Digimon: Virus Outbreak

ooc: right, right. And btw hexin, if you end up try to others to join by speaken with em, then try to get anouther girl. I mean, just the way that digimon series goes, there are usually at least 3 dudes and 2 chicks, know what I mean

OOC: HERE GOES MY LAST PROLOGUE POST!

7:30 A.M.

“Eiki! What do you want for breakfast?!â€

The sound of her voice startled the boy. It was Saturday morning. The special part about it was that it was Eiki’s birthday.

“Can I have French toast?†he asked as he peered from the side of the door frame.

“French toast?†She said turning her to him.

“Yep!†he shouted in delight.

She stood there for a second, then, walked towards the refrigerator to check for any missing ingredients. After a stretched second passed, she sighed and walked towards her room. Little Eiki followed right behind her.

“Mom?â€

“I’m going to have to go to the supermarket for sec to get the eggs.†her voice echoed through her closet.

Standing at the entrance of her room, he shrugged.

“Ok.†He said in a low tone as he walked back towards his room.

It was as he had left it a few minutes back. The creature lying on his bed sound asleep. It let out measured breathes. He walked to the edge of his bed and climbed aboard. Of course, he made sure not disturb the little thing with the beds vibration. He settled his head on his soft comfortable pillow. The boy let out a heavy sigh as he stared at the ceiling of his bedroom. Fatigue slowly consumed his body. His eyes felt heavier by the second.

They were less than a centimeter away from closing when he heard a voice.

“Eiki!, I’ll be back soon! I’m going to go get the eggs along with the cake. Ok?â€

It was his mom at the door of their apartment.

Eiki got up and responded quickly.

“Uh ok mom!†he replied, trying not to wake up the sleeping digimon.

Luckily, the blue creature did not awaken. That is until the slam of the front door vibrated though out the house. The creatures eyes opened up and it lifted its head. It turned its head and looked up at Eiki. He sighed with a disappointed expression.
“Sorry about that. Are you alright?†he asked in an attempt to make a conversation.

It just tilted its head to one side in confusion. Then, it got up sniffed the air. Its stomach growled.

“Huh? Aw, not again?!†he exclaimed.

Eiki got off the bed and gently carried the creature between his arms towards the kitchen. At the front of the refrigerator door, he settled the creature down and opened the door with a bit of struggle. Inside, were a variety of foods and refreshments. There were vegetables, yogurt, milk, water bottles, orange juice, Pepsi, packet of ham, eggs…..

“Wait….eggs?†he said out loud.

The creature looked up at him in a confused stare.

“Mom said we were out of eggs. Why would she lie..?â€

Then it hit him. His mom had probably pretended to not have eggs in order to buy him his presents!

“That’s got to be it! Mom is probably getting me that action figure I’ve been wanting!†he shouted as he hopped up and down in delight.

The creature began to whimper. Eiki looked down at him.

“Oh right! Food.†he muttered.

He looked back up at the selection and thought about it. After much thought, he decided to grab hold of the broccoli that was wrapped in a group. After much climbing, he managed to grab the broccolis.

“Here ya go. My mom has always told me that vegetables are good for you.†He explained.

It looked at the strange green substance. After much inspecting and sniffing it finally took a bite. It was satisfied. It took another bite and then another. In 5 minutes the creature was done. It gave a loud belch. Then, its body began to emit a strange light. That’s when it grew into another being. It was now the size of a refrigerator. The boys eyes widened in surprise.

“Whoa…. What are you.†He muttered as he eyed the new features.

The creature was now 7 feet tall. It had mostly violette colored fur, with a white belly and snout. Its head is large and roughly rectangularl, with two conical furry ears with black stripes around the back. A small crimson red symbol can be seen on its forehead; small bat like wings could be noticeable. It now has large, 3-fingered hands with short black claws, as well as 3-toed feet with stout claws.

“How am I gonna hide you now…?†he asked himself as he still gazed at him. It was almost mesmerizing.

Eiki shook his head and began to panic.

“AAAHHH!!! Mom could be here any minute!†he thought out loud.

