    This.

Harry Potter has been what's gotten me close, but nothing has ever pushed me past the point.

I get teary eyed when something horrible happens *destruction of entire city* or when the ending is terrible *death of all main character, main character sacrifices self, etc.* other than that no water works, I can usually take all the other stuff and say ah, s'cool.

Words alone aren't enough. But I have gotten a tad teary-eyed at some deaths of Umineko, a sound novel.

    George and Shannon, all games.
    Jessica and Kanon, second game.
    Ange.
    Sakutarou.
    Maria, fourth game.
    Hideyoshi, third game.

I VERY RARELY cry while I'm reading, and I read a lot. I came close while reading Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident by Eoin Colfer.
When Artemis finds out his dad is safe, and he breaks down and sobs. It was amazing to me that cold, emotionless Artemis had the ability. I get sensitive when a guy cries, but especially when said guy who never shows any emotion is crying for happiness that his father is safe.
Then I did shed a few tears while reading Specials from the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld.
When Zane died. That was just devastating to me, because I thought he was a great character, and was perfect for Tally. I hadn't realized how emotionally attached I had become to him until that moment.
Those are the only two occasions I can remember that come close.

Honestly there were lots of moments for me involving Ange and Maria where I started tearing up. Sakutarou and Ange's deaths both made me, I remember; and then I think when Ange's classmates were bullying her and picked her up by her hair and one of her hair beads rolled to the ground, and the Stakes and Maria could only stand by and watch. Ughh.

    Also in EP5 when
Beatrice died just as Battler realized the truth and was 'revived'. The music. THE MUSICCC.

Zane's death really hit me in the face, I had no idea it was coming at all... In fact the entire relevation of what went wrong with his brain was sad =/. I do remember getting pretty upset over that.

I cried at Harry Potter when
    Dumbledore died...
    That was sad. And when
fred died in the last Harry Potter
book... I cry when my favorite characters die D:

    I also cried when
    Brom died
in the first Eragon book :[

    And when the
horse died in that one book Beauty.
Which is weird, 'cause animal deaths usually don't bother me.
I think it was the fact that the kid had to kill the horse himself that got to me.
    I could never kill anything ; ;
