Danny had to smile. "Remind me again why we're going to Nasty Burger for breakfast."

 

"Well, cuz your friend Tucker over here wanted a heart attack in greasy bag." Sam said

 

Danny shouldered his backpack. "I guess I can try to do Lancer's homework while we're there."

 

"You know, that's the best idea you've had in weeks!" Sam said joking around with him.

 

"I just don't want another detention," Danny said as an excuse.

 

Sam put her hand on Danny's shoulder. "I don't want you to get detention either, like who am I supposed to have fun with, Tucker?"

 

"Tucker's fun," Danny objected.

 

"Danny are you kidding yourself? Have you seen what I do on the weekends when you aren't working?"

 

Danny cringed at the thought. "Alright then. I'm deffinately going to get this homework done before Lancer's class."

 

"That's the spirit!" Sam exclaimed.

 

"Good. If you don't have to work tonight, you and Sam could go on a date, while I stay home talking to other geeks."

 

"Tucker!" Danny nearly shouted. "I... uh... I'll probably have something to do... so... um..."

 

Sam blushed

"Oh, so you're too busy to hang out with me?"

 

"I just checked your schedule. If you don't have to work tomorrow, then you are free to do anything."

 

"No, Sam, that's not it," Danny tried to amend. "I'm just saying that a ghost could come at any time. I have to watch Vlad's every move now too."

 

"Is that sooo" Sam glared at Danny "So much for being busy, eh?"

 

Danny frowned. "I'm doing all I can."

 

"Right. Look, you two go out and see a movie. I call if anything ghostly happens, okay?"

 

"We've got to get through the school day first," Danny mumbled.

 

"Whatever" Tucker replied.
