Actually, Kira can accuse each other.

However, I find that to be a bit cowardly way out.

And you can't withdraw your accusations... Unless you do it within the time during which editing doesn't show up and no one sees it.

In my opinion.

 

You could have been given the death note again by chance, or it could have passed on to you. Who knows? It's just what I think

Yeah he did because people were giveing their DNs away and then accusing the other Kira so they could win the game.

Quite simply, if the Kira bore me, I kill them. Now I don't find much dull, but not following your objective is definitely yawn-inducing. A Kira's job is to create a new world. Accusing another Kira goes directly against this objective, akin to scoring an own goal in soccer. Ergo, Kira accusing each other gets them killed. And the accusation doesn't go through.

Speaking of death though...

Light Yagami is found with a butcher's knife in each eye socket, with his own fingerprints on the handle. The knives quite clearly pierced the brain. Pinned to his skull by the knives was a note, saying "revenge is meaningless".

As for the retraction of accusations: I'm for it, personally, as it adds another level of depth to the game. Screw up in accusations? You can take it back. Convinced the person is innocent? You can take it back. Accuse the real Kira? The Kira can now try to sweet talk you into retracting your accusation.

What say the players?

BTW, Mako was L. Any hints he may have received went with him to the grave. He had no successor. And so ended the L-egacy.
