"Dad? "one laughed,judging from the way his nose was it was Jackson,the one who'd attacked maddie while she was human"so Much for not wanting kids."

"Mickey snarled,loudly

"Daddy..."Elena whimpered,clutching his jeans tightly"dont."

 

Lake growled darkly at them, her need for self restraint getting more and more.

 

"what are they here for?"


"To help...they never helped....they only ever caused problems..."

" You caused the problems Michael....for not standing aside when the Cullen's time was up....for not standing aside when your precious twin sister was carrying something that could have killed us all....it was always you."

 

"Well from where I'm standing you lot are being the aggressors in this situation." Hermia said, tapping her foot impatiently and folding her arms.

 

"I wasnt talking about now.....I meant before you were even thought about."he snarled


"No wonder Dad left....you lot think your so great"River said,snapping his teeth slightly

 

Hermia growled darkly at the group.

 

He laughed "You'd better watch those kids.....they'll get into trouble with people who should be left alone....they've got big mouths."

"you'd actually try and fight a bunch of kids? how low can you get...Listen....touch them....and Im gonna enjoy ripping your throat open..."Mickey muttered

 

"You can try and do something. You can try." She snarled darkly at the other wolf.

 

he snarled back

"I wouldnt...."Mickey warned

 

"What are you doing here anyway? We know what you supposedly want, but why here?" Lake suddenly butted in, hoping to brake up the fight.

 

"Because we heard some boy planned to wipe out all races apart from vampire's and humans....it makes it our buisness when he wants to kill us."

"You know about Danny?"River said suddenly.

should have known it was something to do with your lot....we'll take it from here."

"Danny's my problem....Im handling it."


"You? your handling it....no offence kid but....you look like you couldnt fight you way out of a paper bag"he laughed

 

"Well to be honest mate you don't look like you could add two and two together." Hermia spat viciously at the man, her intense distaste for any insult aimed at River showing through strongly.

 

he gritted his teeth

Mickey snarled

"No,Hermia....its ok...when Danny comes for them...we'll see who can fight and who cant....I certainly wont be helping you lot."

 

"Just as well really, the world could do with losing a few runts of the little." Hermia smirked darkly, the corner of her mouth twitching upwards and her eyebrow raising in amusement.

"I'd stop baiting them if I were you two..." Ocean remarked quietly, noticing that the growls in the packs' voices weren't kidding around even in the slightest.

 

River glanced at his sister then at the pack

"Just stay away from us....and we wont have any....accidents.

 

Hermia curled her upper lip up slightly, her eyes narrowed.

 

"we'll stay away for as long as is needed Michael....but when your son fails at killing the vampire....we'll step in."

 

"You won't need to step in." Hermia snapped.

 

he laughed,shaking his head,he flicked his hand and the wolves began to move away

 

Hermia bit back the words 'yeah, you walk away' thinking that just letting it go would be for the best. Though self-restraint was certainly not one of her stronger points.

"Well... That was interesting..." Ocean sighed as they left.

"Tell me about it..." Lake muttered under her breath.
