College Life

Lexi just slept a little while longer.

 

Henry brushed his hair and put deodorant on. He also put a little cologne on, hoping Lexi would like it.

 

Lexi woke up to the radio in her alarm clock. She checked the time. "OH ****!" she said and got off the bed. She had half an hour to get ready. She grabbed her straightener and plugged it in. She put on her dress and applied her makeup while the straightener was heating up.

 

After checking himself in the mirror, and headed out to a store to buy her a small flower for her hair and maybe some chocolates.

 

Lexi kept her hair down and straightened it neatly. She was finding the right pair of shoes.

 

He bought her a pretty flower for her hair and headed for her dorm.

 

Lexi couldn't decide which heels to wear. She couldn't decide on 2 pairs of shoes

 

He reached her door and knocked on it.

 

Lexi was surprised by the knock. She walked up to open it

 

"Hey." he said, smiling. "You almost ready?"

 

"Mhmm, almost," She said opening her door open to see a massive pile of shoes on her floor. "I think I found of pair of shoes that I liked.. but I can't find the other shoe," She said holding up one of them.

 

"Let me help." he said.

 

"Alright," Lexi said started organizing her shoes and putting them back in place.

 

Henry looked through her shoes as she sorted them out. He noticed one shoe that didn't match any others. He picked it up and asked "Is this it?"

 

Lexi already put the first shoe on her foot. "Yup that's it," she said and walked over to him.

 

He handed her the shoe and said "I got you something."

 

Lexi fixed on her other shoe. "Oh really? You didn't have to" She said walking to her mirror to check her make up

 

He walked up behind her and put the flower in her hair, right above her ear.

 

"It's so pretty, thank you" She smiled at him through the mirror.

 

"You're welcome." He said, smiling back.
