Eclipse: The City of Dreams

he took off running into the air following the trail he could feel something
dark up ahead he spaed up until he saw the guards that had taken her

"hey there im looking for a girl bout ya high with an iteresting personality?"
he hit his watch his gauntlet coming out

 

They both got out their weapons.
"So what if we did see the girl?" he asked.
Kiara could hear them talking outside.
"Jecht!" she called out. The force she once felt came back and held her down.
"Jecht! They're doing something to me," she called out, trying to breathe as she couldn't.

 

"well then you have just called on the rath of demon eye jecht"
jecht shot forward punching one and taking out the other with his tail

he then turned to kiara

"are you alright kiara ill have you out in a sec"
he reached forward and ripped down the wall moving to hug her

 

Kiara sat up and tried breathing again. She saw Jecht. She stood up and hugged him, starting to cry. She didn't want to leave him again.
"They were fakes," she sobbed. She kept him close and continued to cry
"I don't want to leave from you again," she whispered closing her eyes tears going down her face. She tried to stop crying but she couldn't.

 

Shigiku simply shook her head to show that she didn't know what could be wring. All she knew was that it was paingful and it seemed to have something to do with the bullet. As the numbness spread across her chest, she felt a sharp pain right where her heart was. She put a hand on her chest and winced. She wanted to scream, but she just couldn't say anything. She wanted this feeling to stop but it wouldn't go away... what was happening...?

You need to get help...

Shigiku suddenly heard some sort of a voice in her head. Who are you...? she asked. My name is of no importance... I am here to help you... the voice replied. Shigiku felt tears running down her cheeks. How can you help me? What's going on? she asked. That bullet... there was poision in it... the cure is simple... the voice replied back. What is it...? she asked. Please... tell me...

 

Brad frowned and grabbed his bag, looking for anything that could help her.

"Damn, what is wrong with her?" he thought. He looked up and noticed she grabbed her chest, at the exact place of the heart. He got out a stethoscope and place it on her chest listening for her heartbeat.
He wanted to make sure that she was okay, and that she would be safe.

"Your heartbeat sounds different," he said a little shocked.

 

Shigiku was breathing heavily. It hurt... ALOT. The cure... is in the cabinet behind you... the voice said and then she heard it fade. She could feel her conciousness starting to slip away, her heartbeat going a little slower. Srtuggling... she managed to tell Brad. "P-Poision... in... t-the bullet..." she said and gripped her chest, struggling to stay awake. If she didn't stay awake, then how could she tell him where the cure was. Thank you... she said to the voice, although it had faded.

 

jecht could sense something farther in the cave
"come on kiara lets go back i need to talk to your father"

he led her out of the cave
"how would you like it if i could be your personal guard?"

 

Brad then thought to himself.
"Of course! Poison," he thought. He ran to a cabinet looking for certain antidotes. He was a little worried. What sort of poison is in her blood stream? Which antidote should he give her? He looked around unknowing. He looked over at her.
"Shigiku, what sort of poison is in your bloodstream?" he asked softly.

"You don't have to do that Jecht," Kiara said. She kept close to him as tears still ran down her face. She was shook up from the ambush and still wanted someone to be there with her.
"All I want is just to stay with you," she said. She then remembered that he said he was wanting to talk to her father.
"Wait, what!? You can't go anywhere NEAR him without his bodyguards. They'll take you back down to the dungeon," she said holding his hand and pulling him close.
"I don't want to lose you again," she straining and holding back tears.

 

Shigiku closed her eyes, hoping that the voice inside her head could help her awnser that question... but she didn't hear anything... nothing at all... The voice had vanished. Please... I need an awnser... she pleaded but nobody responded. She winced and coughed up blood again. Dang it... I can feel myself losing conciousness... what do I do?! She felt warm tears start to run down her cheeks as she waited for an awnser... but still, nobody responded. "I-I... D-Don't... K-Know..." Shigiku said.

OOC- sorry i haven't been on for a few days... I've been grounded... >.<

 

OOC- That's okay :D Omegaxis posted like 3 days ago and I didn't even reply until yesterday lol

BIC- Brad looked around. He grabbed a certain vial, hoping that her symptoms fit it. Her symptoms fit a couple of the vials, but the wrong one could mean harmful toxins in her body.
"I'm not sure if this is it, but its most common. I'm hoping this is it," he said then got out a small injection syringe.
"Shigiku, Hold on, I'll try and help you as much as I can," he said sticking the top part of the needle in the vial extracting some of the medicine. He filled it halfway, which was the expected dose. He took a cleansing wipe and wiped it a few times across her arm. He stuck the top part of the syringe in her skin until it broke through into her veins. He pushed the bottom part slowly until it emptied out.

