the point.Jecht, lets go back to my roof. The guards are too lazy to climb up and patrol, and you can't be seen if you don't peek over the edge too far. I'll let Jecht run interference for us."
With one swift and fluid motion he had her up on his back and was running. His legs felt good running, like they were blended with the earth, though as he moved faster and faster it seemed the opposite. He felt like he was flying, dodging the crowds and agilely ducking around everyone and everything that stood in his path.

 

jecht who had also been caught up in watching the queen he thought how it would be if kiara hadnt.... if he hadnt.....
he heard carli gasp and spun around and heard his name meantioned

he quickly drew his sword and placed it against the new appearences neck
"who are you and how do you know me?"

 

Carli hadn't really had any time to say anything.; The only thing she heard was his name was Laith and then she was on another back, and already being took off with. She let out a slight scream, scared and afraid. She didn't know if the guards were going to get her or not. They have been for a while, but she hadn't met this guy before. Would he turn her in? Or really help her. Then she forgot Jecht.
"Jecht! Come on!" she shouted, trying not to shout in Laith's ear to make him go deaf, at the least. She held on tight, but not too tight. Enough not to fall off. The wind blew in her eyes, making them water. She had to close her eyes and feel the sudden air rush blow against her.

 

jecht spun around sword slacing thru the guards
"i wont lose this one"
he turned and began to run after the stranger and carli
"so you got a name kid"

 

Laith looked indignant as he rested his eyes on Jecht.
"You don't remember me? I'm Laith, ya know, that little ten year old who tagged along with you? Oh come on you can't be that old to forget."
He shook the hair out of his face and sped up a little. Coming to some rubble, he jumped over them and used the last to launch them onto the roofs.

 

jecht lept after them thinking he vagly remembered some kid following him around before but
he ran up grabbing carli out of his arms then said
"sorry dont remember you and ill carry her"
he took off running fast

 

Laith sped up so he could lead the way back. He wondered why Jecht had taken Carli from him. Thinking that he liked her, Laith flexed his muscles and sped up to give them some room alone. He was running so fast that he was a blur but he wasn't panting yet.