In a desperate attempt, he began to push the enlarged digimon into his room. It began moving towards the boy’s room. Its immense size managed to fit through the door frame with a cost. The frame was damaged a bit. There were now cracks in its design. Eiki decided to worry about it later as he struggled to fit the humanoid lizard like creature into the balcony. With a small push, the creature managed to get through French door without injuring itself and the frame.

He muttered the word ‘sorry’ to his friend as he slide the door shut. He felt a sudden vibration of the house.

“Honey, I’m home!†Eiki’s mother shouted.

Eiki gasped. He quickly pulled the curtains shut in order to hide the huge being. Then, he made his way to the kitchen where his mother was putting away the groceries. Struggling, little Eiki managed to climb the toadstool stationed near the kitchen counter.

“Hiya mom.â€

6:00 P.M.

The birthday party went well. Mothers talked among themselves while the kids enjoyed their time together. All this time Eiki completely forgot about the digimon that lurked in his balcony. It was as if he didn’t exist. It was a wonderful day. Of course, that time didn’t last to long either.

After the last of the kids had left, it was time for Eiki’s mom to go to work.

“Ok, now remember what I told you. Don’t open the door to strangers, don’t answer calls that you don’t recognize, and get to bed by nine ‘o’ clock.†she reminded.

Eiki gave a quick nod, received a kiss in the forehead, and then ran to his room. He’d gotten so many presents that he would be distracted for the rest of the night.

9:30 P.M.

It has been raining for quite some time now. The rhythm of each drop was almost soothing. Eiki was sound asleep on top of his bed. His favorite action figure was in his right hand while another toy was in his other. Suddenly, a flash of lightning signaled for thunder. In a second, the thunder vibrated across the city. When it reached the apartment, little Eiki was awakened.

“Huh?â€

He looked around with his sleepy eyes. The heavy eye lids were about to close when he heard a strange crash. The eye lids quickly opened and he was fully awake. Eiki got up and checked the entire apartment. The living room, kitchen, mom’s bedroom, bathrooms, and his own room were excellent conditions. Nothing had occurred in his house. The only place he hadn’t checked was his balcony.

That was when he gasped in horror.

“I forgot!†he muttered a loud.

He ran for his curtains. As he opened it, it revealed that no one was on the balcony. Panicked, he swung the door open and looked over the metal bars. It was as he had thought. The purple creature he had forgotten about was now on the lifeless street. The creature looked to its left and to its right. Then it leaped from its position and landed at the end of the block.

“Whoa…!†he said.

Eiki immediately realized that he had to stop or it’d get itself hurt. He ran across his room and towards the door. Once, there he unlocked the door and then remembered it was raining.

“Shoot! I better go get my umbrella and my sneakers!†he told himself.

After five minutes off getting ready, he was at out the door and off to find his ‘pet’. The rain was calming down, but the roads were still wet and dangerous. He ran as fast as he could until he reached the last spot he had seen him. By then, the creature must have been half way across New York. The boy was breathless and he couldn’t go on any longer. But he kept going. He new he had to find it. Who knew what would happen if he didn’t.

Suddenly, a loud roar was heard coming from the other side.

“He’s by the construction sight already!?†he exclaimed. He let out a heavy sigh and began his sprint.

10:12 P.M.
As he neared the bridge construction sight, discordant sounds could be heard. Eiki turned the corner and saw the source of the sound. The sound of blows being exchanged was coming from two creatures! He was shivering from the cold and at the same time from the frightening seen.

“What is this..?â€

The words came out of his mouth in a frightened tone.

It was a battle between a gorilla like monster the size of a building and his ‘pet’ which now looked different. The dark purple creature had longer seagull like wings, its nail color changed to blood red. In a way, it resembled the American version of Godzilla.

By now, both colossal monsters were worn out. The gorilla like creature lifted its right hand which was replaced by cannon.

“Energy Cannon!†it shouted. Its cannon launched a beam of yellow light at the opposing creature.

“Power Ball!†the lizard like creature shouted. In that instant, it opened its mouth and released a ball of metal; aimed at its attacker.

Both opposing blasts collided and caused a devastating explosion which destroyed both digimon along with the unfinished bridge. The blast radius was immense. Eiki was pushed back because of the harsh wind. He flew towards a construction vehicle where he smacked the back of his head against the metallic rim.

