You obviously did not make that clear when you boldly stated your experience here would continue to decline in enjoyment until a major change in the staff was made. But obviously you have already realized the mistake you made there during your discussion with Libre, so I applaud you for that. If you realize now that no one is to blame and both the staff and the members could both use some adjustments, we are back on the same page and welcome you to continue working with us to make our community a better place for everyone.

Essentially, no it wasn't. He didn't say the staff are the only reason anything bad ever happens on this site and that he has never done anything to push anyone's buttons. From what I gather he's mostly referencing what happened today when Vivi's thread was wrongfully locked, which you were not here for, and where things would progress in a worst case scenario based on how that was handled.

 

I don't really know. Same drama that has been going on the past month or so, except staff did something about it, so everyone went all 99% on them.

All this is kind of stupid though. Both sides are being emotional, that's just how it is in disagreements. The only difference is that one side accepts that human factor about themselves and try to compromise while the other party a acts like they are above everyone, acts condescending to everyone else, and believes they are always right.

Calling out members is against the rules yes, that includes calling out staff. Staff are members too, after all. What you want to considered a direct or indirect call out can be debated. If somehow such a mild comment offended anyone, I do apologize.

Personally I don't think he was trying to call you all out, he was voicing his opinion. Your post, however, came off as a direct call out against him. But it's all perception.

The Vivi incident is what every thread has been about tonight, and I'm pretty sure he wasn't implying you all cause all the problems, he's not that absurd. He's talking about a decline as in locking threads for no reason and completely censoring us from discussing anything meaningful, which is what seemed to be going on for a bit today. Really though this is all perception.

Our story begins with a young man going to EB games(that's what we call it here in Canadaland) to get the latest Clover Studios game
"Oh BOY! My first year of university, time to spend money on vidya gaems"
The boy walks into the EB games and notices the neackbeard at the counter, he tries his DAMN hardest to ignore his stench.
"Do you have the new Clover Studios game?"
"Okami?"
The boy kicks the nearest stand
"NO YOU ****ING DICK SLAPPER! GOD HAND! IT'S MADE BY SHINJI MIKAMI SO IT MUST BE GOOD!"
The fat neackbear laughs in such a way that the laugh still rings in the young boy's ears to this day.
"Have fun with your bad game"
The neckbear says mockingly, but who cares. TIME FOR GOD HAND!
So the boy buys his God Hand and makes his way to his dorm.
"HAHA! ITME FOR GOD HAND"
Expecting a decent game, the boy inserts the disc into his playstation 2.
And as the Clover Studios logo appears, the boy is entered into a world that is unlike any other

He is presented with two choices

NOT BEING A CASUAL! The boy picks Normal as Hard is not unlocked yet, but one day he will achieve greatness and discover the almighty Hard mode.
"That's what I expected"
A sumg voice fills the boys ears, a voice he will be hearing for the rest of his life.

The game begins with a desert, our main character and his ***** walk onto screen.
"WAAAAATEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!" the presumed MC shouts.
After some talk of sexy thugs, the game truly begins
AND SUDDENLY TANK CONTROLS
AND IT'S LIKE "**** WHAT AM I DOING!?"
AND IT'S LIKE "WHY ARE THE GRAPHICS SO BAD! JESUS THIS LEVEL IS BORING AS ****!"


What a terrible fate to befall this boy, he appears to have boughten an incomplete ass of a game

It's a lot easier to both respond and respect an opinion when you actually make a clarifying one. And yes, it was slightly negative because of how broad the one post was, which lead me to giving an answer as such. You seem to have a lot of hatred towards the staff, which is fine, but I feel this hatred is coming from more than just the one thread being locked tonight. You are always welcome to discuss with me what you personally think can be approved on with the staff team, if that's truly what is bothering you.

As I said, he did make that clear after I already had posted the comment instead of doing so in the first place. That's the only reason we're still talking about this right now. I do appreciate you trying to help out, though I find it rather odd you were somehow able to interpret all that from his original post. Oh well.
