D23 2026 officially started yesterday and shocked Kingdom Hearts fans with a few big announcements (and is now being reported about today due to technical difficulties with KHV)!

First off, we got a new short trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV (with English voices!), confirming a new world based on the 2017 Disney-Pixar hit, Coco, with actor Benjamin Bratt confirmed to reprise his role as the villainous Ernesto de la Cruz! Plus, we also got a timeframe for the game's release, aiming for late 2027! Check out the trailer below:

But that's not all! It was also announced that an official Kingdom Hearts anime is in the works for Disney+ and the Disney Channel, featuring an original storyline with Tetsuya Nomura's involvement!
