Eclipse: The City of Dreams

Shigiku just blinked and stared up at Kiara blankly. "How do you know my name...?" she asked, a bit scared. What does she mean, 'We're almost there'...? Where is she taking me...? Shigiku thought and looked up at the sky, trying to stay as still as possible. Her whole body ached because of the burns. What in the world could I have gotten myself into that made me get hurt this badly...? She looked back at Kiara. There's one thing I REALLY want to know... why can't I remember anything...? You would think I'd know what happened if I got hurt this badly...

Zach heard a yell down the street from where he was. He ran to the source, noticing a guy limping away from two men who didn't seem too happy with each other.
"Hey, what's going on?" he asked, not to anyone in particular, casually walking around the two until he was a moderate distance between them and the injured man. Zach looked over his shoulder at the man when he suddenly collapsed, and rushed over to him, reaching out a hand to help him up.

 

Kiara smiled at Shigiku.
"Hmm. That heat must've gotten to you pretty bad," she said softly. She was still worried about Shigiku.
"Well, let's see. Where to start," she said softly. She didn't know whether to start with she is just a friend or that she met her in the alleyway chasing someone. She decided to take the easiest route. The full truth.
"Well Shigiku... My name is Kiara. I'm the princess of this city, and you found me wandering around an alleyway. You tripped backwards and I helped you home. We've been really good friends ever since," she said smiling.

 

Shigiku blinked. "Oh..." she said. I made friends with a princess...? Yeah right... I'm probably dreaming or something... she thought and closed her eyes, but her body ached, like it was on fire. These burns are really bad... and they feel so real... This is really starting to creep me out... She opened her eyes again. I guess I should find out what's going on... she thought and looked up at Kiara. "Wait... where are my parents...?" she asked, looking around. Her parents would never let her walk around with somebody they hadn't met... or had they already met her...? Shigiku put a hand to her head, a weird feeling forming as she started to remember a little bit. Wait a sec... Kiara helped me in the alleyway... when she was chasing after that guy... and that weird light I saw... and those voices... maybe I'm not dreaming... she thought.

Shane just watched as Aaron walked away. Okay... that was odd... he thought and started walking away. He had a few bruises but it didn't really bother him that much.

 

Aaron crawled forward trying to get to the gate he saw.
He forced himself to go forward but he was almost out of energy.
A little bit of blood came down from his lip on to the ground.
Some blood came from the gashes he got from being hit in one spot too many times.
He reached the gate and knocked weakly on it, saying, "Help...Help me..."

 

"Oh," Kiara said. She'd have to tell her about her mother. But she felt so horrible that it had to happen. She took a deep breath.
"This will be hard to explain" she thought, still trying to think up of some way.
"Well, sweetie... I don't know about your dad...but your mom, isn't here anymore hun. She was....killed," she said hoping not to make it sound bad , but she did it to make it sound real.

 

Shigiku's eyes suddenly shot open and she stared up at Kiara, in complete shock. "W-What...?!" she asked, feeling herself trembeling a bit. My mom was... killed?! There's no way... She's at home... I-I know she is! It isn't possible! she thought as tears started to fill in her eyes. Please let this be a joke... Mama wouldn't just leave me like that... She blinked to hold back the tears. She found it was harder to breathe, but she could remember a little bit more now. Oh yeah... I sprained my ankle when I tripped... and Kiara took me home... but when I got there... she felt a tear fall down her cheek.

 

Kiara took Shigiku up to her room.
"Shigiku, are you okay?" she asked, seeing the tears fall down. She set her on the bed gently.
"Hold on a second," she said walking into her washroom. She took a bowl and put some cold water in it, with a small cloth to help her burns. She brought it back into her room and set it on the table in her room. She dipped the cloth in the water and laid it gently on her burns on her arms. for a few seconds. She tried to be very gentle.

