Golbez cast float on everyone and floated down.

 

Garland looked down as they floated "damn this thing seems like its bottomless" Garland said

 

"What were you doing out here anyway?"

 

"we were gathering materials for the school" Garland said

 

Jecht crossed his arms and readied his sword.

 

"And this involved you being out on a cliff? What exactly were you gathering?"

 

"some gems and things but it was because of the monsters" Garland said

 

Jecht sighed. "Can we land already?"

 

"If you want to drop to your death, be my guest. I'm not sure how far this crevice goes and I want to make sure we get down safely."

 

Jecht groaned and sighed.

 

"Just be patient. I think we're getting close to the bottom."

 

"Finally......"

Sara stared at him, "And you're supposed a guardian?"

 

Golbez was the first to land.

"No sign of impact. Looks like Cecil floated down too."

 

Garland sighed in relief "looks like im safe" Garland muttered

 

"No, it just means I'm knocking a couple of weeks off of your time as a statue."

 

Jecht and Sara landed last. "So, where could he have gone?"

 

"He could have went in any direction looking for a way back up."
