Eclipse: The City of Dreams

jecht glanced over at brad
"so kiara what do you want to do now i know this great coffie shop"
he felt something move in the back of his mind but
he shoved it back and ignored it

 

Kiara sighed.
"I'm going to stay here with Shigiku for a while.. Maybe later. I just want to make sure she is okay," Kiara said. She looked over at Shigiku. She was a little curious
"Is something wrong?" she asked.

Brad looked closer at her.
"I think I'll go run some chemical tests on the bullet," he said. He took his leave quickly.

 

Shigiku looked up at Kiara. She calmed down a little and her breathing returned to normal. "N-No..." she said to Kiara, bluffing. Those two voices were really starting to bug her... who were they? And why did they want? More importantly... what should she do if she encounters them again? She bluffed to Kiara because she didn't want her to worry... snd she was pretty sure she could just shake it off and forget about it... or at least she could try.

 

Kiara sighed and sat on the side of the bed pushing her hair out of her eyes.
"Shigiku, now is the time to really let me know what is going on. Something is troubling
you, i can feel it.
Please tell me what is going on. Maybe i can help you?" she asked. She wanted what
was best for her, and she wanted to make sure she was okay. She was so small, and
she was just a little girl.

Shigiku looked at Kiara but then looked down at her hands in her lap. "I don't know what's wrong..." she said. "Someone... or something... keeps talking to me..." she knew Kiara probably wouldn't understand so she kept explaining. "These voices... they keep getting inside my head... and there's two of them... but I don't know who they are... One of them is invisible, I think... and I think the other one was some really bright thing..." She looked back at Kiara... wondering if she would believe her. Shigiku's story sounded so fake that she doubted Kiara would believe her.

 

Kiara didn't know whether to believe the story. IT was hard to believe, but it was quiet possible. Her imagination could be playing tricks on her along with her mind, but it might not be.
"Shigiku, i'm not sure what the story exactly is and how it started but, maybe your mind is taking you places, from the shock of your mother. I'm not saying that i do not believe you, it is quiet possible. Maybe you should rest for a while. I need to go back into town and meet up with my father. He is expecting me to come back. If you ever need me, please call me," she said reaching her a small phone.
"I'm on the list so I'll be back as soon as possible," she said smiling.

 

Shigiku looked down. I knew it... she thought. No one would ever believe me... they all think I'm just making things up... Shigiku knew that Kiara didn't believe her... it was obvious. Nobody would believe a story like that... But she quickly looked up when she heard Kiara say that she was leaving... She didn't want to be left alone... what if something happened...? But her father was the king... and if he wanted her to go back then she should probably go back... Shigiku slowly nodded. "Okay..." was all that she said.

 

OOC: I added a new Character ^^

BIC:
"Shigiku, I can stay if you want me to. My father can wait. I would rather stay here since something keeps on bothering you," she said


Jacky stood in the middle of Terrance, looking around the filled streets.
"I know you're here. I can feel it," he said low in a growl. He started running towards the end of the street at the old building. He sensed her there.
"Heh, i can already see you there," he growled

"I already told you what was bothering me..." she said, still staring at her hands. She looked up and smiled. "If you're suppossed to be going back then you probably should... I'll be okay..." she said. She would actually be just fine... she could defend herself... and Brad was in the other room... right? So nothing could really go wrong at the moment... But then she heard a voice in her head. Shigiku... you have to get out of there! Something is coming! Take Kiara with you! it said. Shigiku's eyes widened. "Kiara... something's coming..." she said. "The voice in my head said so..."

Kiara's eyes got a little wider.
"Whats coming?" she asked. She felt uneasy as she could sense something wrong too.

Jacky made it to the building, as he took his katana out. Fire engulfed around it. a sincere grin on his face.
"Burn in hell," he said then swung his sword, setting the building on fire. He swung a few more times on the sides of the building just to make it seem more dramatic. He then walked up to the building kicking the door. He then looked around at the children, with another smirk. He swung his sword a few more times, burning the walls.

 

Go! the voice shouted. And without thinking, Shigiku quickly hopped up from the bed and grabbed Kiara by the wrist. She took Kiara to the back door of the place and was following directions that the voice was giving her. Go towards the woods! I'll meet you there... it said and Shigiku ran out the back door, still running. She started to head towards the forest. "C'mon!" Shigiku said but as she was running she stole a glance behind her and stopped running as she saw the building was on fire. "Wha- ?!" she froze, her eyes wide as she started at the building. What are you doing?! You don't have time! Keep going!! the voice said but Shigiku couldn't bring herself to move... the site reminded her of when she saw her mother... but this time it was all of these people... these kids...

 

Kiara stared at the building, frozen in her exact spot. She knew only one person to make a fire spread that quickly. She felt like passing out, like just dropping and wanting everything over. But she didn't. She wouldn't let herself become useless at such a bad time.
"Jacky," she said quickly in a whisper. She took off back into the building.
"I have to help those kids," she shouted as she ran back in the house.


Jacky walked through the building with a smirk.
"Kiaaraaaaaa," he said in a tone that was a little musical note. As if he were singing her name.

