Eclipse: The City of Dreams​

Peace had fallen over a great city, when they were attacked by a northern country. Soldiers killed many middle-aged men, and took captive the women. All the elderly was slaughtered, and the kids, sent to work in fields and other workshops

Ten Years later, the country who took those captive, allowed them to return to their destroyed city. To let them rebuild what they had left. The city soon became rebuilt and populated. It was soon called, “The City of Dreams”.

The city has become very popular and grew tremendously. Shops and markets opened, schools and work became available, and a leader was chosen.

King Henry Bowens, and his daughter Kiara (Key are ah) Bowens. His daughter wanders around the city, instead of staying at their large palace in the middle of the city. She mostly wanders near Terrence and Green Wood. She meets a lot of new people everyday and helps out ones who cannot help themselves, such as elderly and children.



The City was named Eclipse for the time of when they were attacked.
During the bombing of the city, a great shadow cast itself out, and when they looked up, there was an eclipse, causing the attackers to miss their direct spot and destroying the whole city. Much of it was able to be rebuilt, but everything else was just blown to bits.

Streets

Terrence-
Terrence is a very populated street. Most people come here for work, and in search of jobs. Guards are considered royalty there, as they also help around with those who can’t take care of themselves. At the end of the street is an old broken down house, where a lot of children live. They look forward to Kiara’s visit almost everyday. She is the only one other than a few bystanders who will look after them and take care of them. Terrence is considered the “Lower Class” street, where many homeless families spend their days.

Green Wood-
Green Wood is the wealthiest street, and the most popular. Most rich people come here to watch famous performances and great entertainment. Every home on this street is at least an acre apart, and the streets are always cleaned up. Usually once an unwealthy person steps foot on the street, they are sentenced to a day in the palace dungeon. If it happens again the sentence will be longer.

Lexicon
Lexicon is the market place of the street. Not one house is located in there. Mostly shoppers come for antiques and supplies for trips. Guards are very protective there and once they see someone who ‘steals’ they will be punished, no question’s asked. Mostly Middle Classes and Higher Classes come here. Lower classes only come if they are lucky enough.

Deartraed-
Deartraed is the street of dreams. It has been said to have a blessing on the streets for the ill. Most lower class come here, of their beliefs that the ones who blessed the street will bless them. Middle and Higher Class have never been seen on this street. Many homes and shelters are available, but only to those who really need it for their health.


Evana-
Evana is a street named after a great educator who taught the king herself. This street is all about education. Only 3 buildings lie in this street. A small building, and two large. The small building is for very young kids who need education. Higher, medium and lower class attends here. The middle building, which is one of the large is for the older kids who need a regular education. Mostly lower class and some medium class attends here. The large building on the end is for the best education. Higher class and some medium class attend here. When children become age of 15, they are done with school.


Jardin-
Jardin was named from a French word meaning “Garden”. This is mostly the only street you will see the ground on. Farmers work here, growing food and plants to be sold in the market. The business pays well, enough to be medium class. This street isn’t very populated. Only a few houses are located here, for the farmers and shippers.




Jobs

There are many jobs in the City of Dreams.

Maid/Servant- They work in the palace for the King and his daughter. Paid by the king and daughter themselves, enough to stay in higher class and live in the palace.
Guard- They makes sure that peace is kept in the city. Paid to almost be Higher Class
Farmer- They grow food and plats to be sold in the city. Paid enough for Medium Class
Shipper- they make sure that the plants and food is took to the sellers. Paid enough for Middle Class
Seller- sells antiques/accessories/food for the king. Paid enough for Middle class.
Blacksmith- sells weapons. Is paid for every weapon they sale. They make their own money, not for the king.

Age: 17
Job/School: Out of school. Her job is not supposed to be available in the city, but she helps elderly and kids who cannot look after themselves. She brings them shelter, food, and supplies when needed
Class: Higher
Appearance: She is 5'6. She has light blue eyes color and pale skin. Her hair looks bleach blonde, but is naturally. Her hair is always put in a ponytail, and still reaches down to her waist. She wears a pink hat that covers her hair, other than her bangs, and has a pink flower pinned on the right. She wears a long sleeved black plain shirt, and a plain pink miniskirt. She wears pink sandals to match.
Bio: She is a very sweet girl, and she loves to be kind to others in need of help. She will do almost anything anyone asks her and she has never regret the choice she made.
History: She was only 4 years old when the war started. Her father was hidden from her so that he wouldn't be killed, and her mother and herself was taken to the country which attacked. Her mother was sent to a household to work as a maid or servant, and she was lucky enough to be sent to a higher class for their daughter to have a friend to play with. They raised her for 10 years, and showed her how to be a proper lady and how to have such great manners. The day before she found out that she was going home, she found out her mother had died from a disease that was spreading. A year after she was home, she found her father, whom was already the king of Eclipse.

