Demons, Vampires, Slayers...The End of the World Again!

"Oh, its not really anything much i'm just an acountant", Leon said scratching his head with his other hand expecting more questions.

BIC: Dawn's shoulder burned. She slowly opened her eyes for what felt like the twentieth time that day. She was back in a bed, with another IV in her arm. There was bandage on her shoulder. It was stained with blood, and taped on. She tried to move her shoulder, and bit back a whimper. Fire raced through her arm. She leaned back. She hated being a liability to everyone. She looked over, and saw Spike and Angel standing there. "Hi, guys." she whispered. "Where is Missy?"

 

"She was just here, shes outside with the other guy", Spike said still not knowing his name, he never asked, it wasn't like he cared either way.

 

Dawn closed her eyes. "Is....is he still alive?" There was only one he she would ask about, but at the same time...she didn't want to know...Dawn opened her eyes, then scrutinized Angel and Spike's face. Spike's particularly. "Are you alright?" she whispered. Her voice seemed to be gone.

 

"We're perfectly fine", Spike answered, "And that vampire is gone".

 

Missy smiled, and heard Dawn's voice from behind her. She smiled and would let her rest a few more minutes.
"How old are you?" she asked, swinging her hips.

Dawn closed her eyes again. "I'm such a failure." she whispered. With her eyes closed, she saw faces...faces of dead people....but who were they? Anger ran through her veins all of a sudden, giving her strength. She got up from the bed quickly, ran over to Spike, yanking the IV out, and shook him. "Why didn't you give me up!?" she shouted. "Why didn't you let him take me!?"

 

"Twenty", Leon answered hearing Dawn's voice, She sounds okay. He was releaved that she was fine, who knows what could of happened if she wasn't.

Spike grabbed Dawn enough to hold her steady while avoiding her injuries, "And let Buffy beat mine and Angel's ass' around", Spike said, "Besides no one died".

 

"Ahh," she smiled, then heard Dawn yelling. She turned and ran into the room, pushing Spike away from her.
"Hey! Don't touch her..." she said, then turned back to Dawn.
"Sweetie, you okay?" she asked.

 

"Woah there", Spike said backing up still.

Leon entered the room looking confused. But isn't he here to help her?

 

Dawn trembled, the anger leaving as quickly as it came. "You could have died....you all could have been killed...." she hugged Missy, also using her as support. "He wanted me...do you know why he wanted me? Did he tell you?" She shivered.

 

Missy held onto her, feeling her weight on her. She needed support. She picked her up. For a vampire, she was very strong, and She weighed as much as ten pounds to her. She put her back in the bed.
"Sweetie.... rest," she smiled, then looked back at Spike.
"What they hell are you thinking!? Grabbing her like that!" she shouted.

 

Dawn struggled to sit up. "It wasn't him, Missy." she whispered, coming to Spike's defense. "It was me."

 

Missy turned to look back at her.
"What happened sweetie? Why is that.... stalker .... after you?" she asked.

 

"I don't know..." Dawn struggled with the images in her mind. Dead faces....blood....then another face came up, that made her eyes snap open. "He wanted me......because of my heritage...because of my blood....he wanted to make me into a vampire...." she shivered, then winced. Her bullet wound burned. "We need to get out of here." she whispered. "Can we go, please?"

OOC: Where did Fayt-Highwind and Crimson go?

 

"No... you're safe here sweetie.. I'll personally make sure you won't become a vampire..." she said.

 

Dawn shook her head, trying to get back up. "Then you stay here, and I'll go away. He might not be the only one. And they might come after all of you." she whispered. Her shoulder burned, but she was determined not to be a liabilty, not anymore.

 

"Dawn... I can't help you if you don't stay here, and let us protect you. We're glad to help you... Well.. I am, but i don't know about Dumb and Dumber over there," she pointed at Angel and Spike.

 

Dawn stifled a laugh, then winced. "Okay." she whispered. "I'll try to stay here." Her eyes took in the shades that were drawn, the shadows on the wall. "What time is it?" she asked.

 

She checked her cellphone, glad that Leon brought her stuff back to her.
"A little after eight AM," she said, smiling.