10:32 P.M.

“Hey! Buddy! Wake up!†a voice echoed through his head.

Eiki opened his eyes to find a purple creature staring at him.

“Ey, you ok there?†it asked.

He waited until his vision was clear before answering.

“Uhh…y-yeah. I think so...†he replied in a low tone.

The boy looked at the purple figure until he got a good look at it. It’s a small humanoid imp creature with a tail and large pointed ears. He wears a pair of red gloves and a matching red scarf. Eiki slowly got up and saw before him his front door. Immediately, he got up and looked around. He was inside his own house in the living room near the door.

“How’d I end up here?†he asked.

The imp looked at the floor for a second then answered.

“If I recall correctly, you were running around the city looking for the blue big guy.â€

Eiki gasped in remembrance. The last thing he remembered was the explosion and then blank.

“…It’s gone isn’t it..?†he asked.

The imp looked down in sorrow.

“Yeah, the big guy died a hero.†It said in a sad one.

After a moment of silent meditation, the imp decided to break the silence.

“Well, I came here for a reason…†He began.

He looked up at it.

It extended its left hand revealing a device.

“What’s this..?†he asked while extending his right hand to grab the device.

“That’s a digivice.†He answered.

“A what..?†he asked unsure.

“A digivice. It’s a device you tamers get when you gain a partner.†it explained.

Eiki inspected the digivice. After a minute, he looked back up at him.

“What are you..?†he said with curiosity.

The creature grinned. “Why, we’re digimon.â€

Present Day

It’s a Friday afternoon. The sun shines with its intense rays. The afternoon is always hottest. Eiki, now 15 years old, is seen walking down the sidewalk of his neighborhood in Tokyo. (Skipping school on friday was something he did once in a while.)The headphones are firmly set in his ears. It is not noticeable mainly because of his dark colored hood covering his head. His hands are firmly tucked in his pocket jacket as he walks down the usual path leading to the mall.

Ever since that fateful day in New York, his mother decided to move back to her hometown, Tokyo. Of course, his father met his mom in Japan. It’s amazing how one business trip can change a person’s life. They fell in love and his mom moved over to America where his father lived. Now, it’s strange because his father isn’t even a one-hundred percent American. His father was born in Cuba where he moved to New York, North America.

It doesn’t matter though. His father died when he was only a baby. So he never really got to know him. All he has to remind him of his father are just photos.

Strange. He’s American with Hispanic/Japanese heritage.

 

Haru was staring at the 2 digimon in great awe still shocked as it changed it's form!. Haru asked thier names but only the blue one answered since it was small and had a tiny blue tail with a blue body. It yelled," I am Demiveemon!". Haru stared at it blankly and said," Nice to meet ya..". He coutinued to stare at the little green creature in it's brown cocoon.

Haru started to walk down stairs with the blue digimon on his shoulder and the green one floating in the air while his dad was just staring at him in a strange matter. It seemed like his father was gonna scream or something but Haru sat down at the table and started to eat his breakfast only to realize that they were hungry!. Haru father says," HARU!! WHAT ARE THOSE!?!?". Haru stared at his father and said," The blue one is demiveemon and the other one is.. I dunno..". He opened the fridge and took out 2 chicken legs which he fed to both of them. There was a explosion from outside of his building so he looked outside and 2 creatures were figthing only to see a huge explosion coming from the battle. He flew onto the ground and glass flew everywere and the force was so strong it knocked him out.

A couple of hours later Haru woke up with the 2 beings staring at him but they changed! the blue one was the size of a toddler and it had a V on it's head. The green one was a worm and also had a V on his head but it was smaller so Haru looked at them wondering," Wow... what is going on WITH MY LIFE!?!?". So he wondered.. were they given to him for a reason?....