Appearance: He has short brown shaggy hair, brown eyes and tan skin. He wears a blue plain shirt under a small darker blue jacket. He wears comfortable jeans with brown tennis shoes.
Bio: He is a very kind and friendly person. He cares about Kiara and wants to keep her safe
History: He doesn't remember much. He doesn't know who his parents are or how he got to Eclipse. One day he just awoke in the streets and had no memory. He has spent two years in Eclipse so far

Bio: After returning to her hometown, she found her mom again and her mom got a job. Her mom was ablke to get enough pay for her to go to school and for them to be medium class.
History: She was taken captive by the country and was separated from her mom. Ten years later, they allowed her to return to the city and she helped to rebuild it. After much hard work, the city was back yet again and she started to attend school.

ooc alright ill start

jecht looked at the twenty-five targets in front of him hitting his watch it turned into his gauntlet which he swung shooting daggers guided by aura at the targets landinging all bulls eyes behind him more targets popped up he spun around and blasted all of them with aura relaxing for a second the floor sundelly opened up and he fell he quickly used his gauntlent to stop falling the jumped from wall to wall unit he landed on the floor.

"good workout for today .......sigh time to see if shes here to day ......again"

 

Kiara walked down Terrence, towards the old building at the end. She knew today was going to be busy. She soon came upon the door. She looked to make sure no one followed her. She opened and went in quickly. She saw many kids sleeping and some playing around. She smiled and put the two baskets she had down on the ground, which was the only place to set things. The floor creaked once she sat on her knees opening it up. She pulled out a basket of biscuits to give the small kids. She then stood up giving most of the children a piece. In the other basket she had, she decided to give them all an apple and a small canteen of water.
"I wish there was more I could do for you kids, but if father finds out, he wouldn't let me out of the palace again," she said.

Brad stood next to her and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry Kiara. We'll find some way to help them... I promise that everything will be okay," he said smiling. Kiara smiled back and picked up the two empty baskets.

"Thank you Brad. You're a very great friend," she said then gave him a friendly hug. She smiled and walked out of the small broken down house. She began to walk up the street towards Greenwood.

BIC- Shigiku smiled as she walked down Green Wood- more like skipped, actually. She was in a particularlly good mood for absolutely so reason. She hummed softly to herself as she waved at her neighbor. Her hand gripped the strap of her backpack tightly, keeping in hung over her shoulders. Today was her first day of school since she had gotten back to the city, and she was more excited then ever. Everything turned out perfectly... she thought, smiling. I got my mom back... and now we live in a great neighborhood... I can't wait to see what school's like! She looked up at the huge building as she arrived on the front lawn, stepping on the grass. Every bit of excitement she had just had faded into nervousness. The school was huge... and there were kids running all over. She wasn't sure what they would think of her. It'll be okay... she tried to reassure herself. Just think of other things and concentrate on your schoolwork... mother will be mad if I don't do well... Now... what will I do after school? I guess I could work on my fire skills... without burning anything down this time... She sweatdropped. She was becoming better with her skills, but she still needed to improve greatly. She had a training ground built into her house... but they had to have it replaced 3 times because she kept burning it down... they believed they had finally found one that can sustain her fire, though.

jecht was 12 and he was holding hands with a cute girl
"so its a promise right when were older we'll meet each other in eclipes" he asked

jecht kept walking he glanced to his right and froze there coming out a building was a girl that he stared at for a moment then kept walking sucess in his eyes he had found her now time to see if she remebered him

BIC: Kiara walked down the street, seeing a familiar face. She saw him and wondered who he was. He seemed like such a sweet person, and yet he looked so familiar.
"Who is that?" she wondered. She felt something behind her grab her arm. Something big and tough. She turned to see Brad.
"We need to get you out of here. The guards are coming and we need to get you out of sight," he said then pulled her out of the street. She ran alongside him back towards the palace. She looked back at him, thinking. "What was his name?" she asked herself. She soon made it back to the palace before the guards came out.
"Stay safe," Brad said then hugged her. She nodded.
"I'll be out soon," she said then walked through the gates and into the palace

jecht had doubled back when he saw that other guy take her away after he knew he had seen something in her eyes he had seen her go into the castle and wondered why he looked around no one was watching he put his hands on the castle wall and they began to glow he then quickly pulled himself up the wall and over staying out of her sight he ran along her in the shadows grabbing a rose as he past a vase he wouldnt lose her again not after he had almost given up hope of ever seeing her again

BIC: Kiara felt herself being watched. She finally made it to her room and opened the doors. She walked through two small pink drapes and entered her room. She took off the large brown outfit she wore that hid herself. Instead she put on a black shirt and pink mini skirt. She took her hat off and pulled her long hair down. She brushed it along in the mirror, thinking.
"That boy reminds me of someone," she said aloud softly. She continued to brsh her hair.
"But who is he?" she asked herself once more. She put the brush down and walked over to her bed, falling down on the purple soft blanket. She cuddled up close to her pink pillow and got herself comfortable.
"Just a name. Please," she asked herself. She closed her eyes thinking, and she could see him. She smiled and drifted off to sleep, dreaming peacefully. She could see herself as a kid and she saw him. She now remembered that she was friends with him. What happened to cause them to be apart? She wondered for a while until she saw herself hold his hand. She knew him now. she knew his name. Jecht... She dreamed more and more as she fell deeper into a sleep.

