It's always worked for me, since the moment Janime showed us the transparent code.

As did I.
Black isn't transparent on the BbSFM skin~

Though slate grey used to do the job in the Nobodies Reprieve skin. X3

What can you see here?

What can you see here?

What can you see here?

Here I am, wondering the riddles of this site.

Nope, if it works for one skin it doesn't work for the others...
So, we won't have a 100% fool proof Invisi-text.

I'll have to be sure and remember this color. Off to my post templates.

Also, this is as awesome as it used to be when we would mess around with text color back in the Nobodies Reprieve skin. Ah, 2010~

In theory, "invisible text" shouldn't be too hard to program. It should just look at the skin and figure out what the background color is. I would think the hardest part would be getting the code to know if it was in a quote box or not.
I assume that is what "transparent" is supposed to do, since some people claim success with it, but it definitely doesn't work here.

Correction: it is does not work on all browsers, or not all browsers are compatible with that script/CSS attribute.

On what hardware? I get perfectly matching text forum wide, on all skins with the transparent color, in all browsers that I have tried.

Oh wow, you guys are right...

It works on FireFox but it doesn't work on Chrome.
At least, from my point of view.

Okay, it works on IE but ONLY in the Dark skins.
Which, defeats the whole point.

On FF it works on ALL the skins, FOR ME.
On GC it doesn't work at all. on ANY skin.

Depends on what you are using. The "transparent" color, or the [*/color] thing you were talking about earlier?

The same thing. I was looking at the first line in my own post.
In which I used [*/color].

EDIT: Let me take some screen Caps using my brother's FireFox. brb

Ah, you used the * to stop it from coding. For future reference, this works.

EDIT: I just checked, and it doesn't work on Chrome. Damn you and your scripting complications, Chrome... Firefox is clearly the superior browser.

PostScript: I could write a script that would fix this if I had some time and a chance to mess with the coding. Custom BBC is my cup of tea...

Yes, otherwise the code would activate. even if there's no words inside of it.

So, Now you code?
Is there actually something you CAN'T do? /sarcasm

The pin does say 'Jack of All Trades'.

Yes. I can't do anything at the professional level. Other than critiquing.

I seem to be pretty good at critiquing.
