Eclipse: The City of Dreams

She let go of the hug and heard the loud scream. She knew who is was, the voice was recognizable. She turned around and looked down the forest path.
"Shigiku!!!!" She shouted out. She ran down the path, letting her hand slide off Jecht's. She ran as fast as she could until she got to the end. She slid out and started running up the street to her house.
"Whats going on?" she asked herself. She started panting as she began to tire out.
"What's happening?" she asked herself once more.She made it to the house where she dropped Shigiku off. She opeend the door and ran inside. She ran over to her and put her arms around her, in a hug.
"Whats wrong?" she asked her staying close.

 

Tears were running down Shigiku's face as she pointed towards the kitchen. There was blood everywhere... on the ceiling... all over the counter... on the floor... and lying right on the floor in the middle of the mess was her mother, all covered in blood. Shigiku didn't want to see it... she didn't want to believe it... yet she continued to stare at her mother, tears running down her cheeks. She wanted to run away... to go cry and just be alone... she wanted to forget about everything... she wanted her mother to be alive... but she couldn't seem to leave. Her body wouldn't move, and she stood there, frozen as she stared at her mother on the ground. "K-Kiara..." was the only thing she could manage to say.

 

Kiara looked behind her as shock came to her face. Even she wasn't able to say anything. She put her hand over Shigiku's eyes and picked her up in a hug.
"Hun you shouldn't see this," she said. She felt so horrible. She took her out of the kitchen and upstairs. She looked around until she saw a room that looked suitable for a small girl She knew it was her room. She put her on the bed and wiped the tears away from her eyes. She was worried that Shigiku might go into shock.
"Shigiku, are you okay sweetie?" she asked putting her hand on her cheek. She still felt so bad that such a young girl like that had to see such a sight. She frowned and felt as if she would cry herself, but she wanted to be strong for Shigiku.

 

OOC- I warned u it would be tragic... >_> lol...

When Kiara tried to take her up to her room, she struggled against her. "No! I-I can't leave my mom!!" she shouted as she cried, but Kiara got her up to her room eventually and Shigiku hugged her tightly, crying. She couldn't respond to her question. The image of her mom lying on the floor flashed through her mind. Why... she thought. Why did this have to happen...?! Of anything else that could've gone wrong! I'd rather be poor than have this happen!! she hugged Kiara tighter, crying. The tears fell down her cheeks and fell on the bed as she cried, but Shigiku didn't care. She couldn't take it... she was in emotional distress. She was sad that her mother was dead, angry at whoever had killed her, glad that Kiara was there, but confused as to exactly how she felt at the moment. She had no idea what to say, think, or do anymore. "Mama..." she muttered softly to herself through her tears.

 

OOC: aww, so sad.... this is making me all teary lol

BIC: Kiara felt heartbroken that she had suffered like this. She hugged her tightly back.
"I am so sorry Shigiku," she said, starting to cry herself. She rubbed her back hoping to comfort her. She wondered what would happen now. She had no mother now and she would end up alone. She sighed and wiped her tears away as she sat on the bed and kept her safe. She knew how hard this was for her, but she was just so young and she seemed so innocent.
"I'm sorry that I had to take you away, but you shouldn't have to see that sight. It's not something that you should ever see," she said then stood up.
"Sit here and I'll go get some guards to come. Don't go into the kitchen, please.. you shouldn't suffer anymore," she said.

 

OOC- i'm surprised I'm not crying right now... >_>

Shigiku sat on the bed and looked up at Kiara, tears still running down her cheeks silently. She looked up at her and then looked at her hands, nodding slowly. At the moment, she felt she couldn't really do anything else. She clentched her fists tight and closed her eyes as she felt the pain course through her hands from her nails against her skin. But she didn't care... all she cared about was getting revenge against whoever hurt her mother... even though she knew revenge was wrong.

 

Kiara put her hands against her hands and tried to get her to ease up.
"Hun don't hurt yourself.." she said softly. She patted her shoulder.
"I'll be right back," she said. She walked out of the room and headed to the front door. She made a quick glance in teh kitchen. Trying to see what exactly happened. She couldn't' really tell, but the aroma and site made her a little warily and sick. She took her leave for the moment. She ran outside and saw Brad on the sidewalk.
"Brad!!!!" she shouted out.

Brad noticed her and noticed that she was a little different.
"Whats going on?" he asked already convinced something was wrong. He made his way across the street.

"there is a litle girl in that house, and her mother was killed. Go keep an eye n her, and whatever you do, don't let her look in the kitchen.... It's too horrible," she said.

Brad nodded.
"I'll keep an eye on her. Should I be aware for whatever is in the kitchen?" he asked wondering how bad it was.

"Yeah..it's pretty bad. Her name is Shigiku and she already saw. Don't let her see again, I feel bad that she had to already see it. I'm going to go get some guards to investigate... Please, keep an eye out," she said then ran down the street towards the palace.

Brad turned to the house. He walked up onto the doorstep and opened the door. He looked around, avoiding the kitchen. He walked around until he found the room she was in. He knocked on the slightly opened door, to let her know he was here.
"Shigiku?" he asked opening the door a little more. He waited for an answer.

 

Shigiku let out a bit of breath in a small sigh and opened her hands, feeling the pain slowly fade. She looked at Kiara and nodded as she left and just stared at her hands, thinking. She looked up and saw Brad, but she didn't know who he was. She jumped up. Who is he...? she thought and then her eyes widened. Wait... could he be... She stared at him. "Go away!!" she shouted, thinking that he might be the person that killed her mother. She took a step back from the door, tears gently running down her cheeks and making a small sound as they landed on the floor. Her breathing had turning into short rasps of air as her fear increased.

