Eclipse: The City of Dreams

jecht glanced back and saw that kiara had stopped running he raised hand and a orb of red energy apeared in front of her leading her to him
"this way come on please kiara"
he stood waiting hoping that she would come he started backing up

 

"Oh.yeah. I was just following someone," she answered. She saw the red orb and looked the way. She gasped softly and looked over at the small girl.
"I'll be right back," she said. She started walking down the alley way. She saw that he was visible. She stopped walking, trying to take in that this was real, not a fantasy.
"Jecht?" she asked, her voice a bit rasp.

 

"Um... okay..." Shigiku said and stood there. She was going to wait for Kiara to come back... but she got the urge to follow her. Slthough she didn't, because she found it disrespectful. No... I would lose all my pride... she thought and just decided to wait for her. But she once again thought she heard someone behind her and turned around. She saw a small light. Follow me... s voice said in her head and she suppressed a scream. Who are you...? she asked, confused. A friend... Come... the voice said as the light moved farther away. Shigiku stared at the light, feeling hypnotized, but she wasn't. Should I follow it...? she thought, thinking it might be dangerous. She took a step back from the light. Don't be afraid... i won't hurt you... the voice said warmly. Shigiku took another step back, afraid, and ended up tripping on a stick. "Ow!" she said and rubbed her ankle. She looked back up where she had seen the light but it was now gone. That was odd... she thought and tried to listen for the voice, but it was gone, too.

 

Kiara looked back at the small girl. She was inbetween two options now. She looked at Jecht.
"Sorry...kids come first in my life," she said then turned back. She walked towards the small girl. She bent down to her level and held her hand out.
"Are you okay dear?" she asked smiling. She saw her rub her ankel so she helped her up and kept her hold on her.
"Do you need any help?" he asked.

 

jecht made the orb go by her ear and made it so that she could hear him
"i understand if you want to find me ill be on ninth street ill be watching ...kiara"
he then turned and started running he turned a corner then back peddeled he saw a group of guys that he wouldnt put under his 'solid citizens' list heading straight at him

"well looky here its hero boy this is our turf meber"

"yea but i had some business in the area"
'' right ......hey guys looky there a couple of girls lets have some fun"

"i wouldnt if i were you" jecht shot forward punching the guy in the stomach sending him flying landing on one hand he spun kicking the other two goons he picked them up and thru them into a dumbster and left

 

Shigiku looked around but then looked up as Kiara came over to her and stood up with her help. She tried to stand straight, but winced when she tried to stand on her right foot and almost fell down. "I think I sprained my ankle..." she said and looked down at her ankle. She looked up at where the light was but saw that it was still gone. Did I imagine it...? she thought and stood quietly for a second, trying to hear for the voice in her head again, but could only hear silence. The voice... the light... were they both fake...? Or was it really trying to tell me something...? she thought and looked back at her ankle. It was a little swollen. That was weird... If I told anybody about it... they'd probably think I'm crazy... she thought. I guess I could just wait and see if it happens again... She saw Jecht over Kiara's shoulder and saw the guys approach him. She saw them talking for a bit and was a bit surprised when she saw him beat them up and throw them in the dumpster. Who is that guy? she wondered.

 

Kiara was a bit shaken from seeing the fight. She looked back at the small girl.
"I'd better get you home," she said. She took her hand and pulled her onto her back. She then began to walk out of the alleyway.
"So sweetie, where do you live?" she asked as she made her way out of the dark alleyway and onto the light street on Terrence.

 

Shigiku sheilded her eyes from the bright light as they emerged onto the street of Terrence. "I live in Green Wood..." she said and smiled, looking around. She's so kind... Shigiku thought. She looked around the city in amazement. She had been stuck at her house for the past week or so unpacking... so she hadn't been out to see the town that much since she came back to this place. It looks so much different... and it's been so long... I can hardly remember what the place used to look like... she thought and she looked at Kiara. She got a bit curious. "Kiara... who was that guy you were chasing?" she asked. She was actually wondering who he was, why she was chasing him, and how she had met him, but she felt that one question was enough. Besides, it wasn't any of her buisiness anyways.

 

She smiled.
"A friend of mine," she said. She didn't know if she wanted the whole story, but she decided to tell anyways.
"His name is Jecht. I don't really remember much about him, but he was a great friend of mine I think. I saw him earlier today in town, but i didn't get a chance to speak to him." she said. She got to the end of Terrence and made a shortcut through Lexicon. She walked down the street towards Greenwood.
"Anything else you want to know?" she asked sweetly.

