    First game is great too.
I would suggest Overclocked if you have a 3DS(or just wanna emulate.

Basically the more enemies you fight in a certain area, the less their exp worth will be in that area and overtime you'll get next to no exp at all until you advance to the next area. It basically makes sure you don't get overleveled.

    Oh, I see. That's clever.

    What is Overclocked?

I feel like some faith was restored in gaming humanity today.

There are 2 versions of the first game
    Devil Survivor for the DS
Devil Survivor: Overclocked for the 3DS
Overclocked features full voice acting as well as an extra 8th day for each ending(the game spans 7 days and can result in one of 5 endings)

You have to play Fallout 1.

If you like X-Com, Xenonauts is coming is coming out soon.

Would you be interested in a historical turn based RPG?

Alas, I do not have a 3DS yet. I will keep it in mind though.

    There is always hope.

Shogun and Rome total war come to mind for historical games, Rome I find fun, but can become very micro managing at times, Shogun is one I haven't played.

...Not sure how I feel about that. I would prefer a system where you can personally cap your level, to adjust the difficulty as you please. Sometimes I just grind so I can breeze through the game and take in the story all at once.

Get Shogun 2. It's better. You don't really have to micro-manage, just manage.

It's made by the same people who made Rome is it not? The enemy AI is ****ing terrible in Rome and if it's much the same as in Shogun 2 I probably wont bother.

    Yeah, same people.

They have improved the AI so much. It was always a problem in Total War games, but it has gotten so much better. They use logical tactics like flanking maneuvers and use of high ground, all that good stuff.

comically abusable in rome if you had a bridge, just stand pike men at one end with your weapons out and watch as hundreds of silly silly AI charge into the ends of them.

I remember that. Shogun 2 is nothing like that. You can destroy the enemy if you have highly trained samurai units against weaker enemy units, but as far as AI intelligence, it's pretty damn good.
