My Pokemon White cartridge keeps on crashing...
It's just horrible.
Every time I load it, when it tries to tell me it's Autumn suddenly it freezes and makes a horrible sound.

I had such a great team too... If I can't get this fixed (I've reloaded like a hundred times now and it just keeps happening) I'm gonna be pretty pissed. :/

are you using an AR or something? Or maybe you just need to clean the DS. I've had it happen a few times to me on a few other games.

 

I've used AR for the Walk Through Walls code... It saves me from Teaching my Pokemon annoying HM's to cut down a tree etc...
Regardless though, it's never effected my game before.

hmm, gotta be careful of those things. Sometimes when you touch the AR a little too much it freezes the game, or in your case, it just freezes before it even starts. I've got the exact same problem with mine. I hardly use it though, I just keep it in for any time I might use it, but just having it in can cause the freezing. That, and the walk through walls I think is the glitchest code, so it's most likely to freeze up your game. Are you trying to play with the game in the AR or not?

I've been trying it even without the AR device.
Nothing is working... :/
It literally loads, says it is autumn and then bam... my game freezes.
Before that, it froze twice in the same place at Route 6, after that, when I tried reloading, it kept freezing at the autumn screen...

I really hope I can fix it somehow... I don't want to have to start all over again... :/
I've heard something with magnets can be done, but I don't wanna risk that... :S

But I,eh,threw my ds at a wall...and everything got better :3

 

Oh man, do NOT use anything with magnets. I don't know what you could do with them, but I do know you have a high chance of breaking your DS if it's a strong enough magnet. But yeah, if it's really going on even after you don't use the AR the code as "leaked" into your game, I should say. So basically, that glitch with the code is now in the save file. So you can keep trying, but you're most likely going to have to restart. Sorry

 

It's not that they're used on the DS but the cartridges themselves.
But yes, I never intended to use it in the first place... :/

figured. I told you it was the cheat. Actually, I was about the ask if you might have saved when someone might have been in the walls. Oh well, glad you found an answer, hopefully

I never noticed if someone had got stuck in the wall... but problem solved.
And I am never using that code again, even though I now know how to get around it.

I never use that code. I find no fun in it. if you use it than it takes away all the fun of the travelling and stuff. I only use the 9999BP and 900 Recovery Item from codejunkies.com

 

It's the only code I was using.
As I said, I only ever activate it to get past a bloody tree.
Or to dodge an annoying Rock.
I mean, I don't want to teach my Pokemon silly moves like cut... *pouts* lol
But meh, I'll sort something out. XD

 

do what I do, get an HM slave. I get a patrat or soemthing and teach it cut, and since you only need it like 5 times or so in the whole game, get another pokemon and teach it strength. Then I just teach my Samurott Surf and waterfall(although I need to find a better way to do that, since it only gives me 2 other slots for moves). And of course I teach my Unfezant Fly. That's really all you need.

 

Yeah, but then that means you have a useless HMwhore taking up party space.

Regardless, I have my Braviary with fly, and Milotic with surf.
I don't mind those moves anyway.
But alas, the HMwhore will have to suffice.
