    I don't carry bags... xD

But the point of whether I'd buy something because it's cool looking to me and fits my style, versus buying something with a brand label on it that isn't 'me', I'll always go for the thing that fits me. If there's something I like that is designer, sure, I'll get it, but it's not for the name. It's for the style itself. I've never understood why so many people get sucked into buying things that just because they have a name/symbol on them, they've just got to have it. If the item was pretty much the same, but without the symbol, I'd rather get the one without the designer label. It'll be cheaper and functions the same and I tend to like to put my own decals and stuff on clothes if I'm feeling particularly creative anyway. Go individuality!

    Gucci wallet $500 = Ugly

No name leather wallet $10 = Picture holder thingy, Looks nice

I'd go with the cheap wallet or whatever. Just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's worth it. Buying anything just because it has a label just makes you look vane and tacky.

lmfao archvice just said that he'd rather have a 10 dollar wallet he'd find in Chang's Card Collection compared to a Gucci wallet made out of something that won't rip apart LOL I GET IT

First of all, that's a dumb question. If you say which one would you buy, a designer bag that looks like shiit and a fake bag that's amazingly awesome, everyone would pick the second choice. Now if it was that the designer bag was made with more softer/whatever fabric compared to the fake bag which seems to be polyester, which one would you get?

I'm a fan of designer things. Not because "the rest are doing it", because no one that enjoys designer merchandise do it because the 10 others they know do it. I just have a liking for it, it's my type of taste. If I encounter a Louis Vuitton belt and an all black belt I found at like Walmart, I would recognize the difference in quality and almost feel a total change. See that's why it's designer and that's why it is more expensive. Designer items don't become expensive because of a manogram or symbol all the time. Usually the quality is very good, raising the price. Being like Amethyst whatever her name is, who thinks ugly designer bags show that they have no taste and are rich, spoiled biitches, will make you sound like a dumbass.

Obviously the fake one, if it's better and cheaper. No question. I hate this obsession with designer labels. It's so annoying.

I'd get the cheaper one - but I hate how people act towards you if you have designer stuff
Like my glasses are coach (And may I say the case, while cute, is tottaly worthless and is bent up and broken just from falling on the floor a couple of times) and people are like 'ohmigod why did you spend so much on your glasses!?!?! that's sooooo stupid'
they were on sale and they were cute ><
and then the preps come up and they're like 'ohmigod that's sooooo cute where did you get it!? The coach store!?"
and i'm like 'um... no my eye doctor'
    xD
and they just look at me like 'what...?'
oh I also have a coach-ripoff clutch and everyone thinks its real so :P

The cheap one. I don't care much for quality in bags. Plus, I'm a guy; I'd never buy the thing to begin with.

Truth. But, even if it were something a guy might buy - a Rolex, for instance, I would rather have a fake than a real one, just for price. The only thing I would rather have expensive is a computer, and then I go for quality, not name.

    ^There's also that

Sometimes I don't trust cheaper prices, because the quality might not be as good as the expensive one.

Designer objects to me is just paying for a insignia so I would prefer to buy beautiful, cheap objects.
P.S. I also hate designer objects when your friends tell you that they expect you to pay for it.

The fake one of corse. I mean it looks better and it's cheaper. Why would I buy a bag what looks bad and cost a lot?

I would pick the one that looked nice and not buy the one that was ugly just because it had a designer label. I could careless about designer things for it just means being like a sheep in a flock doing what someone else does. I have my own views and if I like it, I'll buy it.

Fake one. Personally no one would be able to recognize the difference unless they looked at the tag inside, which no one does anyway. My friends and I do it all the time when we go to New York.

Personally I don't really care if something is of brand name or not. But I would go with whatever looks okay/decent.

I'd go with the cheaper one.

I'd never buy anything based off of name alone.
