"sorry...about scareing you..." said Kairi, she smiled at sota.

 

Sota smiled, then looked down, away from Kairi, "I'm sorry, too..."

 

"Why are you sorry?" said Kairi. looking at sota, her smile faded slightly.

 

Sota ran his fingers through his hair, avoiding eye contact with Kairi, "I'm...not being entirely honest with you. One of the reasons why I got so scared was...well, mainly because of what happened the other night...I didn't plan on stealing the Towa no Hana. That happened at the last minute," Sota gulped, "I...I was afraid of what you'd say, what you might do..."

 

"sota..." said Kairi, "I don't care about you stealing the Towa no Hana... i understand that is what Dark does."

 

"I know that now," Sota nodded. He finally looked into Kairi's eyes, "but at the time...I was so certain that I'd disappointed you in some way, that I...that I had proven those girls right...that you shouldn't be with me because of it...I know you like me for who I am, but all of it went up in smoke when I felt like I wasn't being honest with you."

 

"Okay..." said Kairi she looked at the ground now thinking of somethig to say.

 

Sota looked away, "I'm sorry...really, I am."

 

"It's okay...Sota.." said Kairi.

 

Sota moved closer to Kairi, and hugged her.

"Thanks," he whispered.

 

Kairi hugged Sota back. "Your welcome." whispered kairi underher breath.

 

Sota moved back from the hug. His face was a few inches away from Kairi's. He smiled.

 

Kairi stoped hugging movegn away slightly. Kairi smiled back, she looked into sota's eyes.

 

Sota looked into Kairi's eyes.

 

"uh..." said Kairi thinking of something to say agian.

 

Sota smiled as Kairi was trying to find something to say.

 

Kairi sighed, while giveing up, she looked at the ground.

 

Sota laughed silently at Kairi. He moved closer, sitting next to Kairi, and put his arm around her shoulders.

 

Kaii looked at sota. Slightly leaning on him.

 

Sota closed his eyes and smiled as Kairi leaned on him. He reached with his free arm, and gently held her hand.

"Let me know if I'm pushing it...going too fast," he whispered.