Matt slowly began to open his eyes, to find two small creatures laying on his lap, one of them looked like a bug, that was in some sort of a cacoon, though its head was sticking up. The other, some blue creature with a white face, and some odd metalic helmet on its head with horns, and a fluffy tail. They both looked at him, worried, as he slowly began to get up. "What......what are you guys" he said in a groggy voice, though all they could do was sit around. He then got up, and took a step to the right, as they both moved to the right. He then raised an eye brow. He then took a step to the left, and the two creatures hopped to the left. "Definatly not something that I've ever seen before" matt mumbled. He then began to start to walk down the allyway, as the two creatures followed him. He then stopped, only to hear the noises that the two creatures made by following him halt to a stop as well. "Are you guys going to follow me around everywhere?" he asked them, and they both shook their heads in unision. "Well, I have nothing else to do really, so might as well just follow" he said depressidly, as he continued to walk, though while turning around, he bumped into the white guy from the night before.

"Yo kid, what are those, your happy meal toys?' the guy asked, as he slowly began to approach the two creatures. he kicked the one with the helmet on it, though then he brought back his foot in pain, his toe throbbing from being smashed up against such hard metal. "Why you.." he said as he then tried to kick the one in the spiked cacoon, only to bring his foot back again, now bleeding, from the spikes on the cacoon.

Matt began to lauph, though that was a huge mistake, as the white guy picked him up, and smashed him up against the wall. "What, you think that that's funny kid?" he asked. The creature with the cacoon around it suddenly began to change, as it bared witness to Matt getting hurt, and as it evolved, it took the form of a type of large bug, a carterpillar, with lightning markings on its head, yellow skin, and a large spike at the end of its tail.

Matt was dumfounded when he saw this, as he was shoved up against the wall by the white guy once again. "What the hell has you in a daze you dam squirt. Pay attention when I'm threatnen you. Why, just for you not paying attention, I aughta..." the guy began to say, but then stopped, as a thread of web attatched to his back, and his body began to shake, as he dropped the kid, as volts of electricity were sent into his body by the masses through his web, and his hair began to burn. He then fell to the ground, electrified. He was not dead, but he was certainly in a criticle position, his nerve cells all paralized, unable to move his own body, not even his eyes or his lips.

"What......what did you just do" matt asked, in total surprise.

"Saved you" the worm like creature responded. "You needed help, and I reacted." he said quite simply.

"Ya, but......but how did you do that. With the electricity, and the web, and the body changing, and...." matt began to say, but then was interupted, when the bug like creature said "Listen, at the moment, we don't have time for this. I can already tell by what I have witnessed last night while you were asleep that this guy definatly is not alone, and I am not in the mood to get beat up" the bug like creature said. "And by the way, my name is kunemon, the most beautiful bug digimon in the digital world" kunemon said.

"Hey wait, you're a she?" matt asked, confused.

"Ya. Now can we get out of here already. And if you don't mind, can you take him with you? He is still just a baby after all" kunemon said, shifting her head over in the other digimons direction. "He's kapurimon." kunemon said, as she began to walk over to matt. "And by the way. Before I came here, I was told to give you something. Hold on" kunemon said as she then waddled over to the broken down laptop, placing her tail upon it, as it suddenly began to charge up due to surges of electricity, and from the laptop came the same light, and out of it, floated what appeared to be some kind of a device. "Take it, pick me and him up, and then can we please get out of here" kunemon asked.

"Ya, sure" matt said, still a little confused, but since he didn't have anything else going his way, he thought that he might as well use this oppertunity to his liking, so he picked up the digivice, the two digimon, and began to wander off into the ally ways of the city. After every single one of these events, it would change him, for better, and for worse...

9 years later....

"No wait, please. I give, I give, just don't hurt honeybeemon anymore. Its not like its his fault he's here. I promise, I'll keep him even more hidden then I did before, but he never did anything to you" a boy pleeded, around the age of 12.

"Sorry kid, but I've got a collection to complete here, and I don't have time for your dam emotions. Arukenimon, finish him" matt said, his eyes cold, as he snapped his fingers.

"Don't you think that we could at least cut this one a break?" Toy Agumon said from behind matt.

"No. You know the motto. We take and we don't give back. The only ones who deserve to keep their digimon are those who worked hard enough to keep it" matt said. "NOW FINISH IT!"

And at that, Arukenimon walked over to honeybeemon, who was on the ground, unable to move. She then lifted one of her pointed feet, and she said "Night night", and with that, she ended it, crushing honeybeemon, as his data began to transfigure.

