College Life

Hailey bit her lip nervously, looking around as she clutched her sheet music in her hands. Which way was the piano room...? She thought, sighing. She realized that she was lost, now. Great... I should've just stayed in the dorm... Oh, dear...

 

Michael was driving back to the university. Someone at the party was dumb enough to bring alchohol even though everyone there was under the age limit. So, the police had tested every person there one by one to see if they had drank any of it. Those who did, were taken away for further questioning. Those who didn't, like Michael, were simply forced to go back to their homes.
"Can't believe this..." Michael said.
He parked in the student parking lot and began to walk inside.

 

Hailey noticed Michael, but she simply looked down, too nervous to ask him where the piano room was. She shuffled around in her sheet music, looking for a map. I'm sure I had one... She thought, but she didn't see one.

 

Michael began walking to his dorm. It was nighttime, so it was kind of hard to see.
"What a night." Michael muttered as he touched the door handle to the Boy's Dorm building.
Just as he was about to enter, he turned and saw the girl who had been playing the piano. Even though it was dark, he knew it was her.
"Hey there." Michael said, walking up to her. "You lost?"

 

"Well..... people said that I wanted to have sex with a bunch of guys at a party. Which was totally not true. I drank a bit but someone knocked me out. yes I did have sex... I just didn't want to do it. I." she choked the words out. "I was raped,"

 

"Oh no." he said, a little shocked. "I'm sorry to hear that." He felt bad for bringing it up.

 

Hailey looked up, surprised by him coming over to her. "Oh... umm... yes..." She stammered and acidentially dropped some of her sheet music. She blushed and picked it up, embarassed.

 

Michael grinned.
"You're funny, you know that?" he said. "So, what are you looking for? Maybe I could help."
He took off his sunglasses and put them in his pocket.

 

"Apparently, six different guys did it to me and one of them was my boyfriend from a long time ago So I got scared and went to the doctors. I wasn't pregnant. Thank god for that too." She asked the waiter to come to them, "Um yeah, can I have some wine please?" The waiter nodded and left. "All those guys went to tell their friends that little miss goodie goodie got ****ed over," The waiter returned and poured into Lexi's glass and Henry's glass. "Thanks," She said to the waiter. Lexi picked up her wine glass and took a sip. "That's how those rumors started,"

 

"I... um... can't remember which way the piano room was..." She said softly.

 

OOC- you guys type fast, and alot, its not a bad thing, its just that if you miss like an hour you have to read like 5 pages

BIC- Zack had been walking around, just taking a full look at the campus. then he noticed someone familiar, Zack walked up to him, "hey, Micheal right?"
He asked. then he noticed a girl with him, "hi" he said to her, "my name is Zack, whats yours?"

 

Hailey hugged her piano music tighter. "H-Hi..." She whispered, looking down at her feet, nervously. "I-I'm Hailey..."

 

"Hey Zack." Michael said, smiling.
"C'mon Hailey." Michael said, motioning for her to follow him. "You needed the piano room, right?"

 

"R-Right...!" She said and hurried after him, her black hair only vaguely noticeable as it flowed behind her in the darkness. Her cheeks were red with nervousness and embarassment, though she was smiling.

 

Michael ran up the stairs, occasionally looking back to smile at Hailey. Finally, they reached a quiet dark room with a few pianos in it.
"Here it is." he said, letting her walk in before him. "You any good?"
He already knew that she was fantastic at the piano from listening to her, but he didn't want her to think that he had been stalking her or something.

 

"I see." he said. "If I ever meet any of those guys, I'll hurt them so bad! How dare they take advantage of you! But don't worry, I would never do anything like that."

 

Hailey smiled, happy to have reached the piano room. "Thank you..." She said softly. She was surprised by his question. "U-Umm... Not really..." She said, blushing and looking down. "I-I've still got quite a bit to learn..."

 

"Really?" Michael said, grinning again.
He sat down next to Hailey at a piano, setting up her music for her.
"Show me." he said.

 

Zack walked around a little more, he knew where the piano room was so he thought he would stop by, he knocked, "can I come in and listen?" he asked

 

"O-Okay..." Hailey said, surprised again. She sat down next to him on the stool, blushing. She smiled and looked at the sheet music, beginning to play "River Flows in You" again. She smiled as she played, her tension and nervousness flooding away. For parts of the song that she knew very well, she would close her eyes and just listen to the melody. This was one of her favorites, because it was so relaxing and it made her feel like she was by herself, with nothing to worry about at all. The song flowed from the piano softly and she slid her fingers across the keys with ease, thanks to years of practice.
