Ha, it's funny. All Americans should at least have a tea kettle, but I don't.

Well, I know a lot of elderly people do...

 

No we use gas powered cups that pour tea itself so that America doesn't lift it's finger to pour tea. Ya know just one more job we don't gotta do.
(My grandparents do)

 

Its just us British have a tiny obsession with tea.

I've never drank tea. I stick with my hot chocolate.

Well, I have a water cooler that can give you cold or hot water instantly.

 

Well, folk use hot water for more than just tea. Just pointin' that out.

I use a tea kettle to make hot water for my oatmeal in the morning. :D

 

I've used a kettle to make hot water. Also you can make potato chips in a kettle. whee. I do have a water cooler though that does make hot water but it only does like a couple cups worth at a time so if I have people over I boil water the ol fashioned way.
