Creatures of the Night

OOC: Hmm, uhmm... it's not that much to read.. Just the dance where Jessica goes insane XDDD then her HERO carried her to his room ;D

BIC:

Jessica began to dream. It was the night she was turned, of course. Then, life was so simple, and she didn't have the burn in her throat lately. She could see her world crashing in her head.

 

OOC: Okay. I'll wait a bit longer then.

 

OOC: *facepalm*

BIC: Raine returned to the building and took the elevator to the 7th floor instead of walking on a full stomach.

 

Jessica opened her eyes, and they were in a foggy blue color, almost bright. Her pupil wasn't it's beautiful shiny black anymore. It was a medium bright blue.
She couldn't see herself in the apartment building no more. She saw herself back in human life. She'd heard of vampires having their own strengths, quickness, and mind energy, but she hadn't heard of this. She just stared at the wall, but in her eyes, she was staring at the backstreet of an alleyway, and she was scared, in her appearance.

 

Raine left the elevator and into the apartment. Straight away he went into the kitchen part of the room without noticing Jessica at all.

OOC: lol nice. At least you didn't get up in the middle of the night and decide to check on KHV xDDD

BIC: Jessica's eyes snapped out of the blue stage, and she couldn't see her human life anymore. Her head whipped forward and she caught herself before going forward too fast. She looked around, seeing Raine had returned.
"How was your hunt?" she asked.

 

Raine walked back out of the kitchen and stood there looking at her, "Not much of a hunt if everyone is the prey", he smirked. "If your fine now you can leave, i've done as you asked", he said turning back into the kitchen to the sound of the kettle boiling.

 

She felt as if she were a bother now. She nodded and stood up. Her head still ached, but she didn't feel 'okay' after that little blast to the past. She headed to the door and twisted the knob. She sighed.
"Sorry if I was a pest," she said, then walked out, closing the doors. She felt like crying again. Though, she always felt like crying if she felt bad about something. She walked to the elevator, not able to use the steps. Her mind kept going back in to her past every few seconds, like tiny flashbacks.

 

Raine had the feeling that he hadn't seen the last of her, he knew that from her knowing the name he goes by would mean that hunting would become more challenging.

 

She stepped into the elevator, and instantly knew that she wouldn't be the same anymore. After meeting him, she'd knew she would try to see him, more often. he wasn't just any 'vampire'. He was the one who could possibly help her. The elevator dinged, and she stepped out, walking back down the hallway, and entering the dark streets that was no longer her playground, but now her prison.

 

Raine made a hot drink even though he knew he couldn't taste it and it wouldn't effect him but he liked drinking it. He walked over to his tightly shut black curtains and looked out the window to view the city.

 

She started dashing down the street's, still disorientated. She stopped and turned around, looking as if she were lost. Truth was, she actually was lost. She hadn't been near this side of town in a long long time. Her eyes were red now, ravenous. She hadn't fed today. She ran up behind an alleyway, looking for someone to feed on, no matter who it was. With her luck, the first human she'd see is a child.

 

Rainr drank his drink and looked at the sky, "Still got some time before the sun comes up", he said. He put the cup down and left his apartment locking the door behind him as he took the stairs to take more time before he got outside.

 

She found a girl, wandering the alleyway. What would a teenager be doing in an alleyway in the middle of the night? Probably drug dealing. She didn't care. She ran at her, hearing the piercing scream as she bit into her neck without killing her first.

 

Raine heard the scream not far from him, it sounded young and female. Either someone was in trouble or someone was feeding. He had an inkling of who might be feeding close by and went to see.

 

Jessica finished feeding on the girl and shoved her body to the wall. She shuddered, the taste of blood dripping from the sides of her mouth. She fell against the wall, unable to feed on the blood. She turned to the side and coughed up half the blood she fed on. She couldn't fully feed on them, but she can't stop once she begins.

 

Raine stopped not far from Jessica and watched her cough up the blood she had drank, the victim was young which was odd. He didn't know why Jessica couldn't drink the girls blood.

 

She slid down the wall, and wiping her mouth with her arm, which she didn't really care much for. The foul taste stung on her tongue. She saw Raine when she glanced up. Her face was now pale, and her face looked saddened. She looked away.
"So what was that? at least five minutes?" she asked, trying to get up to leave, so she wouldn't be a pest. She wasn't as strong as she was, and she decided not to move... If he didn't want her com[any he would go back to the apartment building. The blood was a poison to her for some reason if she drank it all.

 

"I'd say seven", Raine said as he continued walking on, he had proven that it was infact that girl. He knew if he stayed there to long humans with weapons would come, that scream attracted him so it would definetly attract others.

 

Jessica still sat in the alleyway, unknowing what she would attract. She tried standing up again, making it successful... She went deeper in the alleyway, and jumped up on the buildings, using the strength she last had. She walked to her house on the other side of town. It was an old run down one, but she could manage.
