Demons, Vampires, Slayers...The End of the World Again!

Missy heard the roar of a car, and honking. She rolled out of the way, she was in the middle of the street. She sat on the lines, trapped by the cars rushing by.
"Hold on Dawn!" she shouted up to the window, doubting they could hear her.

 

Thomas winced, then held Dawn out the window. "You hurt me, I drop her." he stated.

Dawn was hanging in the air. She only knew, because she could feel the wind rushing by. Her vision was tunnely, but she hung on. Missy was safe, Leon was safe, and so were Spike and Angel. That's all that mattered. Dawn smiled to herself. Even if she died, she had saved them.

 

"Dawn!" she called out. She watched the roads, then jumped over a car, running over to the building, scaling it. She was tired, and exaughsted. She felt the rain letting up, and a sudden heat flash. She looked behind her. The darkness was being replaced. The sun would be up in ten minutes, max... She whimpered then got halfway up the building. If he dropped her, Missy would catch her.

 

Spike grinned, "I don't think you will if you know who she is", Spike said, "Don't tell me you haven't heard of her sister", he continued hoping to scare Thomas.

 

Missy was a few feet under her, she tapped her foot to alert her. She stayed against the building, hiding from Thomas.
She overheard Spike talking. She was a little confused...

 

"I don't care about her sister." Thomas loosened his grip on Dawn a little. "Dead, this one is no good to you. It doesn't matter to me, though it would be more 'enjoyable' if she were alive." he smiled darkly.

Dawn noticed Missy below her, but didn't make a sound. She didn't want Thomas to use his gun. But if he was going to, she would make sure it wasn't on her friends.

 

Enjoyable? What kind of sick bastard is this? she thought to herself. She watched him closely, waiting for him to drop her.

"Are you sure the name Buffy doesn't mean anything", Spike said knowing very well what that name could do, she was a legend a fear to all vampires.

Leon stopped at the room seeing Spike handling Thomas while Dawn dangled from the window he was powerless to do anything.

 

OOC: five more minutes :(

BIC:Thomas grinned. "I know her name, its part of the reason I need Dawn." Thomas looked down at the girl. She was pale as hell, and must be close to death from the spell. "The other reason is her heritage. Don't tell me you don't know what she is." he mocked, putting his free hand in his pocket.

Dawn closed her eyes. Even now she could feel his intentions. She opened them and looked down at Missy in panic.

 

Missy froze, hearing that name... She was hanging around the sister of the Buffy!? She shook off the paranoia. Dawn helped her, and it didn't matter. She wanted to make sure she was safe, whether she was gonna get killed or not...

 

Spike grinned and tightened his grip on Thomas' shoulder, "I know what she is", He said expecting the best to come from this situation even though he had no idea that Missy was there as a saftey net.

 

Dawn reached up slowly, then with her other hand tried to free her wrist from his grip. She closed her eyes, trying to shock him one more time.

Thomas grinned. "Fine then." He pulled out his gun, pointed it at Dawn, and pulled the trigger. There was a shot, then he jumped out the window.

Dawn screamed as she fell, losing even more blood from the gunshot wound.

Missy jumped out and grabbed Dawn, using one hand to hold onto the building.
"Hold on!" she called out. She looked up and pulled Dawn up, careful from her gunshot wound. She jumped up one story, then another until she was in the room where Spike was. She held Dawn up and showed Spike she had her.
"Take her," she breathed.

 

Norah had fallen asleep for a few minutes. Her leg still hurt, but at least it had stopped bleeding. She looked up at the sky. The moon was setting. Even though the sun would not rise for a bit longer, she felt somewhat more like her human self already. She looked over at Jacob to see if he was still awake.

 

Spike took Dawn from Missy and ran her to a doctor for medical attention.

Leon stood at the door of Dawn's hospital room, he felt useless, he couldn't help either of them.

 

Missy fell from the window to the floor, exhausted. The sun was ready to rise again, and it already made her tired. her eyes were closed, and she was tired.
"I wanna go home," she cried.

Jacob watched her when she slept. He whined slightly, stood up, stretching.

 

Leon closed the curtains to stop the light from coming in when it does. "I'll get you home as soon as possible", Leon said, his experience in the day and night where difficult for him to take in and it was only just catching up on how quick it all happened.

 

She breathed slowly, and kept her eyes closed. The cold floor made her dizziness calm, and she felt the blood stop bleeding from her body. She fell asleep, peacefully for the first time that night.
