Eclipse: The City of Dreams

jecht ran to kaira guarding her
"ok heres the plan from now on im staying by your side cause you seem to be
a magnet for trouble yah now?"
he turn looking at her smiling he thought of all the times before that he had done this

 

One thing was engraved in Laith's mind. The princess and her charge must not be harmed. So when he saw Jecht run up to her he snarled fiercely, like a wolf defending its pups. He couldn't know that Jecht was there to protect her. Running at him, Laith swiped his face, leaving two gashes.
"Get away from the princess you a*shole!!!" his voice was even fiercer now.
He crouched on all fours, ready to attack him. Now Laith was positioned in front of the princess. He was ready. Somewhere in his mind another Laith called.
We shouldn't be doing this, what if we hurt the princess or that girl?
I won't hurt the girl, I'm with you remember? Ok so don't hurt the princess or girl, right?
Well...yeah ok thats good

jecht spun around sword in hand
"if your after kiara i wont let you take her"
he crouched down but sensed something strange about the person he was facing
"who are you?"

 

"You won't hurt her!!!"
Laith sank lower in his crouch bit winced. This newly found power was hurting him. Cuts were appearing on his skin. He sank to the ground, clutching his shoulder, still growling fiercely. He would protect her till death.
"I won't let you hurt her, you will have to kill me before you kill her."
This isn't good.

 

Shigiku jumped back after she'd attacked Jacky. However, she wasn't through yet. Her eyes continued to glow a bright, pink color and she gripped the staff tightly in her hands.
Quickly, she ran straight towards Jacky. However, when she was right in front of him, she quickly flash stepped behind him. She then let out a yell of anger as she shot as much power at him as she could in one blast of aura. Then, she jumped back to see what she had done, ready to attack again if she needed to.

 

"kiara run please"
jechts hands mophed into claws and he lunged for laith
"you wont take my girlfriend away"
he raised one of his claws aura glowing in it

 

Suddenly one word got through to him. Girlfriend. Relief coursed into him and he stood taller, the old self coming back but the new appearance staying. "Girlfriend? So you're NOT trying to hurt her," he asked. "I'm not trying to hurt her, I was trying to PROTECT her, from...you," he rubbed his neck uncomfortably.

((I gotta improve a bit so we can get out))

Laith saw Jacky getting more powerful and turned to Jecht. "We gotta get the girls out now!!You get the princess and I'll get Shigiku," he said. Laith whirled and grabbed Shigiku. "Please don't hurt me," he said as he ran off into the woods, leading Jecht to a secret place he knew about.

BIC:

Jacky chuckled uncomfortably, and let the fire burn him into the air. He was in the air. He could do whatever he needed. Without being seen. He could attack at any time and no one would know. And he knew just the person to start with... Kiara... She would pay for what she'd done to him those couple years ago, and he wouldn't rest until she did. He moved around the air and straight at Kiara, making his way to block her breath

Kiara looked as he'd vanished. Her first thought was that he gave up, but when she noticed her throat started to tighten, she knew it was him.
"Of course! The air!" she thought. She held her hand up to the hollow base of her throat where it tightened. She tried to gasp, but nothing would let her. She held both hands up in a choking motion. She dropped to her knees and let out a painful cry.

 

jecht turned to where jacky was death in his eyes
"let her go"
he walked toward him not affected
"cause see i dont really breath like every one else"

 

Laith set down Shigiku and ran back. He took a breath, steeled himself, and jumped through the fire. It singed him a bit but didn't hurt as much as he thought. He went to take in a breath, but couldn't, there was no air. Quickly, he grabbed the princess's hand and dove for the outer wall of fire, this time they went through it so fast it was just warm.

 

Jacky could feel Kiara on the move, so he went along with her. He cackled loudly, enough for them to hear. It seemed as if he was getting exactly what he wanted.
"Silly human," he said, referring to Laith. He cackled more.
"Give me one good reason, why i shouldn't' kill her now!" he screamed, tightening his grip on Kiara's throat

Kiara took a big gasp as she felt her throat tightened. She let out a small cry, as her face turned slightly purple from the lack of oxygen.
"Please...Jacky... Stop," She said, finally feeling the warm tears run down her face.

 

"because if you kill her you release an anceint evil more horrible than your worse nightmare .......but you wont live long enough to cause ill kill you first"
he lunged for him grabbing him siinking his claws into him and began to pull his aura out of him

 

Jacky felt himself being pulled. He cackled more and tightened up to the point where Kiara was only one move from never breathing again.
"Keep pulling, and you'll only hurt her more." He lied though. Holding on was the only thing that would keep himself on her. If he was pulled far enough, he would let loose and go back to his regular form.

Kiara felt it tighten, but loosen at the same time. She cold breath a little better, but it was still hard.

 

"you have to let go first"
jecht dug deeper
"trust me you have no idea who you are dealing with"
his scar glowed and made it so jacky could see the demon in jecht

 

Jacky finally broke loose, and took a deep sigh. He wouldn't dare wait to kill her tonight, he would have to some other time, when she was alone. He cackled softly and left the area, going to re plan his next strategy.

Kiara felt the tightness erase, as if it wasn't there. She coughed slowly, keeping on her knees. She held her hand at the hollow base of her throat and she breathed in softly. She looked back up at Jecht, tears in her eyes. She felt like breaking down, and crying. All her thoughts focused on him at the moment. She was ready to just...Fall, collapse, whichever worked for her, but she was glad that he was gone, and that Jecht was there to protect her. She felt herself lay down on the ground and she closed her eyes, feeling so much pressure in her, she decided to give up on staying awake. She would rather stay there. But she got worried. She hoped that Jecht wouldn't leave her, but now she was too tired to open her eyes back up.

 

jecht released jacky
"now leave and dont return cause next time"
his eyes glowed red
"i will kill you"
he turned and walked over to kiara he kneeled next to her
"you ok?"

 

She shook her head, which she felt was the only thing that she could do. She let out a sigh as it felt nice to be able to breathe again. She tried softly to open her eyes. She only saw him. Jecht... Her eyes a little foggy and unclear she could barely see him. She even felt dizzy.
"I'm just a little dizzy.. I'll be fine," She said. She tried to sit up, but an instant headache came into her head. She let out a small gasp, which wasn't so loud and she held her hand over her head.
"I feel like i was hit by a train," she scoffed as she tried to recollect what really happened.

 

jecht helped her to lie back
"just take it easy"
he didnt want anything worse to happen to her
"just take small breaths"

 

Laith lay pressed into the dirt, still coughing. He felt a pain in his side and turned his head to, see a large cut. Only a few drops of blood dripped out but it kinda hurt. He wondered how he had gotten it but suddenly he remembered. The gang that had mugged him. He continued wheezing, trying to master his asthma. It was slowly overcoming him and panic welled up.

 

Shigiku was not happy when Laithe grabbed her. "Let go of me!" She shouted, her eyes still glowing a bright pink. However, once he set her down, she immediately stood up and her whole body englufed with a pink, auric flame. A bright, blue sword soon formed in her hands and she ran straight back to where they were, not paying attention to anything around her. Immediately, she ran up to Laith and attacked him with her sword. She was in a trance again, so she couldn't control what she was doing.
