I cry sometimes when I read books ;__;.. It's usually in those parts when something bad happens to one of the main characters or when someone is getting picked on by others v.v.. I can't take it when people are hurting another characters feelings DX.. Here's a list of some books I cried reading >.>
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix- Sad ending
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince- It was Voldemorts past that got me ;__;.. If he wasn't a deadly half snake creature I would have hugged him
    The Wizard Heir
The Dragon Heir- Horrible sad ending, I was shaking while reading it =[
The Looking Glass Wars- Dodges' past got to me ):

The Book the Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.

That book was so freaking sad. I shed manly tears throughout most of that book.

oh god I can't keep from crying. I have to read little bits at a time >>
I cried in 4th grade when I read Marley & Me, as well. I had like an emotional breakdown in the middle of the YMCA cuz I was reading it at a kid's program where our parents left us.

I haven't cried for a book yet, but there have been times that I wish the ending would change.

I love happy endings. Though if a sad ending is actually better than a happy one then I don't feel all depressed, I can't really explain it.

But for example, THIS IS NOT A BOOK, but a ANIME SERIES!
Code Geass, ending was sad, but I was okay with it.

The sad endings that make me depressed are ones like these:

    Full Metal Alchemist,
The first series, the series where they had 2 endings, not the new one.
One of the two endings had, Edward die. He was killed by Envy.

    Here's another.
    Romeo and Juilet

    And another
    The Demon Ororon
(Manga, that I just finished. Short series that has only 4 volumes)

An ending that I probably really wish to change is:
Echoes of the White Giraffe. I really wish that the main character Sookan could be with that guy. (Forgot his name) Instead of flying to America which leads to the 3rd book of the series, Gathering of Pearls.

    I don't cry so much...

I did cry in FullMetal Alchemist manga when
Maes Huges dies because Envy killed him IN THE FORM OF HIS WIFE!
But other times, I don't cry. Only when theres pictures really.
    RARELY with words.

Wooww they really screwed up when they first made the Full Metal Alchemist anime. Makes me want to read the manga now.
In the anime he wasn't killed by his wife but by some military lady, I forgot her name.
It really ruins things when an anime company can't make the anime like the manga and stray far away from it and cut out a lot of important things and add in things that shouldn't be there. The anime is an absolute FAIL compare the the manga storyline. I haven't read the manga but I have heard some things about it.

Well it depends on the kind of material that I read. If I'm really into a story and a character I like dies then yeah I shed some tears. I don't cry very often when I read.

When I was 8 and I read Meet Addy( A book about a girl who was a slave in the South in the 1800's) I cried when her Father was sold to another master on a different plantation and they were separated.

I have cryed in books you just get to know a charecter and then they get killed its heart rendering. though thats how you measure a good book, a book that can make you feel...

well, for me, it depends on the book :/
I don't really cry if the sad scene is out from story, such as side story.. or something like that =w=