Kiara finally made it to the main room, where all the kids were. She saw Jacky, and immediately froze in fear.
"Kids get out now!" she yelled. She waited for the kids to run out the back door, before she looked back at Jacky. She made sure the last kid got out, but when she turned to face Jacky, she felt a big thwack go into her right cheek, as she turned and landed on the floor with a loud thud

Jacky used the end of his sword and hit her with it. He made a ring of fire surround her.
"Oh, how I have waited...for this day," he said grimly.

 

"Kiara! Wait!" Shigiku said and ran after her. She followed as quickly as she could behind but froze in fear when she saw Jacky hit Kiara. She looked at Kiara, surrounded by a ring of fire and it felt just the same... just the same as her mother... And she stared in horror... she didn't want a replay of that... She clenched her fists as she stared at Jacky and then closed her eyes. A few moments later she opened them, but something was different... they weren't their usual color... they were red... Oh no... this is bad... the voice said and faded away. Shigiku's hands started to glow with a bright red aura as she felt herself get angrier and she ran straight at Jacky, punching him as hard as she could. "Leave Kiara alone!" she shouted... but her voice sounded different, too.

 

Jacky backed up as he pointed his katana at her.
"What is with this kid?" he thought. He made his sword engulf with fire once more.
"Kid you better step aside," he said. HE didn't want to waste anytime. Kiara was right there... His chance, was right there.

Kiara sat up, getting more dizzier from the heat of the fire around her. She rubbed her cheek, but it hurt so badly.
"Shigiku, get out now," she said before collapsing.

brad came running out of the room as he ran into the main room. He saw Jacky.
"Not you again," he said shocked. He looked over at Shigiku. Her eyes seemed different, then he looked over at Kiara. He got out his katana and pointed them towards the ring of fire. He swung his sword and made a clash of water extinguish it out. He then looked around, waiting for the next move

 

"No..." Shigiku said sternly to Kiara, the red aura that was now engulfing her hands spread up her arm, and her eyes grew brighter. She once again charged at Jacky and was about to attack, but before she could, a man dashed through the door an stood in front of Shigiku, blocking her punch with a blue staff that was in his hands. Shigiku was angry at this... why did he block her attack?! It would have hit head on! "Shigiku... snap out of it... pull yourself together!" the man said. "You have to break free!"
She just stared at him, not knowing what he meant, but she didn't have time. This guy had hurt Kiara... and she wanted to help. "Get out of my way..." she said and ran past him, trying to punch Jacky once again.

Jacky grabbed her fist and didn't let go
"girl, what do you think you are trying to do? Hurt me!? You won't succeed," he said. HE took his hand and grabbed her by the neck, squeezing tightly and pulling her off the ground.
"Beg for me," he said grimly.
"Beg and I'll make your death painless and quick," he said with a sinister smile.

"Leave her alone!" Brad yelled as he got stuck his katana out at him.

 

Shigiku's eyes suddenly turned pitch black and she gave an evil grin. A sudden burst of energ came from her body, making it so that she could easily break free from his grip. She fell lightly to the ground... still grinning. "You think that you can kill me like that...? You're foolish..." She laughed and a black aura was now surrounding her entire body.

The man's eyes widened. "N-No..." he said. "It's almost too late..." He gripped his staff tightly. "Shigiku! You have to fight back!" he shouted and started to mouth a spell.

Shigiku turned her head to look at him. "Quiet!" she shouted and aura shot out from her hand and made him fly up against a wall.

"Shigiku... listen to me.. I know you're in there somewhere..." he said and tried the spell again.

 

Kiara opened her eyes softly.... She looked as the building was burning much quicker. She looked at Shigiku. She wanted her back.
"Shigiku..." Kiara yelled out as she tried to sit up, but failed. She looked at Jacky.
"Jacky, don't you dare touch her! I'll kill you!" she shouted, as she lay there on the ground.

Jacky grinned.
"Not before I kill you first he yelled then threw his katana at her directly.

Kiara curled up in a ball, expecting to be hit by the katana. She whimpered, but noticed something didn't feel right. She heard another katana clash against it.

"Don't you dare hurt her," Brad said as he stood in front of her.
"Somethings wrong with Shigiku, try and talk to her," Brad said under his breath to Kiara.

"Shigiku!" Kiara called out, tears forming in her eyes. She stretched her hand out for her.

 

The man stood up, gripping the staff tightly. "Byakugara!" he shouted and stabbed the bottom of his staff into the gournd.

Suddenly, Shigiku's eyes widened and she began to scream. "Make it stop!!" she shouted, tears running down her face. She fell to her knees as the aura around her began to fade. She closed her eyes tight, the pain filling every muscle of her body. When she opened her eyes for a split second, you could see that they were no longer black. She collappsed, unconcious.

The man quickly ran over to Shigiku, catching her before she hit the ground. He stared down at her sadly and then looked up at Jacky. Silently, he went over and layed Shigiku in a safe spot, then withdrew his own sword. He ran over next to Brad. "Need some help?" he asked.