 

Shigiku just laid there for a second, not awnsering. But then she reached up and wiped away the tear, smiling a little. "Yeah... I'm fine..." she said and winced a little when the cold rag touched her burns, but she had to admit that it did make them feel better. Although, she was still curious... and she couldn't seem to remember. "How did I get so burned...?" she asked, thinking hard as she tried to remember. All she could remember the face of some guy... She didn't know what his name was though... (The guy was Jacky :3)

 

"Umm..." she tried to think hard...It was so difficult to tell this to someone so young.
"Well...someone named 'Jacky' has a fire sword, and thus, he can control fire. He made a large fire ring around you, so he could try and abduct me. But I wouldn't allow it. So I woke up seeing myself over his shoulder. I got off, and he ran away like a coward. He even left the fire going. So, Shane.... umm. He ran in and grabbed you, as my friend Brad swung his blade and made an air pocket for Shane to get out. HE pulled you out to safety," she said.

 

Shigiku blinked. She finally remembered everything that had happened... up to the point where she had passed out. Shane saved me...? What happened to him then...? She thought and looked up at Kiara. "Oh yeah..." she said. "I remember now... But wait... what happened to Shane, then?" she asked. "Is he okay?!" She started to get worried. He's a jerk... Yet, I'm really worried about him... she thought. Didn't he get burned...? He might need help...

 

Kiara took a deep breath, and dipped the cloth back in the cool water.
"Shane... I'm not entirely sure what happened with him," she said taking the cloth and putting it back on her other arm to treat the burns.
"As soon as he saved you, I ran next to him and he gave me you, then took off... I do know this, he really does love you sweetie," she said

 

Shigiku winced as the cold rag once again touched her burns gently, and she let out a breath of air. She looked up at Kiara. Then, she looked down. He really likes me that much...? she thought. Then why don't I feel the same way for him...? she wondered. Even though I don't feel the same... I shouldn't have treated him like that... he was only trying to help... she thought, remembering when he had kissed her to get her out of her "trance". And he saved me... I need to go talk to him...

OOC- I just slammed my finger in my bedroom door T.T

 

Aaron started hitting the gate even harder, "Help Me!"
His fist started to bleed, but he kept on going.
It was tiring him out, but he used his other arm when his right arm got tired.
Eventually, he strained both of his arms, both of his fists bleeding.
Aaron started using his head and started crying, "Help...help me..."

 

Zach looked over at Aaron worriedly, and his wounds' bleeding slowed.
"If you say..." he responded, and struck the lock of the gate repeatdly with his sword; after a total of four hits the chain broke ang the gate sprung open.
"You... probably need help getting in...." he commented, reaching his hand out to the man to help him.

 

Aaron looked in front and started having hallucinations of inhuman beings being in their, coming after him.
He screamed and tried to crawl away.

"Kid, you still owe me..." The guy from earlier had an Iron pole now and started beting him with it.

Aaron screamed from the top of his lungs.

 

Shigiku suddenly looked up as she heard a screaming outside. She sat up immediately. "What was that?!" she asked and then let out a yell of pain. She had sat up to quickly. The pain from her burns shocked through her body. Dang it... she thought and laid back down, taking a deep breath to calm down. She looked towards the window. I could've sworn that I heard a scream just now... she thought. I hope nobody's hurt...

 

Kiara pushed Shigiku back slowly.
"Stay here, I'll go see what's going on," she said. She moved over to her window and looked into the streets, seeing that boy who tried to help her. He was being hurt. She held her hands up to her lips.
"Shigiku, stay here, and keep that cloth over your burns," she said. She ignored her own. She didn't have the time. She hopped out of her window into a tree. She swung back and landed on the streets. She ran over and in front of the boy.
"Leave him alone," she said. She stood in a fighting position. She was angry, and she didn't need any sass from someone hitting someone when they were defenseless.

 

Shigiku blinked and didn't say anything. She didn't want to stay behind while she helped... because something might happen. Shigiku wanted to help , too, but Kiara had told her to stay put. It doesn't matter... somebody's in danger... and I should help... she thought and stood up off of the bed, ignoring the pain to the best of her ability. She then ran out the door and headed outside. She suddenly stopped running and froze when she saw Shane running to help as well.

Shane had seen him getting hurt and went to help. "I thought I told you to leave him alone!" Shane shouted and ran up to the guy, kicking him hard in the shin.

 

OOC: Dude, you're ignoring me. Please stop,

IC: "What the hell!" Zach exclaimed before jumping in with his sword to stop the attacks. He defended the guy, until the man stopped.
"What's your problem?! I should call the Guards on you!" Zach gave Aaron a second worried glance before turning back towards the Shopkeeper, ready for another strike.
