I actually saw the whole thing, and I liked it. I like how they had Kairi without that skirt or whatever. They should actually put her like that in a later game as well. And her fighting was awesome.

Oh, I never even noticed that was a Valor Form thing. But yeah, I wish it was more than just fan-based. This guy is really good at designs, and that keyblade design is just perfect as well.

well KH itself is a derivation of Disney and FF, so i dont see why not, considering the idea is amazing, not to mention those epic CGI scenes...

This makes me desire real news of a main installment game of KH...

Re-Coded last boss uses several flying keyblades, some of his moves are quite similar to what Kairi does here.

Just so you know, I wasn't implying that this was anything official. Yes, Dead Fantasy has nothing to do with Square Enix or Team Ninja, like I said it's solely done by Monty Oum. Still I figured in this news drought that it would be exciting/different to post something like this.

Though I do personally think that Nomura should realize how awesome it would be to have a playable Kairi or Namine similar to Monty's versions in future games. I mean just look at the pictures you posted, who wouldn't want that?

Aww, you got my hopes up. I thought this was going to be a new preview. That said, it's still cool to be able to watch it without hearing stuff like:

For those of you who don't know, Monty is the Animator for Red Vs. Blue. Not to advertise, but you can tell he's pretty damn talented if you've ever seen his stuff there as well.

It just makes Kairi more of a good character and less of the crappy princess we all love to hate.
The way she transforms into Naminé is clever (those Keyblades are amazing) and the inclusion of Vincent is just awesome.

Who knows what could happen though. I mean, after what happened to Tifa anything goes.
