No. As per the demonstrated true definition of a "trap thread", it would be a thread in which a picture of a presumed female is posted, who is actually in turn a transvestite, or a "trap".

The topic of this thread went down the drain when the original poster stated that the cake is poisoned.

Technically, it would still be poisoned in the case, since it would be implying that it would be poisoned in certain scenarios. In those certain scenarios the cake would also lead to death.
