Neoph appeared and kicked Phenox as he was fading.

 

Xeno was holding onto Phenox and he rolled with him.
Scarlet-Ice kept up the cura and she brought out her keyblade. *So. I guess you LOVE ripping up families, don't you? A family everday I guess.*

 

Neoph held up the remote. "red kills him. green stops it."

 

Scarlet-Ice looked warily at the remote. *And just how did you get a chip in him when I was with him or Xeno was the whole time?!*

 

Neoph laughed. "Nophex."

 

Scarlet-Ice narrowed her eyes. How is that possible? I didn't notice anything different and neither did Xeno! He was kind and- She went red with thoughts. *You sick bastard.*

 

Neoph pressed the button again and Phenox screamed in pain.

Xeno hugged Phenox. "Dad... Don't die... Please?"
Scarlet-Ice lunged for the remote. *Give that here!*

 

Neoph jumped back. "don't move or i'll crush it..."
the fading grew worse.

 

Scarlet-Ice stayed still and stared at the remote. She was remembering back 8 years ago when she had been talking technical and had visions, but that had all stopped after she had Xeno.
Xeno was crying now. "Dad! Wake up! Please, don't fade away!"

 

Neoph laughed. "get on your knees and beg. then i'll let him live."
Phenox opened his eyes. "don't.... do it......"

 

Scarlet-Ice still stared at the remote. He said green won't kill him but- She suddenly saw the inside of the remote. The green button was hacked to the red button, making so he would die pressing both. Smirking, she started to walk towards him.

 

Neoph laughed. "i warned ya." he crushed the remote. "see ya!" he vanished.

 

Scarlet-Ice picked up the remains of the remote. *Oh well. It was nice and shiny. To bad it had to die.*
Xeno stared at Scarlet-Ice in horror. "Mom! Dads gonna die and-"
Scarlet-Ice shook her head. She walked over to Phenox and flipped him over. *This is gonna hurt.* She traced the chip in his neck and crushed it.

 

Phenox winced a little. the fading stopped.

 

Scarlet-Ice smiled. *I figured out why I was talking like that 8 years ago. Those experiments made me connected to electronics and I can hack them. Unlike my Dad.... Who prefers to thrash them instead.* She flipped Phenox back over and kissed him.

 

Phenox chuckled as he kissed back. "i remember."

 

*God, I made an idiot out of myself.* Scarlet-Ice smiled.
Xeno tilted his head to the side. "What did Mom do?"

 

Phenox stood up. "i told the heartless story. you tell him." he said to Scarlet.