 

OOC- I don't know what to do with my character... she's like... the only young kid... lol... XP

BIC- Shigiku silently walked into the large, brick building, looking around with a sparkle of amazement in her eyes. She could see that this was going to be a rather interesting year. But alot of the students didn't even seem to notice her, which was just how she wanted it. Shigiku had always disliked attention from others, and she was glad that nobody was giving it to her. She worked alone... and that was just the way she liked it.

She slowly walked into the classroom and sat at a random desk, as the teacher had told them to choose their seats. She placed the backpack next to her chair as she listened to the teacher speak. The teacher was talking about the rules of his classroom and the consequences you would get for breaking them. Shigiku was a good listener and everything, but she chose not to pay attention, as she already knew what the teacher expected of her. The teacher would probably expect respect and all of the other things that most teachers expect their students to behave... so she basically already knew how to act and didn't find it important to listen. She stared at the teacher to make him think she was listening, a grin on her face. She daydreamed about her new life and thought that there was no way it could get any better than it was. She made sure that she payed a little attention, though. Just in case the teacher wanted her to awnser a question or they started to discuss something important.

bic jecht waited til she was asleep the put the rose on her dresser he noticed she seemed happy he turn to leave..................and walked right into the wall falling over making a loud thud he hurridly got up and boulted thru the window he ran thru the courtyard getting some strange looks
"what are you looking at"

he reaced the wall and jumped over it landing on top staring back at kiara's room he turned and jumped down and ran into an alley way

 

She jumped out of her bed when she heard the loud noise and barely saw him. She ran over to her window and saw him runing through the alleyway
"Wait!" she called out. She turned around and ran over to the door. On her way, she noticed the rose. She picked it up and smiled. She laid it on her bed the bolted out of her room. She ran down the hallway and down the large staircase. She ran past alot of guards but they didn't seem to try and stop her. She panted growing more and more tired. She ran outside across the courtyard and into the alleyway. She saw him far away and she kept running and running. She felt tired and that she couldn't' no more but she pushed herself.
"Wait....please!" she yelled out of breath. She still ran.

 

Once class had ended for the day, the bell rung and Shigiku grabbed her stuff before heading out of the classroom. She had been entirely wrong... school had been so boring that day... not to mention she had alot of homework... She muttered to herself as she walked outside and didn't feel like walking home... so she started to run. She laughed happily and she dashed towards her home on Green Wood, smiling as her hair blew in the wind. But she stopped as she thought she saw somebody in an alleyway. "Hello...?" she called as she walked down the alleyway, just in time to see somebody dash past. "Who's there?" she asked, aloud, a bit frightened as the alleyway was pretty dark... yet something kept pushing her to keep walking down the alleyway... so she did, looking around cautiously. She continued to walk, even though she felt beads of sweat run down her forhead as she shook, a bit nervous. This alley is really dark... maybe I should head back... she thought but just kept walking down the alley, anyways.

 

Kiara stopped, seeing a small girl. She looked ahead of her and saw the boy disappeared. Tears filled up in her eyes as she dropped to her knees. She put her hands over her eyes and cried.
"Why doesn't he want to talk to me?" she asked herself in the dark alleyway. Her stifled sobs echoed against the walls. She saw a puddle on the ground and saw her reflection. She could just see her imagination of him standing above her. She turned to see if it was truly him, but it wasn't. She stood up, wiping away her tears and tried to stop her unnecessary crying. She turned to the small child.
"What are you doing here?" she asked walking towards her.
"This place is much too damp and dirty for a clean girl such as you," she said smiling.

 

Shigiku looked around and then looked up at the girl. "I was walking home from school but I thought I heard somebody down here..." she said and smiled. "I guess it must've been you... or that person who was running..." She stared up at her, curiously. "What are you doing her anyways? You don't seem like the type of person who would be hanging out in alleyways..." She thought she heard someone behind her and quickly turned around, making a small whimper of fear. She sighed in relief when she saw that nobody was there... I'm just imagining things... unless somebody's following me... or unless somebody's following her... she thought and turned back to her, smiling as if nothing had happened. Shigiku suddenly realized who the girl was. "Wait a second... you're princess Kiara... aren't you?" she asked, staring at her curiously. What would a princess be doing in this town? Furthermore... in an alley? she thought, a little confused. Although she wasn't even sure if she was the princess or not... she could be mistaken.