Matt then walked over to honeybeemon in the process of transfiguring back into its egg form, as matt pressed two different buttens on the digivice at the same time, and a symbol appeared on it as the screen on it began to glow. "Your mine" he said, as he then helled out the top of the digivice where the scanner was on it, and the data began to evapurate into the scanner.

The 12 year old kid who had been trying to keep it hidden for so long fell on his knees, crying, as matt began to walk away, digivice in hand. "Its amazing what different things you can do when you actually try to see what features this thing has" he said as he stood their, watching Arukenimon and toy agumon began to transform, soon in the appearance of a woman (just like from the show), and toy agumon began to fold up his block like body, soon looking like some oddly shaped contoction of blocks. They now seemed almost completely normal, or as normal as a digimon in disquise could get

ooc: hope its ok with you about that last part, since it sorta takes after the ability that the kids for dm4 have, when they absorb the data of different digimon. Basicly, just like in the game that matt played when he was younger, he enjoys capturing the spirits of digimon, and adding them to a collection of his. In other words, he is sort of a bad guy, arukenimon sort of sharing area's from his darker side, though toy agumon showing attributes from his old self.
But basicly, he's sorta like a digimon hunter. He finds digimon, whether they be wild or owned (you said in the intro that many people were getting digimon, so I can only assume that that must mean that our charecters are not the only one), and he destroys them, while taking the chance to absorb their data.

 

"Of course it makes sense," the thing replied, as if it were immensely offended. It moved off of her lap and settled over on top of her bed. Skyler stayed seated on the floor, ten-million different questions running through her head.

"Just what are you, exactly?" Skyler finally asked.

"A friend," it replied with a yawn. "You don't need to worry your little head off with the other details."

Skyler raised an eyebrow, but chose not to press the subject. "Then what should I call you?"

It grinned at her. "I'm Kudamon."

"Kudamon," Skyler repeated. "And I'm Sky-"

"Skyler," Kudamon interrupted, grinning even wider. "I already know your name. It's very nice to meet you."

Skyler glanced out the window and noted how dark it was already. "I'm going to bed," she announced. Kudamon merely shrugged. After slipping on nightclothes and turning off the light, she made herself comfortable next to Kudamon, who refused to budge from the spot on the bed. Oddly enough, it felt natural to have the thing so close to her. After a few minutes it seemed Kudamon had fallen asleep, and Skyler took the oppurtunity to look at it more closely. It didn't resemble any animal she knew, though it's face was fox-like. Around its neck was a gold collar she hadn't noticed before, and dangling from the collar was a small blue and silver device with a tiny screen. She reached for the object, but instantly Kudamon woke up and slid out of her reach.

"What's that?" Skyler demanded.

"A present for you," Kudamon said matter-of-factly.

"Then why won't you let me touch it?"

It tilted it's head to the side. "You're a bit young for it," Kudamon replied.

"I'm eleven," Skyler said indignantly.

"Really?" It looked her up and down. "You look younger than that. But no, I can't give it to you yet."

"What is it?" Skyler pressed. "Why won't you tell me anything?"

The creature let out a sigh. "I don't want to unload everything onto you at once," it said. "I like to do things gradually." It nestled beside her again. "Now, if what I remember about humans is correct, you have to get up for school early tomorrow. Go to sleep, and if I'm in the mood I'll tell you a little more about myself later."

"Okay, Kudamon," Skyler said, relenting. She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

ooc: It's getting late, so I'll add more later.

 

OOC: Sure, why not. I haven't really thought of the real bad guy, yet. So we can use a demi-bad guy for the time being. Anyway, nice intro everyone. Now, we shall begin the story! :D I take it everyone is in the same timeline now, right?

Saturday 8:19 a.m.

There it stood. Towering, about 50 feet high, was the Kaiyou mall. The sound of echoing voices were really exasperating. Of course, there was the sound of the malls fountain. The sound of watering gushing out of the blow hole and into the pool of water was very soothing. It was his only source of such tranquility. Unfortunately, if he wanted to get around the place he’d have to abandon such a relaxing spot.

