Darkest Castle

"What, for just stepping on the border? I've done that millions of times, and no one's caught me once. I just wanted to see if I could sell anything. But oh well... So, how are you a mistake?" Eden asked.

 

Ixion got up. He was limping from the groin blow. "Cheap shot..." he muttered under his breath. He took off the chainmail thong. "It's a good thing I made these skin tight and lock into place like shoes..." He looked at the drow. "I was saving some of these for attacking the castle, but you deserve some of them." He took out a medium-sized firework from the bag and lit it with a small spark of electricity. "Here ya go!" he said watching it fly and home in on the target.

 

"I was born thats my mistake," Nox said.

 

"... Well, if you're born... You have to have a reason in this world. If we can just get out of here, then maybe we can find our purpose in the world." Eden looked at the chains and frowned.

 

"Enough playing around..." He spoke coldly. Shadowstepping towards Ixion, Vallyn slid a shamshir under the firework, breaking it in mid-flight, while the second shamshir came out of the shadows in a ghastly light, shimmering with death. The blade quickly inched in near Ixion's neck, the other shamshir curving in for a defensive parry.

 

"We can't get out. Death is the only way out," Nox said.

 

Someone grabed Liz's sholder.

 

"Now who ever said that? Nothing is impossible!" Eden smiled. "And besides, I've never told you, I'm able to shift shapes."

 

"the chains change shape around you," Nox said, "I've tryed."

 

"Oh.... Damn." Eden said to herself. "So, has there been anything you haven't tried?"

 

"no," Nox said sadly.

 

"So... When someone dies in here, what do they do with the bodies?" Eden asked, getting a small idea.

 

"They stab the body three times and throw it out side the castle," Nox said.

 

"I wouldn't try that," it was the Dark Lord.

 

"Nevermind....." Eden said, bleakly.

 

Nox looked at the floor.

 

"Well... I'm out of ideas...." Eden sighed.

 

Ixion grabbed the shamshir near his throat by the blade and ripped it out of the hands of the wielder. As the second blade neared, he used Vallyn as a stepping stone and jumped over him. When he landed, he turned towards the drow. "Surprising how I'm not dead yet. Dark elves are known for their fast kills." He pointed the blade of the shamshir at its owner. "And didn't your parents ever tell you not to play with knives?"

 

"My father tested every thing in here he can only barely escape it," Nox said.

 

" Man... Well... THen who's your father? The Dark Lord?" Eden asked.