 

jecht headed to his place opening the door he survaded the room taking in the beaten couch the sink full of dirty dishes the bed with no sheets and just a blanket to the tv that was so old he figured his great-great-grandfather probably had it first his head drooped

"great im gonna have to gulp clean"

he set to washing the dishes

 

Shigiku listened to what she said and smiled the entire time. She was amazed at this story... and it sounded more like a fairytale but it was real and she couldn't help but smile. "Nah..." she said, looking around at the new street they were on. It wasn't familiar to her because she had not taken that route to school. "Is this another way to get to Green Wood?" she asked, looking around at the unfamiliar place.

 

She smiled and nodded.
"Yes. This is Lexicon, the marketplace. Through the doors down there leads to the other side of Greenwood," she said. She continued walking until she saw some of her father's guards at the entrance. She frowned.
"They won't let me pass. Father forbids it," she said softly. She sighed and walked forward, hoping that they would let her in. She made it to the gate and sighed.
"I need to take this little girl home," she told them. The one nodded and opened the door. She smiled.
"Thank you," she said then walked on. She looked back at the small girl.
"So where do you live sweetie?" she asked

 

jecht moved aside a stack of dishes and saw something moldy getting his gauntlent out he poked it and a tenicale shot out wrapping around him and throwing him across the room
"ok that hurt"
he got up and shot daggers at it watching them sink into it he ran forward and cut the tenticale off and grabbed the thing which at that point jumped and grabbed his face

"aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh get it off of me gah"
he ripped it off and thru it out the window and fried it with aura

"well that was gross"

Shigiku looked at the guards as they approached the gate. She looked around the town and was actually quite amazed. This place is cool... she thought and smiled. I think I'm going to like this place... it certainly is better than the way it was... She looked around as it suddenly turned into familiar territory as they walked onto Green Wood and she tried to think. "Umm... there," she said and pointed to a big house.

BIC: Kiara took her to the large house. She smiled and pulled her down off her back.
"Do you think you can walk?" she asked. she looked down the street and down the other side. She wanted to go meet him urgently. She smiled at her.
"What is your name by the way?" she asked the small girl. It seems that she knew her, but Kiara didn't know her.

 

OOC- don't make her go away though cuz some1 is gonna need to be there for that little girl... >_> just tellin ya... lol... >.< I'm gonna feel bad about doing something tragic like this... but I'm in an evil mood... >_> OMG CUPCAKES ROCK! XD XD

Shigiku smiled at her and tried to stand. She winced as it stung a little but smile. The pain wasn't as bad as it had been. "Yeah... I can walk..." she said. "Thank you for helping me..." she listened to her next question. "Oh! I'm sorry... I'm Shigiku..." she said and smiled. "Nice to meet you..."

BIC: Kiara smiled.
"It was very nice to meet you Shigiku. I must take my leave for now. I'll be back soon to help you out. Bye darling," she said then took off down the streets. She ran through a forest area that was in teh middle of the city. She knew it would lead to ninth street. She ran as fast as she could untile she felt something tug at her. Something grabbed her and was hurting her. Maybe it was someone. Everything happened to fast for her to know what was going on. She could just see that she was so close to ninth street. She let out a painful yell trying to get out of whoever had a hold of her.

 

jecht looked up he had heard kiara scream nearby he bolted out of his door to see her being pulled by something he ran forward and focus aura into his hand making glow red
"get down kiara"
he jumped over her punching what ever it was that had her
"come on lets go" he said taking her hand

 

She turned around seeing nothing there.
"Hold on," she said. She looked around seeing nothing. What was it that got her? She didn't know.
"There's no one here," she said softly. She turned back to Jecht and noticed he was holding her hand. Before he could get away, which she thought he might, she pulled him into a hug.
"Jecht!" she said happily. She didn't want this moment to end. She felt happy, and felt whole once more. She felt like her life just became connected

 

OOC- okay... but I'm still going to start unfolding my plan now... :D

Shigiku waved and walked up to the front door of her home, taking a key out of her pocket and using it to unlock the door. She removed the key and jerked on the handle, causing the door to open. She stepped inside and gently closed the door behind her, wiping her feet on the mat as she came in. She then removed her shoes and placed them next to the door. She ran up to her room and put her backpack on her bed, but something didn't seem quite right. It felt like something was wrong... or something was... following her... She shook her head to snap out of it and walked down the stairs. "Mama! I'm home from school!" she said and walked into the living room. There wasn't anybody there. Maybe she went to get groceries... Shigiku thought. I'll just get a snack and start on my homework, then... she walked into the kitchen and suddenly stopped when she reached it. Her eyes were wide and she stood very still, completely shocked. Suddenly, she let out a bloodcurling scream. What the h*ll happened?! she thought at the exact moment she screamed, completely petrified.