“Good thing I brought my Mp3.” He thought.

He put on his headphones and concealed it with his hood. The store he was going too sold his favorite CD’s, but they sold out rather rapidly. What really worried him was the fact that he’d been caught stealing in this mall on several occasions. They never ‘actually’ caught him because he somehow always managed to escape without a trace. He was confident he could escape again if they caught him. Still, he had his doubts.

As he approached the store, tension rose. Eiki lowered his head as to make the hood conceal his face as well. Now all he had to do was find the CD, pay for it, and he’d be on his way out. He walked towards the “Rock” section and began rummaging between rows. Finally, after a lot of searching, he found the newly released album. His eyes slowly inspected the front cover.

“Nice.” He muttered all the while looking at the table of contents.

His fingers twitched in excitement. He looked both ways before making his way towards the register. Eiki took a deep breathe before approaching the female in back of the register. *Beep*

“That’ll be ten dollars and five cents.” She said looking at him with suspicious eyes.

Eiki’s hood hid his face. She scowled and waited until he had finished collecting the cash.

“Here you go…” He made sure to use a low and deep toned voice as to not give away the slightest clue of his identity.

Her hands moved to acquire the money when she noticed something. She had seen that black jacket before. It was from the infamous shoplifter.

“Hey! I recognize that jacket! You’re that kid!” she shouted, while pointing at him.

Her shouting had caught the attention of the customers and the security nearby the store.

“Shoot…!” He immediately grabbed the CD and took off.

The security guard nearby saw him take off and took off after him.
“Hey Kid! Get back here!” he shouted as he accelerated a bit.

Eiki inhaled and exhaled every second while running away from the closing in guard. He made a sharp turn leading to the malls restrooms.

8:30 a.m.

On the malls roof, the exit door is kicked open by Eiki. He runs all the way until he reached the edge. He looked down and then back. The guard had him cornered.

“Ok kid. There’s no where to run. So just hand yourself over.” He said in a nervous tone.

The boy took a step back.

“What are you going to do? D-don’t do it, kid. I’m warning you.” His voice had a pinch of worry.

“You’re warning me?” he said with an angry scowl. “I’m the one who should be warning you! One more step back and I’m history!” he exclaimed.

The guard extended his right hand at him.

“Now kid. Don’t do anything foolish. Just…take a step forward and come towards me.” He commanded in a soft voice.

Eiki grinned.

“Bye.” He said confidently.

His foot moved backwards. Touching air, he leaned his body backwards and gravity took charge; pushing him down.

“NOO!!” the guard shouted as he ran towards edge. The mid-aged man looked over to find nothing. Not a single kid cascading or splattered on the ground.

“Wh-what?! This can’t be!?”

The boy was nowhere to be found.

 

Matt layed back in the ally way, adjusting his sun glasses, observing his digivice, rumaging through different digimon spirits which he had captured for the last 8 years now. Each one unique, different, data following with the different selections, discussing moods, attacks, likes and dislikes, all there. "This is starting to bore me." he muttered. He hadn't had a good challange for months now, just wild digimon, all of them to stupid to actually put up a fight. He had been fighting champian levels, and against his Arukenimon who was already at mega level. "Cmon. we're gonna find a new challange. Normally I would prefer to simply sit around and wait, but I and begining to become bored by this. Radar will pick up some activity anyways." matt said as he began to walk towards the end of the ally way, where there was an opening to the streets. He clicked a side butten on his digivice, as what appeared to be a type of signal went out on the digivice, a signal which would surely be able to point out the location of anouther digivice, serving the same use as the walkie talky feature that it had (also a feature found from digimon 4)

 

Haru was sitting on the roof of the building at his apartment with Veemon and Wormon sitting next to him. Haru was eating a bag of chips... Veemon was eating a apple and wormon was eating a plate of meatballs. When Haru was done with his bag of chips he threw it off of the roof and it landed onto the ground. He laid back with his hands laying on the back of his head.

