I keep listening to Utada songs being played backwards, and it scares me so much but they're so creepily addicting. D: plus I'm naive enough to think that she intended to say these things.​

 

I've listened to Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve for the last 4 hours.

I've been listening to this for like a half an hour, so... yeah. xD

Once I listened to Samskeyti (sp?) by Sigur Ros for six hours straight.​

 

Not bad. I got 10 bucks for listening to What's Up People for about 10 hours straight. I backed out at 2.

 

One night I got addicted to The Invisible Gardener by Bright Eyes and stayed up until, like, 4AM listening to it. I got about 120 plays on it. :]​

 

Backwards songs scare the crap out of me. I don't know why, something about listening to stuff backwards just freaks me out. I feel like someone's watching me or something or like... idk... it's a very irrational fear haha ^_^'

And yet sometimes it's just sooo addicting to listen to them because I'm curious to see what they say... and then of course I'm freaked out for the rest of the day. Gah. Me and my stupid curiosity...

 

xD That's exactly how I feel. It's just so eerie, but it's just so crazy that you want to think it's come conspiracy just for people who listen closely. And the whole thing makes sense, because the assumed backwards lyrics are very dark. Simple & Clean is more or less Hikari, Hikari means light, the reverse version or "side" of the light -> darkness.

... Or maybe I'm just a big nerd.

Hahaha whoa that totally makes sense!! Freaky... I kind of wanna listen... but I kind of don't cause my roommate's gone and everyone's going home for the weekend already so the dorm's kind of empty so I'm all alone... lol I'm such a scaredy cat...

 

xD If you have similar fears to me then I'd suggest you don't. I was home alone for like 10 minutes listening to it and I got the heebey-jeebies.

Omg, have you heard the PokeRap backwards?? At the "Gotta catch 'em all! Gotta catch 'em all!" part, if you play it backwards it seriously sounds like "I AM SATAN! I AM SATAN!" >_< It scared me so much!!

There's a site that has like a bunch of scary backwards songs... the Beatles ones are the creepiest I think. They talk about Paul being dead... omg I'm getting freaked out just thinking about it! We had to listen to all of them in Psychology one day... it was really cool at the time, but then I made the mistake of listening to more when I got back to my dorm room... *shudders*

Hahah yes, I believe that's one of them on that site. Omg, they had this one Weird Al song where he was like, making fun of backwards messages, so forwards it sounds like just gibberish, but then backwards it says "Satan eats cheese whiz!!" LOL
