Eclipse: The City of Dreams

jecht looked at her
"a little bit better ......where is you dad?"

jecht looked around anxiously

 

She looked around.
"I think we left him outside," she said. She ran over to the windows unlocking them. She stepped out on the balcony and looked over to see if her dad was there. Apparently he wasn't. He probably fled away from Jacky. But who wouldn't? She forgot the reason she locked the windows until she felt an enormus amount of heat come in front of her. She ducked down as the fire missed her head. She ran back into her room, locking her windows again.

 

Shigiku looked up at Jecht as he came in. She let out a sigh of relief. Okay... so he was the one who knowcked over the flower pot... She thought, relieved. But when the flames came through the window, she let out a squeal and jumped back, frightened. I guess that means we're trapped in here, then... She thought and winced as the pain in her chest grew worse. She coughed hard and then collapsed, both of her hands at her chest and her eyes closed tightly.

 

Kiara ran over to Shigiku, pulling her up into her arms. She looked back at the window and at her doorway. She looked over at Jecht and took a deep breath.
"I have to take her to the river. I'll take the tunnels out of here, so you'll know where I'm going," she said. She held onto Shigiku closely and looked down at her.
"You ready to go to the river?" she asked as she walked behind her bed, pulling a rope out, having some sort of idea.

 

Once the coughin stopped, Shigiku felt less pain in her chest and she opened her eyes, relaxing her muscles. She nodded. "Yeah..." She said. "But how are we gonna get out of here with Jacky still out there...?" She asked, glancing at the window nervously. She then noticed that she had taken a rope out from behind the bed. Are we going to go through a secret place or something...? She thought, remembering that she had heard Kiara say something about a tunnel. She hadn't really been paying attention, though.

 

Kiara opened the door to her room and headed out. She kept the rope across her chest and held Shigiku in her arms.
"There's a tunnel in the east corridor that leads the the forest. We should be able to get out, if Jacky doesn't follow us," she said. She walked through the main entrance towards the east corridor. She knocked on the wall, listening for anything other than a solid thump.

 

"Oh..." shigiku said and closed her eyes tightly once her chest began to hurt again. Once again, she coughed and made sure that she covered her mouth. We've got to get there before I pass out... or else I won't be able to jump in the river... She thought and opened her eyes again. I'll do my best not to pass out... but if I lose much more blood, then I won't be able to help it... She looked up a Kiara, and she couldn't help but smile. She's exactly how my mother used to be... She thought and looked forward. If she weren't here... I don't know what I'd do...

 

jecht watched them go then turned looking for jacky he wasnt
gonna let him hurt them

"yo flame head come out and fight me!"

jecht drew a sword he had picked up

 

Kiara knocked on more of the wall until she heard a different sound other than a thump. It sounded hollow. She kicked it and it opened up . She slid the door to the side and looked down the dark gaping hole. She took a deep breath. She set Shigiku down on the ground.
"Hold on, I need to go tie this to the wall. It's a good 50 feet drop if i don't secure it" she said. She found the hook on the hole and wrapped the rope around it. She stood straight up and turned around, only to be choked.

Jacky stood in front of her now, as he grabbed her by the throat holding her over the gaping hole that was a long drop.
"You wanna go down the hole?" he asked sneerfully.

Kiara attempted to make a yell, but it was hard to.

 

jecht spun around pulling jacky off of kiara and throughing him out catching her at the same time
"you know we have to stop meeting like this"
he put her down and faced jacky

"go ill stop him"

 

Jacky chuckled and took out his sword. He engulfed it in flames.
"First I'm gonna leave you halfway dead. Then, I'm gonna kill your girlfriend, slowly piercing her heart with this blade, and I'll make you watch her as she dies," he said sneerfully.


Kiara took a deep breath and took a step back, falling backwards into the tunnel's opening. She grabbed the rope and took a deep breath. as she pulled herself up.
"Jecht be careful!" she said, still climbin g up to get Shigiku.

Jacky looked at the rope, and shot fire at the rope, hitting it directly. He wanted to spruce things up a bit.

 

jecht swung his blade over it putting the rope out

"dont test me or you will get my bad side"

he looked at jacky both of his eyes demonic now his sword engulfed in aura
"kaira keep going"
he shot toward jacky knocking him flying he swung his tail into him

Aaron jumps down from above.
He's directly positioned over Jacky.
He cried out in a strange distorted voice, "Can't let you do that"
Aaron's fist turned into pure ice and he punched downwards.
He released all of his energy.

 

Jacky took a measly step backwards dodging the attack.
"Wow, that was a waste of a speech," he said then engulfed his sword in flames
"You can't let me kill the princess? She's of nothing to you," he said. He ran towards the rope Kiara was on. He took his sword and put the tip on the rope.
"One false move and I'll cut this rope... And don't test me, I'd do it even if my life were depending on it," he sneered

Kiara's heart pounded as she heard the whole conversation.
"Shigiku Jump We'll make it down together!" she shouted.

 

Shigiku coughed up more blood and clutched her stomach with one hand. However, she did her best to keep from collapsing. Looking down into the hole, she felt fear starting to build inside of her. Wouldn't they get hurt...? Taking a deep breath, Shigiku moved over to the edge. Closing her eyes, she did as Kiara said and jumped over the edge. She let out a scream as she felt herself falling. This was one of the most dangerous things she had ever attempted. She could feel herself trembling as well.

Shane suddenly came up behind Jacky and pulled him away from the rope. Quickly, he placed a sword to his throat, trying to keep him away from Shigiku and Kiara. Despite how small he was, he had a pretty strong grip on him.

 

jecht took out a few daggers ready to throw at jacky
"you will not hurt kiara if you dont want armeggedon to come early"

a shadow seemed to appearre behind jecht then dissapeare

 

Aaron sneered as his entire body was getting covered by ice.
"Waste of speech, huh?" The ice started forming smooth armor as hard as steel.
"I should say the same to you" Aaron disappeared in an instant.
A voice rung in Aaron's head, Remember...I Have Given You All Of My Powers To Teach You, You Have To Use Them Wisely.
Aaron spoke back to it, I got it

 

jecht ran over to the side of the pit
"kaira are you ok down there?" he yelled down
he then turned his back to the pit facing jacky
"you really are a pathetic person you know that"

 

Kiara looked up seeing Shigiku jump. She smiled and put her feet to the side of the wall, kicking herself to the middle of the pit. There she caught Shigiku. On impact, her grip slipped. She let out a scream. She held on close to Shigiku.
Her heart started pounding and she grabbed the rope, trying her best to stop herself.
"Hold on!" she shouted. She needed both hands to stop them. Her one hand held onto Shigiku, and the other was getting rope burned.

Jacky looked at Jecht.
"You do realize that at this very instant, they're falling to their death?" He said then quickly darted at him, grabbing him and throwing him into the wall. He leaned back and shut the door to the secret passageway, and got his sword out, burning it into the wall so it wouldn't open again. He chuckled.

 

Shane's eyes widened as he saw Jacky shut the passage way. He held the sword closer to his throat. "That was a foolish move..." he said.

Shigiku screamed and held onto Kiara tightly. She didn't know what to do. Tears streamed down her face as they fell, faster and faster. She winced when she saw Kiara's hand getting burned. Then, she had an idea. Quickly, she hung on to Kiara's neck, but not choking her. "Kiara... I can hold on myself... grab onto the rope!" She said, hoping that would help. She winced at the pain in her chest.