Haru stares at Veemon and wormon and asked them a question saying," Hey guys.. where do you come from?...". They both looked at him with a grin on his face and said," The digital world..". He didn't say anything else and turned his head back to the sky wondering if they can do anything else. He got up and ran down back down stairs to get some old dishes. He ran back up onto the roof and instructed Veemon to do something with these plates. Veemon ran at the plate and yelled," V!!! HEADBUTT!". Veemon slams his head through the plate destroying it completely. Haru says," Your turn Wormon!". Wormon says," I don't use my powers on such weak things". Haru stared at wormon blankey and sat onto the ground while staring at the street.

OOC: Yep we are in the same timeline/

 

8:53 a.m.

Eiki’s shoes made contact with the roof top of a nearby expensive restaurant. He patted away the dust in his dark jacket.

“Thanks. I thought that was the end of me for sure.†He said as he looked up at the digimon.

Standing next to him was a creature that had the appearance of a biker. Three slightly curved blades could be seen on the tip of his boots. He had a third eye in its forehead and had sharp claws. He looked deadly, but in the inside it was really just an honest imp.

“Heh, good thing I was around the area then.†It replied with a smirk.

Eiki smiled. His hands reached for his jackets pocket and took out the CD.

“I got it.†His right hand twirled in a way to show off the day’s prize.

The digimons jaw dropped. It was aghast at the sight of the CD.

“You stole a CD?!!†It exclaimed.

Eiki rolled his eyes. “Oh come on! I paid for the CD!†he shouted.

“They just got all angry when they found out that it was me who was buying it!†His breathing slowly became harder.

The digimon sighed. “Eiki, did you really pay for it? Or did you only give a portion of what it really cost?†he questioned.

The boy stood there in silence. There eyes locked in a staring contest. It glared at him until, finally, Eiki gave up.

“Oh, all right!†He said as he rubbed his eyes in pain.

It released a heavy sigh as it rubbed its face. “This kid is gonna be the end of me, one day.†He thought.

“Why do you keep doing this?†It moaned.

“Beelzemon, it’s not my fault. I try to be an honest kid!†he began.

Beelzemon walked up to Eiki until they were face to face. (Sort of)

“That’s just it. You ‘try’ instead of just being an honest kid.†He explained as he looked down at him.
Eiki stared up at him. Eiki’s hair fluttered in the passing wind as Beelzemons did as well. They stared at each other again, this time Eiki being the one to glare. After a brief pause, Eiki screamed in pain. His eyes burned making his eyes a little red. He rubbed his eyes again and walked towards the edge of the roof. His rear end touched the edge as it supported all the weight, while Eiki sat there, looking at the ground in thought.

“Beelzemon?†he began.

“Yeah kid?†His eyes blinking as to ward off the burning sensation.

“What’s it like in the digital world?†he asked with curiosity.

Beelzemon grinned. “Trust me kid. It’s an adventure eery day.†His mind was to focused on Eiki to notice the presence of other incoming digimon in the city.

Haru was still hungry seeing that a small bag of chips didn't fill him also his father wasn't home to cook for him so he decided to go to a restaurant even didn't even fix up himself he just came in street clothes.

Haru,Veemon,And wormon arrived at the resturant only to look up seeing a boy... and a ANOTHER DIGIMON! it looked like a biker man with three eyes but Haru countinued to stare at the 2 Veemon and Wormon did the same so Haru yelled," Hey!!!! is this a couple fight? I will leave if ya want me too". Haru started to laugh and veemon and wormon did too.

 

Five Years Later

"Stay in there," Skyler hissed to her bookbag. A woman on the seat next to her gave her a puzzled birth before getting up and moving to another seat. Skyler sighed and stared out the window. She should've walked to work instead of taking the bus, but what was done was done.

Since there was no one sitting near them anymore, Kudamon stuck his head out of the bag. "You keep that thing," he said, nodding to the digivice clipped to her belt, "right where everyone can see it, yet I can't get a few minutes of fresh air?"

"It can pass as an mp3 player," she told him smugly. "The closest thing you resemble is a ferret, and I don't think many people carry those around in public."

He looked somewhat insulted, but chose not to argue. "So, if I stay in this stuffy bag for the next five hours-"

"You're the one that didn't want to stay in the apartment alone," Skyler pointed out.

"Fine, yes. But if I'm good, we'll go an a little outing tonight so I can stretch my legs?"