 

Shigiku winced and clenched her fists when he stuck the needle into her arm. It hurt more than she had expected it to. She felt the medicine go into her blood, but she still felt the same. She assumed that it was because the medicine wouldn't take any effect right away... it would probably be a little bit. But she could still feel the poision at this moment, and she grabbed her shirt where her heart was even tighter, feeling the pain, stiil. Then, not to long after that, she fell unconcious. The medicine ran through her blood... but would it work?

OOC- lol... XD XD YAY! my dad is gonna fix my computer today... XP XP or so he says... lol...

 

He pulled her hair out of her face and smiled, knowing that she would make it through. He looked over at the desk and pulled the phone over, calling Kiara. It rang for a while until he got her message. He decided to leave his own message.
"Hey Kiara, I need you to come back as soon as you can. There was poison on the bullet and right now I gave her some medicine to help her out. When you get this message, call me as soon as you can," he said then hung up the phone. He then walked over to an old door and pulled out a blanket. He pulled it over Shigiku's small body and tucked her in a few times until he was positive she would be comfortable.

 

Shigiku's breaths were short at first... but after a while she started breathing normally again. Her breathing became steady as she seemed more comfortable, now that the medicine was taking effect. She didn't really have a dream, though... since she had fallen unconcious and wasn't really asleep... but she did think she saw a light in the distance... perhaps the one that she had seen in the alley? Yes... that was it... The light glowed brilliantly and she stared at it in awe... but then she thought she heard a voice in her head... the same one as in the alley. Follow me... it said and Shigiku started to walk towards it... almost in a hypnotized state. But then there was another voice in her head... the same one that had helped her with the poision. Don't do it! It's a trap! You'll be hurt, Shigiku... She stopped walking and turned around, but nobody was there.

jecht cracked up laughing he pick her up and started flying back

"so explain to me why i got past yours exactally? besides dont you see if im
your personal bodyguard ill always be at your side"
he looked ahead as they flew over the wall

 

"I know but...I just don't want you to get hurt around me. I can't stand that," she said starting to cry again. She felt the rocking motion as he flew and she felt a little warily.
"Where are you taking me exactly?" she asked, wanting to know. She seemed to be missing something. She looked down at her phone and pulled it out of her pocket. She saw she had a new message and she listened to it. Fear struck her eyes when she heard the message

 

"Who... are you two?" Shigiku asked, a bit scared. She didn't know where she was and she didn't know who they were... it was pitch black... except for the light that had been speaking to her. She was so confused. I am a friend... and I want to help you... the light said. Don't listen, Shigiku! She's lying! the voice inside her head said. I a your conciounse...(sp?) I know what's best!! Shigiku shook her head, confused. Who should she listen to? Who should she trust?

 

jecht could see the worry in kiara's face
"whats wronge did something happen"
jecht landed on by the orpaneg
"hold on a sec"
he went around a corner so she couldnt see and retracted his wings and tail
the walked back to her

 

Kiara ran into the orphanage.
"Shigiku's been poisoned" she explained to Jecht.
She ran through the hallway and into the infirmary room. She saw Brad and looked over at Shigiku.
"Is she okay?" Kiara asked tears building up in her eyes.

Brad nodded.
"She should be fine soon, but for now she needs a whole lot of rest. She should be good in a few days, give or take," he said.

 

Come with me... you can trust me... I'm a friend... I want to help you live... the light said. Shigiku started to walk towards it but the voice inside her head stopped her. Don't do it! Shigiku! It's a trap! You'll die! the voice said. Shigiku stopped walking and put a hand on her head. She looked at the light and then looked behind her. Which one of them should she trust? It confused her... and she had a slight headache. Slowly, she started backing away from the light.

In real life, her breathing was slow and steady, and it seemed like nothing was going on... nothing was wrong... it was all in her head. She continued to back away from the light, the voice in her head persuading her... it seemed more trustworthy... But the light didn't seemed pleased. No! You aren't leaving! the light said and it suddenly became brighter, filling the whole room... until...

A few seconds later she woke up. Her eyes shot open and she stared at the ceiling, breathing heavily... almost as if she had been holding her breath. A cold sweat ran down her forehead and fear had stricken her heart. What had just happened? Who were the people speaking to her?

She looked up, still breathing heavily, and noticed Brad standing over her and Kiara was there, too, now. She blinked, looking up at them... wondering if they were really there... Everything that happened recently seemed so fake... and she couldn't really tell what was real from what wasn't anymore...
