Demons, Vampires, Slayers...The End of the World Again!

"No, you're not, you're in pain," she cried.

 

"I know, I just don't want to get in your way", Leon said looking at his feet.

 

"You're not going to be in the way... you're going to be in trouble because i brought all this upon you... don't think it's your fault, it's clearly mine, and i don't want you to feel bad about it.. I feel horrible enough as it is seeing you hurt... I can't bear to see that again.. I can't bear to see you in pain," she trembled.

 

"If it didn't hurt i'd be hugging you right now", Leon chuckled before smiling.

 

She smiled softly.
"I can't imagine what you're going through..." she said, helping him to a seat.

 

"Yeah well you do heal quicker than me", Leon said sitting down slowly to avoid the pain.

 

She looked down, frowning.
"What's it like...being human? I forgot..." she said, holding his hand softly.

 

"Boring, life isn't very exciting for me. Well before I met you that is", Leon said smiling.

 

She couldn't help but smile at the last remark.
"So..big bad vampy's excited your life..." she chuckled, and sat beside him.
"Life as a vampire... isn't as good either... I wish I were human again," she said.

 

"But why do you want to be human? As a vampire you get stay as beau-", Leon started cutting himself off, "You get to stay looking the same forever".

 

jecht chuckled at that comment
"you havent told him have you?"

 

She knew what he was going to say and frowned. She sighed and looked down at her feet.
"Please excuse me a moment," she said, standing up and walking to Jecht.
"Tell him what?" she asked.

 

"hehehe nothing"
he turned to the door to leave

 

"Wait!" she yelled, standing in front of him.
"Tell me... you at least owe me that," she said, her face serious.

 

jecht grinned
"i dont have to do anything"

 

She felt like punching him.
"Please..." she struggled pleading him.

 

he laughed
"how are those reproduction systems doing"

 

She shook her head.
"What do you mean?" she asked.

 

jecht turned and ran out of the building