Skyler nodded. It was safer in dark of night for Kudamon and herself to go out together, rather than during the day where everyone could see him. "Of course."

He nodded. He ducked back into the bag just as the bus stopped, and Skyler got off.

Eiki sat by the edge of the rooftop. It seemed so isolated, quiet, yet peaceful. A place for someone to be on their own when deep in thought. "Then, I guess I'll just have to visit one day.." he said with a grin. Beelzemon began to chuckle a bit, until they heard a boys voice below them. Beelzemon walked closer to the edge, while Eiki turned his head slightly; looking down at the boy. Surprisingly, the boy had two other digimon with him.

"Wh-what the-" Eiki tried to find the words, but he just couldn't; it sort of got him vexed. Beelzemon just stared at the boy with a sharp glare. "Hey! Why don't you mind your own business?!" Eiki exclaimed, annoyance slowly consuming him.

"It's ok, kid. Let the guy have his fun." he said, raising his right hand, pointing with his index to the pair of little digimon near him. "Their only kids just trying to have fun."

Eiki closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and released it all in one sigh. " Yeah, I guess so..." He looked at the bunch and just smirked. "Nice seeing someone else with partner digimon.." he muttered underneath his own breath. He got off the bench like edge and walked towards the center of the roof. "Let's get out of here."

Beelzemon nodded. With that quick nod, black wings suddenly emerged from nowhere. He took hold of Eiki, wrapping his arms around his waist, and launch himself off the roof and into the bright morning sky; a barely noticeable black silohuette in the sky.

 

Haru sighed as he saw the digimon lift off of the roof so he coutinued into the resteraunt with wormon and Veemon next to his legs. The waiter said," No pets aloud!". Haru ignored the man and sat on a table while Veemon and wormon was looking around in awe at all delicious food.

Veemon dived a cart of food because he couldnt wait any longer but Wormon just sat down at the table slowly eating a piece of cake which flew at the table. He ran at Veemon and gripped his body tightly as he tried to pull him off the tray cart with all of his strength. In a couple of minutes they were kicked out of the resteraunt and banned for life. He sat down on the side walk and rubbed his stomach slowly as he stared at the sky again.

 

Kudamon popped his head out of her bag and began to look around anxiously. "What is it?" Skyler asked it.

He shook his head. "Nothing, I just thought... You should hurry up or you'll be late."

After all these years, she knew that it was hiding something, but decided that it was right about her needing to hurry. She ran down the sidewalk and past a restuarant where there seemed to be a commotion going on inside. She made a sharp turn and made it into the coffee shop with a few seconds to spare.

 

Haru raised his eyebrow at the girl that passed her. He grinned as he said," Veemon.. Wormon... follow her!!". He started to run neck to neck with her while running to the coffe shop with Veemon and Wormon infront of him. Haru said," Hi! I am Haru this is Veemon and Wormon! nice to meet you!". He smiled at her again and he arrived at the coffe shop first.

Haru opened the door and walked inside of the coffe shop and took out some money for the cashier at the counter. Haru said," 3 cups of coffe please..". The cashier gave him the cups of coffee and he slammed the money on the counter. He sat down with veemon sitting on another seat and wormon on the seat next to him so he gave Wormon a cup of coffee and Veemon a cup of coffee.

 

Skyler gaped at the boy as he sat down with his coffee, as if having digimon were the most normal thing in the world.

"See Sky?" a voice whispered from in the bag. "Some people aren't as paranoid as you."

She took off the bag and put it behind the counter, eying Haru warily. It wasn't often that she got to see other people with digimon, so he was a somewhat welcome sight. She shook her head and started to clean the expresso machine.

Haru started to laugh as Veemon and Wormon did a funny trick. He didn't mind that the people were staring at him so he countinued to talk with Veemon and Wormon while sipping his coffe. Haru asked," Hey guys do you want more coffe?". The both answered yes and he smiled at them.

Haru walked up to the counter with his wallet out. He smacked the counter repeatedly seeing that he saw no cashier there at the counter so Veemon and Wormon jumped onto the counter and jumped behind it. Haru yelled," Guys stop it!".