 

Brad put his hands up to show he wasn't going to hurt her
"Don't worry!" he said softly. He knew she was scared.
"My name is Brad. Kiara told me to come here and check on you. She wants me to keep you safe. I won't hurt you," he said trying to be sweet and kind. He walked gently and slowly over to her. he held out his hand towards her.
"It's okay. Everything will be okay," he said


Kiara made her way to the palace. She ran through the gates and towards the guard tower. She ran and ran as fast as she could.
"Guards!" she shouted out hoping to get someone's attention. finally one came from a room and calmed her down. Kiara explained what happened and that she needed help. The guard then explained he would report and get some help over at the home. Kiara smiled and ran out of the palace and through Terrence, making herway back to Greenwood

 

Shigiku didn't say anything. She just stared at him. How am I suppossed to believe him...? she thought. He could be lying for all I know... he could be trying to manipulate me to do what he wants... he's tricking me... I just know he is... but what if he's not? Kiara could have really asked him to... but... Ugh! I'm so confused!!! She just stared at his hand and didn't say anything. She was paranoid at the moment and wasn't sure what she should do. She looked up at him a bit worridley, still unsure.

He noticed she was worried.
"I'll go away if you want me to," he said taking a step back. He didn't want to frighten her anymore. He felt a little bad that he made her more frightened.

Kiara finally made her way back into Greenwood. She ran down the street looking for the house once more. She found it and started running. She walk almost there until she felt something tug at her once more. It overwhelmed her. She tripped in the street and skidded down a few feet. It felt like something was on her, holding her down. She looked around and saw nothing. There was nothing there, but what could be holding her down? What force could be doing this to her. She tried to yell out, but it all soon vanished. She sat up noticing a few people staring at her. She didn't care She wanted to get back to the house. She stood up and ran into the house. Her arm was scratched up, but she hid it with her long shirt. She ran through the house back to Shigiku's room. She saw Brad and Shigiku.
"Brad whats wrong with her?" she asked noticing she looked worried.

"I'm not entirely sure, but i don't think she trusts me," he whispered back to her.

OOC: Why don't you read the posts? They're much easier than me explaining lol and they are very catchy :D If this was a story it would be outsold by now xD

 

Shigiku looked down, knowing she had made him feel bad. Wait... why do I care if he's sad? He could be the person who killed my mother! But then again he might not be... she thought and stood up. Then suddenly, she dashed out of the room, tears starting to fall down her face again. She wanted to be alone at the moment, so she ran out of the house and down the street. She knew that Kiara and Brad would probably chase her... and they would catch her... but she didn't care... all she wanted right now was to run as far away as possible.

OOC- hmm... maybe I will turn it into a story... XD XD

Kiara felt bad about the whole incident.
"I never should have asked you to come in here. That poor girl is so sad, and now she is alone. I'll go try and catch up with her. Talk to the guards once they get here," she sad to Brad.

"Okay. Let me know whats going to happen," he said then walked out the front door and onto the streets, waiting for the guards.

Kiara dashed out of the house and started running the way that Shigiku ran. She needed to catch up to her and make sure that she was okay.
"Shigiku! Wait up!" she called out. She caught up closer to her so that she could try and talk to her.

Recap: Shigiku started her first day of school today and while she was at school, Kiara found out that her and theat other guy (forgot his name >.<) are best friends from the past. Kiara ends up in a chase after that guy through the alleyways and Shigiku hears them, but when she hears a voice behind her she trips and sprains her ankle. Kiara helps Shigiku get back home, drops her off at her house, and then goes off to find the guy again. But Kiara heard a loud scream come from Shigiku's house and runs in to find her staring terrified at her dead mother on the floor. Kiara took her up to her bedroom and tried to comfort her, and then went to get some guards, leaving her friend Brad to look after her. But Shigiku doesn't trust Brad. While Kiara went to get help, some strange force pinned her to the ground on her way back and let go, but when she finally got back to Shigiku's house, the guards are on their way and Shigiku dashed out of the room and is now running down the street. THE END! XD

"Leave me alone!" Shigiku shouted and continued to run down the streets, tears running down her cheeks. Her fists were clenched and she ran as fast as she could, her head bent down. But she slowed down as she began to get tired quickly. She looked back at Kiara running and then looked ahead again, forcing herself to keep going. She wanted to run. To run away from what had happened and just forget about it. But she knew it was impossible... although she could try.

bic:kent saw people coming and dissapeared out of sight,he reappeared in the market and walked around,some people stared at him as he walked by like he was a freak but he paid no attention,he bought some stuff and left.when he was walking he saw a rabbit and kneeled,but it didnt run,it came to him and kent smiled with his eyes closed.he gave it a carrot and it ran off.kent then continued walking and saw 2 girls,he walked under a tree and stood there eating an orange,he was wondering what was happening.

BIC: Kiara kept running. She didn't want to leave her alone by herself. She wanted to stay with her.
"Shigiku please stop running, i don't want to dare leave you by yourself!" she said. She still ran, starting tire out. She continued to run until she became overwhelmed once more. She felt something just smash her down into the ground. Something was happening but she didn't know what. She couldn't breathe and she couldn't move at all. Something was stopping her, something didn't want her to help. She felt a large force close her airway off, and stiffen her muscles. She tried to let out a yelp or yell but it was impossible. She couldn't move an inch or budge. She just lay there on the ground feeling the force push her down onto the ground. She wanted it to be over. She wanted it to go away and leave her alone.
