Eclipse: The City of Dreams

"I don't know... All I remember after getting amnesia was that I awoke in my room, and my
father came to explain everything to me... He is the King of the town, and I ended up being
a princess," she explained. She felt bad that she didn't know anything else. She got out of
the vent and realized the first thing he said.
"Wait... Don't leave me...please," she said grabbing his hand.

 

jecht stared at her bug eyed
"ok i definatly gotta get outta here your dad kinda doesnt like me"
jecht turned and jumped over the castle wall and headed back to his house

"man that was a shock"

 

She frowned and clenched her fist. She wasn't going to just stand around and let him leave.
She wanted to be with him. She ran over to the wall and jumped over it. She followed him.
"I won't lose him again," she said softly. She wasn't going to let her father stand in the way
of him and her. She wouldn't allow it!
"I think...i don't like him just as a friend. maybe I like him more than that," she thought to herself. She Continued to run chasing him down. It seemed like just earlier where she was trying to catch him.

 

jecht kept running and he jumped over buildings he glanced back and saw kiara following him
"what the?"
jecht stopped to watch her run up by him
"why are you following me dont you think your father will be angery?"

 

"I don't care what he thinks. He can get mad all he wants, but he can't stop my friendship
with you," she said strongly. She didn't realize but tears drew up in her eyes then ran down
her face. She kept steady and firm.
"I don't want to lose you again," she said her voice shaken and rasp. She felt shattered,
and that he was the one to help her.
"Please don't leave me alone, I WANT you near me," she said still crying. She didn't
realize but she broke down in tears and cou;dn't stop herself. She didn't want him to
leave at all.

 

Shigiku watched as the gurads took Jecht out of the room, a small sadness filling up inside of her. She wasn't sure why but it reminded her a little of her mother's death... and of when she was taken prisoner... It had been a horrible time for her... She saw Kiara a bit upset at it all and just nodded silently as she ran out of the room towards the dungeon. She didn't know what she should do now... she wasn't tired at the moment... So she just got up out of the bed. She really didn't even know if the guards had seen her come in with Kiara, and she didn't want to get in trouble so she jumped out of the window. She needed to think about a few things... and wanted to go back to her house for a bit. She ran down the alleyway and headed in the direction of her house.

 

jecht smiled at what she said and how she acted
"thats the kiara i know right there"
he embraced her hugging her close he leaned forward and kissed her on her cheek

"i love you kiara"

 

Kiara smiled and hugged him back. She felt like the biggest piece of her life was now connected with her. She held him closer and looked up, tears still running down her face.
"I love you too Jecht," she said her voice still rasp. She didn't want to leave, she didn't want this moment to go away or end at all. She just wanted to stay there with him. She felt soemthing, another force. She became overwhelmed once more and felt a force on her. She whimpered and tried to stand strong.
"Jecht," she said softly before falling to her knees.

 

jecht could feel her slumping down and reached up for his scar realizing it was glowing red

"i have to go i shouldnt have done that"
jecht turned and ran making sure that she couldnt follow by climbing to the top of a tall building

he knew he shouldnt had done it but he couldnt help it his dreams had come true but also his nightmares as well
at that he made a vow they would be friends and only friends to protect her thats what he would do

 

Kiara felt more pressure on her. Why did Jecht leave her? Did he not really like her. She didn't understand, but in a few seconds she was back down on the ground. What was making her do this? it seemed that every time she got emotional this would happen.
"J...jecht," she said softly. She shut her eyes tightly and took in the torture she was being put through. She tried hard to take in air. She couldn't breathe at all.
"J..jecht, please help me," she tried to let out. She brought her hand up to reach out.

 

jecht could feel himself draining something he realised he was still connected t o kiara
jecht ran back to her horrified

"im so sorry this is my fault this always happens"

he hugged her trying to give back her strength

 

She hugged him back and tried to hold onto him. She didn't want to lose him again.
"Please don't go.. Stay here with me," she sobbed. She felt the force lifting up and
she felt easier to breathe, but what did it matter, it would probably happen again
soon.
"Please don't leave me," she continued to sob.

 

"i will to protect you from my curse"

jecht leaned his head back so that she could see his eye and scar glowing

"tell me kiara have you ever heard of demon eye jecht at all?"

 

"I told you. I can't remember anything much. I've heard of a demon eye but I never thought it was you," she said still holding onto him. She pulled herself back and sat up straight, still feeling overwhelmed.
"Maybe I should get back to the castle," she said feeling tired. She held her hand up to her forehead and yawned slightly.
"Will you please come with me. I don't want to lose you again," she said clinging onto him. She felt so selfish to ask the question, but she really wanted him to be with her. She kept her distance, but she still kept a hold of him.She didn't want to let go
"Please come back with me?" she asked looking up so that he could see her eyes tearful.

 

jecht looked at her he knew of the danger he was going to put her in but he didnt care
"i will but i will hide in the shadows but i will be there"
he leadened down and scooped her up
"you might want to hold on"
jecht jumped up onto the top of a building then from one to another

 

She smiled and leaned against him softly holding on, and right at the takeoff, she
felt her heart drop from evey jump he took. She held onto him tighter and shut
her eyes. She didn't dare look down at all. She breathed slowly to adjust
to the height and the quickness.
"How soon until we get there?" she asked. She felt herself more warily than she
expected and finally fell asleep. She could feel the wind and him jumping, which
made it feel like a rocking motion. She liked it.

 

jecht laughed at her
"you never were a big fan of hights hehe were just a bit farther"
jecht landed on the wall of the castle and he jumped to her balcany putting her
"and now for my next trick i will lead fair princess to her room"
he bowed jokingly
"just like old times"

 

She giggled and laughed. She could recall a memory and smiled.
"Jecht, could I ask you a question?" she asked. She felt the need to ask. She didn't
wait for an answer, so she went ahead and asked.
"I can recall a last time that I saw you, right before I lost my memory. I remember
standing at the entrance of the gate in the northern country city. Everyone was
running from something, and All I remember was that I lost you in the big crowd.
Then, I was just hit... That's all I know. You were there, please tell me what
happened. There is so much I want to know and it's hard for me to understand,"
she said.

 

jecht turned away saddness painted on his face
"i was hoping you wouldnt remember that"
jecht sighed and looked at his hand
"tell me kiara on you right arm is there three claw like scars on it?"

 

Kiara's eyes got wide. She felt her hand tremble but she pulled her arm up to view and pulled her sleeve down, showing the three marks. She pulled her arm down in a small shuddered gasp.

"How do you know about this?" she asked in a small whisper. Her voice felt unsteady and she felt limp, but she knew that this was only her acting paranoid.

"Who did this to me?" she asked once more. She was all full of questions. She balled her fist up and clenched hard against them. She felt the urge to just scream. What made her want to do this? Her emotions? But why?
She looked up strongly at Jecht.

"Please just tell me, what happened," she asked calmly. She felt angry, but wanted to stay calm.
