Pirates of the Caribbean should have ended after the first movie.

Although I enjoyed the second one, this wasn't really series material.

 

I sorta agree, but I have to admit that I liked the third one quite a bit. Second one not so much, and I have no interest in the new one, despite the awesomeness of Depp.

 

My favourite is the fourth one ;-;

... probably due to the fact I over watched the first one to the point it just got boring.

I would've liked for it to have ended at the first one, too. But then the great pirate gods saw fit to bring us the jar of dirt, so I can't complain much.

Nope, it should have ended after number three because at that point i feel that the story and the sub-plots worked well together and it was better to leave it end on a good note.

I think they could have ended it with just one, but what's the fun in that? Sure, the first was a movie by itself, but than, who wouldn't want to bring Davvy Jones into a pirate movie? I think they're going to keep going and bring in all the famous pirate stuff. I reminds me of something else, but I just can't put my finger on it

 

I'm actually hoping for 2 more Pirates of the Carribean movies.

Movie 5: The founding of the Brethren Court and the binding of Calypso

Movie 6: Finishing off the series.

 

well, I think they're probably going to go off the end of the last movie, but I don't think they're going anywhere with Colypso. They've wrapped that up with Davvy Jones. (am I spelling that right)
