Gaara nodded"...That old legend?..what about i--''Gaara shut his eyes and began thinking.could that be what Orochimaru was talking about.

The entrance to the Akatsuki Base was blown open by Sasuke's powerful Chidori"..Knock Knock Itachi..''he shouted coldly,able to give even the most evil of men a chill down their spine.

 

Itachi, Kisame, Tobi, and Zetsu all turned to face Sasuke. "To what to we owe this disturbance?" Itachi faced Sasuke.

"I don't know... It was just a thought. I could be wrong." Satoshi didn't want Gaara to worry too much. She'd figure it out and do something about it; after all, she'd been doing things without Gaara knowing for the past nine months. Though she felt guilty for keeping secrets from him, she still felt that it was best that he didn't know.

 

"..Maybe...but its unusually accurate..''Gaara pointed out,it could be common coincidence..but on the other hand it could be the real thing.

Sasuke immediately began walking toward's Itachi"..You know what you've done..and your going to pay with your life!"he said coldly,activating his Mangekyou Sharingan.

"If it is right, then we've got a week until the moon is supposed to show." Satoshi said. "Think that's enough time?"

Itachi didn't move, but Kisame reached for Samehada. "That won't be needed." Itachi said to Kisame without looking at Kisame. "You three are dismissed." When they had left, Itachi looked at Sasuke. "I don't have time for your foolishness. Explain why you're here."

Sasuke pulled out his sword"..Do I need to spell it out for you?..I let you escape..and you repay me by attacking Rukia and my daughter...this time you wont escape from me!"he shouted,then charged Itachi.

"..To figure it out?..perhaps..''Gaara said

 

Itachi moved out of Sasuke's path. "That wasn't me. But I'll credit for it."

"I've been thinking of something else too... What if his target is bigger? As in the whole village. His goal is to take down Konoha right? And since we're allied with them, wouldn't it be convenient to get rid of Suna before going to Konoha again?" Satoshi didn't want her theory to be right, but there was a big chance that it was.

 

"..Obviously..''Gaara said with a little annoyance.

Sasuke side stepped after Itachi and tried cutting his eyes"Who else would want them dead!?''he asked,Itachi tried it once...he obviously tried again.

BIC: "You'll have to figure that out for yourself." Itachi dodged again, not making a move to attack.

"So shouldn't we do something about the people? If Suna is his target, he's gonna kill everyone he can." Satoshi hated the people for the way the treated her, but she didn't want them to die.

 

"...Im too tired for this..''Gaara said.he wasnt making any excuses..he just couldnt think at the moment"...I wasnt going to tell you this...but im stepping down as Kazekage..''

OOC: Tobi is an Uchiha. The FIRST Uchiha to be exact. He should be dead, but there's a jutsu similar to Orochimaru's that keeps he alive. His real name is Madara. He helped Itachi kill all the Uchiha's so he's NOT a good boy! XP

BIC: "Why?!" Satoshi was surprised.

 

Sasuke stopped attacking"Tell me or I'll kill us both..''he mumbled.

Gaara rubbed his head"..It's too much responsibility for a 16 year old...I just cant do this..''he muttered

 

"I though you'd be able to figure it out." Itachi said, disappointed. "I knew I couldn't expect you to be too smart."

"Well who's gonna do it if you're not? You're the best we've had." Satoshi said.

 

Sasuke ignored Itachi's attempt at hurting his feelings"...THere's no one else..who else would want to kill the Uchiha clan again?...your the one who killed them all..not anyone else..''he muttered

Gaara let out an irritable sigh"...You can...''he said carelessly.

 

"Everyone hates me. Why would they want me as Kazekage?" Satoshi asked. "And besides, I'm not a responsible person, and I'm not qualified either. Are there tests that you have to do or something like that?"

"No I didn't." Itachi said plainly.

 

Sasuke's eyes shot toward's Itachi"..What do you mean you didnt?..you were the only one there that night..it was just you and me...lying wont stop me from killing you..''he said

Gaara nodded"..Situation Test..Combat Test...Negotiation Test..Team Test..Hostage test/'he said.

 

"Jeez.... I don't think I could do it... Kazekage's have to be strong." Satoshi said.

"I've got important business that needs attention. I'll only tell you if you leave." Itachi said.

 

"It isnt always about strength..and besides..your stronger than I ever could be..''Gaara muttered.

"..How can you tell me if Im gone?..and how do I know I can trust you?''Sasuke asked

Gaara held his foehead"...I change my mind..I think I'll go home for the night..''he muttered,he turned around and began walking home,and was wobbling awkwardly.

 

"That's what you're supposed to think. But if you used that small brain of yours, you'd see that he was right here a moment ago." Itachi said.

Satoshi lowered her eyes. She watched Gaara go and then looked at the people. "Get a life!" She yelled and then started walking to her apartment. Gaara-sama... This really is too hard on him...
