~Crossover Cove: OOC Thread 2.0~

I'm adding two people to my reserves for now.

Crowe Broust (Super Robot Wars Z2)
Esther Elhas (Super Robot Wars Z2)

For those that don't know; these two are original characters from the game Super Robot Wars Z2, but both quite capable mecha pilots.
I do have a slight problem though, and that is that Crowe is supposed to upgrade his mecha into one of two radically different units at some point, and I've no idea what I should do about that. I could either go with a melee-based Super Robot, a ranged-based Real Robot, or I could attempt to come up with some reason for him to switch between them, but that would be... very difficult.
Any input on the matter would be appreciated, even though most of you won't know much about the series.

Ranged it is. We need more ranged people in this world of madness.

 

Hmm...A toughie indeed...Maybe, is there a way you could make his mech into a transformer-type deal, and his entire mech transforms around him into the different variations? Or would that be too radical of a change to his mech?

Very few, because not many people know or care about the Latern Corps.
