    Any more riddles?

Did you know that the riddle: What has four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon and three at night? (A person)

According to mythology, this was given by the Sphynx ( in Egypt) to passers by who, if answered incorrectly, were killed.

    Strange what mythology states.

    Anyway.

    Any more riddles?

    you want another one? allright

There are two lengths of rope.
Each one can burn in exactly one hour.
They are not necessarily of the same length or width as each other.
They also are not of uniform width (may be wider in middle than on the end), thus burning half of the rope is not necessarily 1/2 hour.

By burning the ropes, how do you measure exactly 45 minutes worth of time?

    2 ropes
    burn in an hour
not the same length, but burn in one hour.
not the same width, but burn in an hour.
thin onn the ends, but thick in the middle.
half the rope /=/ half an hour

    the middle is 45 minutes???

Nope , but heres a hint : it is not alive and it was never alive at some point of time. Look at the line that says , " When I reach your eyes I make you cry."

BINGO !! You win this round.:)

I am a black child of a white father.= Fire is light and Smoke is black , smoke comes from fire.

When I reach your eyes I make you cry.= Smoke makes your eyes water.

I am a bird with no wings flying up to the lofty heavens.= Smoke floats up to the sky by itself with out a air current.
