"Oh wow." he said.

 

"I think he found someone new though, which is good" She smiled, "I want him to be happy"

 

"Yeah." he said, smiling.

 

"They've been dating for about a year now. Ben never really considers a person to be married wise until close to 3 years. I sometimes think that too," She laughed at herself.

 

"I see." he said, smiling.

 

Lexi stopped talking because she fell asleep.

 

He glanced back and chuckled, still following her brother.

 

Ben finally arrived at their house. He parked in the garage and opened the front door for Henry.

 

Henry pulled in next to him.

 

Ben relaxed in his house and got a drink from the fridge.

 

Henry got out and brought Lexi inside.

 

Lexi was barely awake when she got into the house. "It's fine, I can walk to my room" Lexi said getting out of Henry's arms and made her way to the stairs. Ben called from the kitchen, "Henry, do you want a drink?"

 

"Do you have Diet Dr. Pepper?" he asked.

 

"Yup," Ben said going downstairs to the basement to get the drink. Lexi was trying to go up the stairs but slipped on the third step and hit her head on the rail. "ow..." she quietly said.

 

"Let me help you." he said, running to her and helping her up.

 

"Okay," she said and let him help her. Ben brought the drink up and left it on the counter. He went to check on Lexi. Ben felt her head and said, "oh, you're having a fever," he said "Henry will stay here while I go pick up a few things, plus dinner" He said and kissed her on the forhead.

 

"That I will." he said.

 

After Ben left, they were left still at the staircase, "Don't leave me..." Lexi whispered to him.

 

"I won't." he said. He helped her to her room.

 

Lexi had a huge king size bed with such soft sheets and blankets. Lexi got into the bed and covered herself in the huge large warm blanket.
